Love this place! I was blown away by the carpaccio dish. The burrata was also really good. Then tried two entrees that are new on their menu. The tuna one was good with an amazing mashed potato but the eggplant pasta was even better.

Booked Tutto for a friend's birthday last minute and it unexpectedly turned out to be a wonderful Italian cuisine experience. The dark moody ambiance makes a great place for date nights, birthdays, and girls night dinner vibes. Drinks were wonderful classics and the server was very attentive in checking in on our requests and food restrictions. We had two vegan friends who were wonderfully accommodated and could eat modified items on the menu. I tried my friend's vegan mushroom risotto and it still tasted very good without dairy! I loved the amount of truffle that was on the food I ate that night. The beef carpaccio was a delicious staple paired with the crostini on the side. A few members of our party all ordered the mushroom risotto and it was truly the star of the night - absolutely delicious and not too salty. Portion sizes were also very agreeable and we were stuffed by the end of night. The server was also very sweet and sent my friend a complimentary tiramisu for his birthday. I am a sucker for a tiramisu and although I found it a bit on the sweeter side, the gesture was still greatly appreciated. Overall, the experience that night was very seamless and pleasant. From the food to the vibes to the service, everything was very well done. I will have to return, thank you Tutto!

I have my Favourite Italian in Vancouver, but regretfully tried something new. Keep in mind: Their website menu, Google Menu and Yelp Menu all differ. Speaking of Menu....they don't serve Ravioli, Arancini or Lamb. Those items not on an Italian menu is like a Mexican Restaurant not serving Tacos...moving on.... Dinner Time. Walking through the dining room to be sat, it felt and looked like the power was out. The only light was coming from the kitchen in the back. That's how dark it was. Nope, not mood lighting. Not romantic....just came across as....Oops we lost electricity...lets set up candles. I had to turn on my phone camera to look at their 7 page wine list. Fun. Keep in mind, I'm not 50 yet and the noise level in the dining area had us forced to be reseated in the lounge. That's how extremely loud it was. I couldn't hear my company sitting across from me, or hear myself think. I asked the manager and she explained that it echoes in this space. Well....maybe then it might be a good idea not to pack the place like sardines. You know...it being especially supposedly Fine Dining. So now, I couldn't see or hear....and we haven't even ordered yet. Not a good start. The Food.... Caesar Salad. - The romaine was old and the dressing had no taste. Their Caesar made the pre-packaged generic Caesar salad kits at your local grocery store taste amazing. Had to turn it down. Calamari - ok. Bolognese - I make them better at home. Lobster Spaghetti. - The flavour profile was good but you're getting at most $15 worth of Lobster for a $44 Lobster dish. It was mostly pasta with sauce. Shortchanging. Another stench that doesn't go well with Fine Dining. Why so stingy? Give the people what they paid for. Tiramisu - I'm not certain if it was, but it tasted frozen not made fresh. Our Server was friendly and the chap did the best he could. I mean really not much else to say.... Honestly, if you ask me....I think you can do better. Slightly left an odour of disappointment following us up Homer Street.

Food was okay but ambiance was good. Understaffed. We had to wait and call our waiter a few times to bring us some essentials.

I live so close I smell them whenever the weather is nice enough to open my windows. Why did I wait so long. Came for DineOutVancouver and they are fantastic. The menu was a cold tomato soup, a mushroom lasagna, followed by limoncello. Everything was excellent. Flavors were well balanced and the textures were exquisite. Paired with a lovely Italian red wine and I'm sold. The ambience is nice, they do play music which included tunes for a Soul album release while I was middle school. The room has a decent amount of noise. I highly recommend.

I came here for the first time to have dinner by myself. The inside of the restaurant was lively, with more than half of the seats occupied by customers. And it was quite noisy. I tried the Thursday daily special : Braised Beef Short Rib sautéed spinach, parmesan risotto. And I ordered salad. Beef was a little tough and taste was weak. Salad was good. I wished meat was more tender.

Came here on a Friday night with a early dinner reservation and was seated immediately. We ordered the calamari which was fresh and delicious but the portion size of the dish was a little lacking for the price. For main course we ordered the tagliatelle ragú and the casarecce pasta. Firstly, between appetizer and main course we had to wait around 45 minutes, we saw all the tables around us receive their food and some of them even finished before we got ours. Our waitress noticed this and offered to give us a free dessert because of the wait which was nice. I do understand that mistakes can happen but I do feel like this long wait affected my overall experience. The quality of the main course dishes were mixed. I liked the casarecce, was worried the fennel would come off too strong but it really made the dish flavorful and enjoyed it. The tagliatelle ragú was lacking in the amount of meat, the flavor of the sauce as well as the overall portion size of this dish seemed a great deal smaller than the rest of the pastas. The dessert we were comped with was the flourless chocolate cake which was paired with vanilla ice cream and berry syrup. The cake did not feel rich enough for me and thought the dish was just okay. Not sure if I'll be coming back because of the service and because nothing that we ordered really stood out to me.

We came for happy hour and were served promptly. We ordered calamaro, carpaccio and diavola pizza. The food was a bit disappointing to me. The calamari was kind of rubbery. Personal preference I felt that T The tomato sauce didn't go well with it. The carpaccio was the better of the three dishes. I loved the amount of arugula on there. I wish the Crackers it came with weren't so crispy as they broke almost immediately after I put the carpaccio on there. The pizza was another disappointment as the dough wasn't as chewy as I would have likes. The toppings were definitely on the salter side. The service was super nice and friendly. The atmosphere was elegant without being too over the top. I'm glad I was able to enjoy the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant. Would maybe have to go back and try their pasta as thats the only category I didn't try a dish from

    Burrata appetizer

I came in for lunch during a busy work day. We shared the burrata appetizer, which was great for sharing. It was exactly as expected and a perfect starter. My sablefish entree was also delicious, but the portions were tiny. I have to admit I was still hungry so that's something to keep in mind when ordering seafood here. The pasta and other meat dishes were all a lot bigger. Service was excellent and we never had to ask for more water or wine.

Love this little Italian spot that's nestled at Homer/Smithe. Dishes are tasty; we had the osso bucco and beef carpaccio. Both were beautifully presented and came out in a timely manner. Great spot for a business lunch or dinner; they also have a vibrant bar that's great for social catchups. The space isnt super big, so when the dining room fills up, its quite loud and very warm in temperature. Servers are super professional, answered our questions about the menu and food came out looking stunning, and full of flavours. Great options for dessert and coffee as well. Would come back again to experience their happy hour, a family dinner, or book another client meal.

Good service, made reservations, had a great host. Ordered 2 types of pasta, 1 pizza, 2 appetizers (grilled octopus and grilled squid) and 2 types of desserts plus drinks. Everything was delicious (my pictures aren't that great fyi) and everything came out at a good time. Nice inside, you can dress up if you want to (we did!) Overall would recommend, glad we came to have dinner here during our trip to Vancouver :)

    Short rib ravioli
    Jenna T.

It's really hard to mess up some Italian food, but when you do it right, it's unforgettable and Tutto is one of those places. White tablecloth type of place and some seats were the kind that wrap around you (not really ideal for thicker people, I had no extra room). Either the caesar salad was amazing or I was just dying for some veggies haha. The squid ink pasta with seafood was amazing and the perfect amount of food. Nothing was overcooked on that plate. The short rib ravioli was another table favorite. And my other friend ordered the special white fish (forgot what kind) with puree and gnocchi. White fish was super delicate and packed a lot of flavor. One of our top 5 places we ate during our visit, no doubt. Phenomenal food!

    Patricia F.

Music to my mouth Spaghetti di Mare - squid ink pasta, fresh seafood, roasted cherry tomatoes, lemon crumb herb. Absolutely delicious! Funghi e Tartufo - roasted wild mushrooms, summer truffles, taleggio. This pizza made me dance in my chair, it was that good! Beautiful decor, fantastic service and food is simply fabulous. Definitely recommend.

The service was also great, with multiple people checking in on us. The corkage, at $20, is very reasonable and the restaurant even comp'ed our tiramisu! We will miss it once it is gone. The food was quite decent. I thought the prices were a bit inflated for just pasta, but the portion size was pretty massive -- most of us took leftovers to go. The restaurant is located next to a fire station, sushi takeout and indoor bike gym. You can park in the underground pay lot shared between a hotel and public. The restaurant interior is pleasant and inviting, like dining in a rustic mansion. Restrooms are located on the upper level. The service was great and food was excellent overall - just one minor ding. Overall 4 stars. 1. Absolutely share the Octopus Mosaic, a carpaccio-preparation of paper-thin octopus fused together like chain mail armor, and bursting with flavor from the limoncello dressing. High protein and low carb too (5 stars) 2. Romaine salad was fresh and had light dressing with a quail egg snuck underneath. (4 stars) 3. No kid's menu here but they do offer half-sized entree portions with modifications. We got the rigatoni with butter parmesan and our son eventually ate half of it. He was probably still full from lunch. 4. The lobster-prosciutto stuffed chicken breast was skin-on and cooked perfectly. Very hearty dish, with veggies and gnocchi to add some carbs for balance. 5. Wife got the Branzino filet in Veloute sauce. Fish was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The minor ding is that a few hours after dinner my wife was getting super thirsty. It was either dehydration or maybe there was more sodium than expected. Vietnamese fish sauce has a similar effect on her. Anyways, it was an excellent dish when we ate it. Also, they had this awesome beet puree on the side which our son loved. He eventually ate some of my chicken when slathered with the beet puree. Kids and their quirky appetites...

We absolutely loved their house-made pasta during that visit, so we knew we had to return and explore more of the menu. Ambiance - 4/5 One of the things we appreciate most about this restaurant is the outdoor seating. On a beautiful day, it's a wonderful place to enjoy a meal, especially if you're dining with a dog. Being able to relax outside with our pup made for a very enjoyable experience. Service - 3/5 Service was friendly, but not quite as attentive as during our previous visit. Our server was pleasant, though there were a few missed opportunities to enhance the experience. For example, we weren't informed that alcohol could not be served in the outdoor dining area until after we had already started looking at the drink menu while we were in the middle of dining. Food - 4/5 The highlight of this restaurant continues to be its house-made pasta. The texture is wonderfully chewy and perfectly cooked, giving each dish a freshness that's difficult to find elsewhere. This visit, we tried the mushroom tagliatelle with truffle rosé sauce. While the description sounded incredible, the dish didn't quite live up to our expectations. It was enjoyable, but we still preferred the bolognese from our previous visit and cacio e pepe from this visit, both of which showcased the pasta more effectively. We also ordered the gnocchi, which was well prepared and satisfying to certain extent, but it didn't surpass our favorite one from San Francisco. The pesto sauce was just okay. If we order the gnocchi again, we'd likely try it with a tomato-based sauce instead. Overall Value - 4/5 This restaurant offers excellent value, particularly for pasta lovers. The quality of the house-made pasta alone makes it worth a visit, and there are still several dishes on the menu we're eager to try. The restaurant was cute, cozy, and could seat us right away so we decided to give it a try. We got the poached pear salad and enjoyed it! The pears were delicious and a very refreshing salad. It did come with burrata on top which was a bit disappointing since it wasn't gooey at all. For our mains, we split the pesto rigatoni and the special which was also a rigatoni with white wine, capers, shrimp and lemon. First off, the noodles are delicious on both dishes. They are clearly handmade in the best way possible. Very tender, delicate, and almost melt in your mouth. The pesto dish was perfect but again the burrata on top was disappointing since it was sort of tough/dry and not gooey. The special dish was very good but the lemon was quite strong. Initially it was a bit too much but it did grow on you over time and I did like the dish. We ended with a tiramisu and while it was delicious, there wasn't much of the bread/cake/cookie part as it was mostly cream. Overall, it was fun to try a new place but I expected a more for the price point. For $35 per plate plus salad and dessert it was a very expensive dinner and we weren't full.

There were three four-person tables occupied by only two people each, and they had literally just sat down and still had their menus.
