My daughter started here last year when she was 5, and the progress from then to now is incredible. We now have joined the company team, and are at the studio 4 days a week. I drive from Carlsbad (pregnant and with my two toddlers) bc they are THAT GOOD. The training and attention that my daughter gets here is well worth it. Not only is the technique and training impeccable, but the love that ALL of the teachers have for their students is very prevalent throughout the studio. Erin runs this place with grace. MDP proud!!

In my mind, the type of songs and outfits are appropriate for little girls - they're not being asked to dance or wear things that would be more appropriate for an older teenager. They create an atmosphere of love and respect. The teachers are both younger and older women and they are absolutely wonderful to the little girls. The owners are a Christian family who really live out their faith with biblical guidelines on how people should be treated. From the very top, all the way to how the parents act and how the girls are expected to treat each other, everyone holds a very high standard of how we treat people, and I truly appreciate that.

The clues were all there. The dancers who have been dancing with the previous owners refused to stay and left before and after the changes happened. My children and other kids would be coming out from practice crying. Lauren uses fear, taking her anger out on the kids during practice, and demoralizing words to get what she want. My children loved dance since they started with the previous owners Lauren and Amanda for seasons 2 &3. However, all the things people did loved about the studio disappeared when they left. Parents had Major problems with inappropriate costumes, lack of communication, lack of transparency, lying, unethical business practices. Lauren the director would be yelling and disrespecting her mother (the manager) in front of everyone.(kids and adults) Our problem started when my son barely got only his top costumes two days prior the competition and I had to run around looking for a matching pants and shoes because his solo costume were never revealed until I asked for them. Then same thing happened on the next competition. Again, I have to find a matching pants because the director and management hired a seamstress that doesn't make pants. No responsibility and accountability whatsoever on their part. After the fact costume fees we due and paid couple of months before competitions. Second, She kicked off my other child based on other parents gossiping and hating on my daughter. Lying about her not being injured and showing video that my daughter danced weeks before her injury as proof. The fact we gave Lauren the doctor's and ER notes and still made the decision based on parents input tells me she was after getting my children kicked off the team and keep the money. Not only did she kicked off my daughter for the wrong reason and her breaking the contract, uninvited our daughter to the end of the year team bonding she lied about our payments to the competition company is not refundable. Yes, she refunded the first one but not the second one, which was the highest amount. I asked for proof of that statement for the dance company but she couldn't provide one because it's a lie. I reached out to the company and sent me their rules and regulations which to state it's credited back to the dancer for next competition or convention. The directors last toxic attempt was towards my 9 years old son. Lauren try to get my family and son not to attend the last competition by doing fake documents, deleting us from all type of communication between the studios and parents like band app and facebook. As per fully paid and costumers we received the most heinous service from the new Supreme Dance Center owner. We have been the one who have been supportive, understanding to numerous cancellations and rescheduling solo and duo practices due to the director/teacher, child, and other parents personal reasons. However, they have the audacity to be two-faced to me and to my family. A toxic environment and behavior we definitely don't want to associate with...We do not recommend this dance studio at all....0

You lack the common courtesy to reach out to us when we needed to know if my child was going to dance with her partner. This season trying to understand if my child was going to dance on her day was always up in the air because of your UNPROFESSIONALISM. If you are going to LIE at least give everyone the common courtesy and tell people the reason. FYI the communication from the owner was simple, I had no issues it's called being straightforward and not HIDING or waiting for the last minute and become a VICTIM. I don't like saying much when it comes to the studio or owner. I have COMMUNICATED with her and had no issues there. This post sounds like someone is upset because you didn't get your way. I was constantly reassured, and it made the experience so much fun. She taught us the steps, which was great, but even more importantly she gave us confidence in our abilities. On the day of our wedding, my bustle was having all sorts of problems, so we had to cut a big move out of our dance. I thought about what she would tell me to do, and it went off without a hitch! I remembered a brochure given to me from a bridal show, and went digging for it. After contacting Kate, I somewhat nervous about our first lesson, but Kate made it so fun and easy to learn the steps, and I was very shocked that she choreographed our dance, both partners' steps, before each class and could remember and teach them back so effortlessly. She has a warm up before each lesson, then breaks down each and every step. Plus, she posts your dance lesson for you to watch again and practice on your own. The dance steps went with our music went perfectly, and I couldn't imagine not having had a choreographed dance for our first dance as husband and wife. To top it off, my father and I went to see Kate too, to practice a father-daughter dance since my dad had multiple knee surgeries and trouble moving quick-steps to music. Kate is the whole package- along with her brother, they slowed down Temptation's "My Girl", quite a bit, but you would NEVER notice. Oh, and did I mention Kate is like, the WHOLE package?? She worked with my wedding planner, DJ, and venue coordinator to practice in our venue before the wedding. She was there on our wedding day! She taped up the front of my dress so I wouldn't step on it, and ran through our dance before we took the floor. I did not expect all of Kate's services with her price. It is a family friendly, age appropriate dance studio that focuses on musicality and technique. The teachers are kind and knowledgeable and push the kids just the right amount. I love this place. It is our second home and the teachers and other dancers have become family. The owner Ms. Kellie is an exceptional role model to all the kids who pass through her studio.
