Really enjoyable spot. Love the entrance and ambiance. The staff is all incredibly friendly and the burger & fries hit the spot. The drinks were strong, bold and delicious. Would absolutely come back. If you are nearby, don't miss this spot.

Very easy for us to get a seat with no reservation. The drinks were really good and the prices during happy hour were also relatively decent in comparison to many speakeasies. Though quite small, the decor is really cool. My only issue was that the menu was slightly misleading. It led me to believe that some snacks were free, but we ended up getting charged about $9. I would definitely come back and try the burgers from the restaurant it's connected to!

This is a great speakeasy behind Hundy burger. The lighting is romantic and the sound level allows for intimate conversation, particularly in the back room. We went on a Jameson Whiskey night and had their three featured cocktails for $40, which were all excellent. I really enjoyed the combination of bitter amaro to offset the sweetness. Although the Stock Room doesn't make food, they do serve burgers from Hundy. You order from your waitress and they're brought right to your table, very hot, and added to your bill, so it's completely seamless. The unsung hero of the Hundy menu is the cabbage salad with dashi peanuts! It's the perfect spice level, and not overdressed. The bacon cheeseburger is also good, but my favorite was the spicy chicken sandwich--basically a Nashville hot chicken, but without the insane spice level. The chicken had a great crunchy batter, and there were plenty of pickles. Shoutout to the crispy fries, too, which were great when they were hot from the kitchen. Service was friendly and responsive The drinks were spaced out nicely, and we had plenty of time to relax. A great find.

Stopped in for drinks and ended up staying for food--no regrets! Saw someone with a burger and had to try it. We got the burger and chicken sandwich, and both were super tasty and filling. Drinks were great too. Our server was awesome--really friendly and on top of everything. Cool speakeasy vibe. Definitely a spot to check out if you're in Vancouver!

We came at 6pm for just a couple drinks. They are located inside the burger restaurant just behind the curtain. We got the espresso martinis and they were okay. Nothing outstanding or smooth. The service was really friendly. Always checking up on you etc. Felt a little pressured to order more drinks but other than they were really nice Price point wise it was okay. Not crazy expensive. This place is definitely more just a place to hang and chill. Not so much for the drinks and food Would recommend for a date as its dark and intimate

Fast food under the guise of a sexy speakeasy. The ambience is dark and intimate and of course the experience of walking behind the burger joint to get here is cool. But look at the photos of the food. I was really disappointed it didn't even come on a plate. Fast food quality with Vancouver bar prices. It's a pass for me.

Great happy hour deals and wonderfully crafted cocktails. We sat at the bar for happy hour and got a great price for some delicious espresso martinis. We also ended up ordering fries from the restaurant in front and they were great. They even came with yummy dipping sauces (jalapeño aioli, spicy mayo). It was an intimate setting but the bartender and people next to us at the bar were friendly.

I walked into the stock room right as they opened. For one they are a little hard to find as you enter it through another restaurant. The drinks were mediocre but way too over priced. They have a tie up with the burger joint for the food which came in to go boxes. The food was decent though again extremely over priced. The service was slow despite them being almost empty. The stools were not comfortable either so all in all not an experience I want to return to

Wonderful ambience and amazing service! Beautiful, upscale speakeasy; you are offered the highest caliber of service, with the expected behaviour of upper echelons naughtiness. Big shout outs to Rachel, a manager (if she's not already promoted she should be). She's style, grace, she's encompassing values of this place to a tee. Julian, who was our bartender has an all-encompassing friendly openness. The drinks were amazing but more so - he was focused on every guest and attentive. He should be a manager or owner - he is the biggest asset to the company along with Rachel. Thank you all for all you've given 10/10

Drinks with crazy vibe

When you enter, you realize why, the entire place is extremely dark with very limited lighting. At first, it was hard to see, but after my eyes adjusted, it was a wildly decorated tiki bar. They even had frequent "thunderstorms." I sat at the bar because the tables were very limited. The bar staff seemed like they have been there a long time and were extremely helpful when navigating the large menu. The drinks were amazing and well crafted! Also, it's a good idea to come after a hearty meal to fully appreciate the alcohol. As you step into this bar from the bustling streets of Vancouver, you're instantly transported to a humid, tropical paradise. The theme is all around you, and you're suddenly in Hawaii, ready to order a mai tai. We began with the mystery bowl, and each bowl comes with its own unique song and flair, making it a fun experience. Whether it's the fire, the smoke show, or the lights flashing in the background as everyone turns to see what you've ordered, it's all part of the show. Besides the bowls, be sure to order your own drinks, as they have something for everyone. Their menu is easy to read, so you can already picture the drink you're about to enjoy. Overall, this is a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion with their whimsical drinks.

This looks like a one man show as he took care of seating people, making drinks, etc. We kept the orders fairly simple - we tried the Kir Royale Jell-O shots and glory hole (bartenders choice) as this place seems to be known for their shots. The Jell-O shots were quite sweet and not really strong and the glory hole one is more licorice like which is not really my thing but at least it's strong. The value is good for getting 2 at a time as it was $9CAD for 1 or $14CAD for 2. The place is pretty cool as you walk in an accountant firm first before approaching the bar. The space inside is very cramped and you're shoulder to shoulder with people so not the most optimal for a date night but if you want a place for a short visit then this would be fine.

We didn't have reservations but still able to walk in as a party of 4. It was slightly busy on a Sunday evening but still have some tables left. The cocktail that stood out the most unique is the camel one since it is made with actual camel milk. We also got the letter, alphabet, and leopard, all of which were well spiced or fruity or herbal. Each cocktail is fairly well executed, simplistic in presentation. This is a good speakeasy to check out if you are in the area, as well as Laowai which is their sister bar.

Mixed feelings about this place . There are things I liked ( ambience , prices ,…read morebartender/mixologist currently working's personal flair ) when I visited , however I didn't have the best experience overall . Two stars ( instead of one ) for the bartender trying to make it right by offering me a free shot with my happy hour beverage but honestly I would have rather just been treated better (with a little more consideration) . In the states at "fancy" restaurants and or really popular places ( in general places that take reservations) , a single person would never really be allowed to sit at a larger table or booth, unless extreme circumstances warranted it like they were disabled / had a wheelchair ( which I am ) due to the fact that most likely a larger party who would obviously want to sit together, would need that limited space and it would be awkward to have someone move tables when they were already enjoying their drink or meal to accommodate a larger party. This rule, however doesn't really exist at places like dive bars . In general as most dive bars tended to be sparsely populated ...sitting wherever is not really an issues . In general first come first serve and every man for himself ...is usually the vibe . I arrived here, basically at opening and was there for about 40 minutes when a party of four arrived . All four of them kept looking at my table where I was sitting (the only booth in the small bar) as they were initially forced to sit together at one of the single tables with four chairs . Next thing, I know the bartender comes over to me and apologizes, saying he has to bug me and request that I move to a smaller table because they need the one booth . As I gathered my belongings to move, members of the larger party avoided making eye contact as they some thanked me for moving . Obvious that they were feeling guilt and yet it didn't stop them from claiming the booth I was using as a disabled person . Quite an unpleasant experience . To be fair I get the need to accommodate a larger party but honestly they could've literally just pushed three tables together and arranged the chairs to be three on each side. It would've been a little bit more work, but I think it would have been the fairest solution ..and would have been my solution as the employee working there or if I was a member of the party . It's the entitlement that really bothered me . I think I just come from a place where in certain instances people wouldn't even dare ask .

They're located in Chinatown and I love that they lean into the Asian theme with the apothecary and medicinal themed drinks. The service is super friendly and the ambiance is intimate but lively. All the cocktails we had here were amazing! I don't like martinis but I decided to try one again here, since I figured that if I don't like this one, I won't like any martini. The Forager's Martini was actually super refreshing. It was ice cold in a carafe and I felt that it was more of a 50/50 martini. It was botanical forward and had a lot of complexity. I still prefer other cocktails but it definitely changed my mind on martinis. Another stand out to me was the Gimme S'more. It was a seasonal drink so they might not have it when you go, but it tasted just like a mix of s'mores and champurrado (Mexican hot chocolate). The drink had the pumpernickel toasty flavors of rye, and mixed with the cocoa, amaro, and cayenne gave it complexity and a hint of spice at the back of the palate. The graham cracker foam on top added the s'mores vibe since it tasted exactly like a graham cracker. Another non-seasonal drink I really liked was the Fantasy Island. It kinda reminded me of a cosmopolitan with its tart fruit forward flavors. The strawberry, rhubarb, and pomegranate worked together to make a perfect sweet and sour balance. The egg white added structure and a foam to the drink which I really enjoyed and contributed to the velvety mouthfeel.
