My daughter no longer attends dance class at TDC. She loved her time there but wanted to try gymnastics. She's 6yrs old so her attention span is about as long as a flies. She danced for a year and took a combo ballet/tap class on Saturday mornings. She had a blast with her instructor and the other little girls. We even signed up for the Father/Daughter dance at the recital and I must say, I was apprehensive at first but it was a great time. Her and I got to go to practice for 4 Saturdays just her and I with the other dads/daughters and we had a great time learning the dance together. Show night was really fun! The package was pricey but included my tuxedo rental and her second costume as well. We got to take professional pictures in our outfits and we bought the video of the performance as well. TDC is a great place if you're looking for a quality dance program for any age. The older kids/teens (male and female) were absolutely amazing on stage. Thanks for the memories TDC! read more

My son, Seth, has been dancing here since he started walking. We were lucky to have Ms. Amanda Jones as his first teacher. She has now been with him these past 3 seasons. We make the nearly 2 hour drive from Palm Desert every Saturday morning so he can dance at TDC. Thank you Amanda and of course Mrs. Lani Morel for providing this great space for kids!! Despite the free squishy I got today to play with it didn't distract me enough from the fact that the glare on room 6 and 7 is so intense you can't actually see your kids perform. All the parents complain about it so I am surprised nothing has been done to fix it. When I asked the front desk last week they told me to make sure the lights were off in the hallway (didn't help). Instead of buying squishes to give out I respectfully suggest a couple of curtains to block the outside light. Thank you from a parent that actually wants to watch their kids. read more

Absolutely outstanding dance studio with kind, caring & incredibly patient and talented instructors. Our toddler attended the last 3 months of last season and we originally started with one day a week and immediately signed her up with a second day. We just began our new season this week and she has two new instructors and one repeat we had from last season whom my daughter adores! She is enrolled in 3 classes this season for a reason. This dance studio has a wonderful reputation and parents I've met since moving here referred us here. I couldn't be more pleased with our experience so far! They also offer Saturday classes which we signed her up for so her Dad can join in watching her as he works weekdays and this is a definite bonus to our experience! The studio is very clean considering how much foot traffic comes through daily and their entire staff are very helpful and kind when calling or asking questions at their front desk. I have even recently put my youngest (17 months) on the tiny tots class and she loves it! We have had nothing but positive experiences. HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I randomly got a call from the "owner" kicking my 4 year old out of the school/hip hop class with no warning after 2 classes. No explanation just that he's not a good fit and we would be refunded his tuition. I was shocked. I called back and was given an apology from whomever answered the phone which was nice. But when I asked for the manager to call me back I got a call from the owner. I asked for more info and was told he was "too disruptive" and had "behavior problems." First of all don't label my kid. Secondly, the owner never witnessed or observed any class. During the second class some girl from the front desk came and made small talk with me, now I realize she was being shady and watching my son. I specifically spoke to the teacher "Ashley D" after both classes and she assured me he was fine and all was well. However, the owner said she heard otherwise and flat out lied to me about a conversation that didn't take place. If my son was "too disruptive" then I should have been personally contacted prior to kicking him out to make a mature decision. Invite me to meet with them, call me, something! I tried to reach out with the teacher and was refused her information from the owner. The owner makes the rules and doesn't involve parents in decision making regarding their own child. Not once was I called or met with prior to abruptly being told he was kicked out. He wasn't perfect during the classes but he is learning! I told them it was literally the first class he's ever attended and they said no problem. This information needs to be out there for anyone considering this school. I'm sure many have had good experiences, as I was lectured by the owner they have "over 2500 students" and have been in business for "27 years." I honestly don't care about that. All I know is these people are FAKE, ELITIST, and don't care about how they come off to parents or how kids are treated. Try explaining to a 4 year old who loves to dance he isn't good enough for these idiots. read more

Everything about TDC classes has been awesome for my kiddos. Hip hop, Jazz, and Combo classes have all been very positive experiences. We are approaching one year with the company and my kids still look forward to class every time we go! The front office is friendly and helpful, and the teachers have all met my kids right where they're at as far as skill-level goes. One of our teachers last year even went so far as to understand our child's medical condition and never once made her feel ostracized or frustrated. We love TDC!! read more

Hallways are hot and uncomfortable no where to sit, no place for prospective dancers (younger sibling), office staff are generally unfriendly and border on rude. I'm a grandmother so perhaps they are more accommodating and friendly to parents but i doubt it because everyone complains about them. Young parents just seem to accept it. Sadly, one of things that will be missed when we move away from California is this dance school. When my daughter was 3, she was kicking and screaming so I figured I would have to wait a little more time in order for her to get used to being in a dance class. But instructor (Miss Sarah) had the patience to help my daughter find the class fun and okay to be around other kids she didn't know at the time. Then I knew this was the place for my kid. So, she continued to go there for about five more years and made a lot of good, fun memories. For myself, I enjoyed attending the end of the season recitals and watching all the other talented kids dance and put on quite a show. My daughter will also miss taking Miss Stephanie's ballet class and Miss Darah's jazz class. read more

I've been taking my son here since February of 2018 and he is still shy in the tiny tots class but he loves it ! Our teacher Ms. Kelly is awesome at what she does and from what I've seen all of the staff is very friendly and professional . Not only that but it's one of the few places that has a mommy and me ( tiny tots) class that's a full hour. It sounds like a long time but it goes by quick and the kids have a lot of fun .
