I would give 5 stars for the staff, namely Katie and Anthony at the front desk. They were exceptionally helpful. Katie, in particular, genuinely enjoys working here and did everything in her power to ensure my party had the best stay. I would give 1.5- 2 stars for the lack of a code of conduct or the enforcement thereof. There were so many couples who struggled with keeping their "physical passion for one another" to themselves. Many different couples were spanking each other LOUDLY in various areas of the resort. There were some couples who were getting a little too comfortable with one another in different soaking tubs, some who were getting "handsy" at the clay cove, and some who were just doing questionable behavior regardless where they were. I am a young adult and I've been around couples who have had public passion for each other- like making out at amusement parks- you know, the usual. BUT this behavior was on another level; this was out of the bounds of public decency. On the note of public decency, there were a few guests whose swimwear exposed more than it covered (if you're picking up what I'm throwing down). There was, also, one man in particular who was smoking/ taking a fat rip of his vape in front of CHILDREN. All that being said, I could NOT, in good conscience, recommend this place to anyone accompanied by very young humans as a child-friendly/ family- friendly resort. Aside from those concerns, everything else met my standards. Hotel room (Stone Lodge) was clean. Towels were stocked at the pools. The temperatures were good. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not return as a day pass user (since my party and I are not locals), BUT we would come back as hotel guests.

This was my first time driving a jet ski and had no trouble getting the hang of it. SO much fun. The lake was empty before noon on a Monday but got a bit busier and choppier around 1. The views were great, some wildlife, and we will definitely return and would recommend. Five stars!

Plenty of free parking available right infront of the sanctuary. There is a cute little shop attached to the sanctuary, where you can buy their handmade truffle chocolates which are so delicious (coming from someone who isn't a fan of truffle chocolates), fresh farm eggs, honey, and other delicacies. With your zoo "ticket" you get 2 free samples of their chocolates and a hefty bag of feed for the animals. The animals are mostly in their own pens, with some together. There's even a couple of the pigs you'll find out of pens, just hanging out on the property, laying beside the building. You're able to go into the tortoise pen and feed/pet him as well, 2 people at a time inside the pen, as he does get anxious. You're not able to feed all of the animals, but for the most part you can. Each pen has a sign for which animals are ok to feed/pet and which are not. They are very calm and friendly, as long as you are too. They take the feed very gently and don't bite your fingers. On the weekends they offer pizza made fresh for the visitors, and have plenty of covered outdoor seating options to enjoy. They also offer wine tasting, but we did not partake, as we had just left a winery, but I'm sure it is quite enjoyable as well. Definitely a must stop if you're in the area and it's a 5 minute drive from the wineries!

We couldn't see the tortoise since he was in his house and no one was around to let us in the pen. The chocolate truffles are great; we bought some of those.

This dance studio was the best in the area, however, not anymore. It is still a great studio for recreational dancing, as long as you do not join the CIP or Company levels. The owner leaves much to be desired, dodges parents input and is biased. She allows males instructors to interrogate female dancers in a room alone, with no other female adult witness present. Kids are constantly interrogated when issue between dancers come up and parents are NEVER informed before hand. Jimmy Peters is allowed to yell, emotionally and mentally belittling dancers when performance is not up to his standards. He has been know to throw chairs, disrespect other instructors by yelling at them in front of the dancers. When instructors resign the owner turns the story around, instead of speaking the truth. Finally, my daughter, a company dancer informed me one of the groups are putting on a lap dance, where a girl will dance with a group of boys. My daughter overheard Jimmy tell another instructor he was exhausted after convincing the boys to touch the girl "a certain way"!!!! My son told me some of the boys in Company told him they are doing a number where they will dress like drag queens, again Jimmy encouraged the dance!!! I am appauled and will be seeking anothor studio having closer Christian values than TDC. If you were thinking about TDC move on if your child is good enough to join CIP or Company. This is NOT a healthy place for your child!!! We are pulling out our children out!! Had enough of the perversion!!! read more

Amazing place for all ages and levels of dance. My kids can't wait for the next class. We definitely found a home at TDC. I love how Lani encourages the students to support each other. Watching the passion and creativity that Erik and Jimmy have with each student and numbers they choreography. Jimmy has spent a lot of time teaching my kids, holds them accountable for their actions at the studio, home and school. I wish more dance schools would spend time the teaching the kids the basics of dance, the ins and outs of performing but most importantly my kids are learning about the real world. Jimmy thank you for keeping it real with my son and daughter. My kids loVe the fact that you keep in real with them, that they know when they did a great job based on the work they put into it.
