We had a great experience with Jeff at Tuxedo Den. We needed suits for my husband and boys last-minute for a Quinceanera we had been invited to - we were able to book appointments and Jeff helped us get what we needed. We had the suits within a few days and in time for the event. My husband and boys looked great and felt great in their suits. Would not allow me to go and try the tuxedo on once it was ready. Demanded that it was shipped to me and that I must return it 24 hours later since it was a local event. Which it was over an hour away. I asked to come back in to try it on and was actually told I was not allowed to and the gentleman working said if anything came shipped that did not fit right or not did not come in right then I was welcome back. Long story short everything came creased. Also, the gentleman mentioned that my parents should be able to just drop it off for me / I should be able to get there during there store hours. Acting as if we do not have other things to do in our life. Super unprofessional and had the person I dealt with had a poor attitude like I was doing him a favor for being there. OH ALSO... he made sure to mention to not jump in a pool with the tuxedo on, not once but twice. Would not recommend unless you like being told what you can and cannot do as a customer. Also, make sure you have your own iron / steamer! The reason why I give it even a 2 stars is because everything does look freshly cleaned and that has to count for something. read more

Went to Tuxedo den to buy a new suit. Great prices very knowledgeable owner at the store. He was very helpful in guiding me through the process. He was very patient with me because I was a slightly difficult fit. I've been other places and because of my fit I always felt a little rushed like they didn't wanna deal with me. Jeff never made me feel that way once. For a little shop that is out of the way his phone didn't stop ringing and he always excused himself and got right back to me. Not only did he look great, he has the best fitted suit he's ever purchased at the fairest price. I was extremely disappointed in Tuxedo Den because they gave my boyfriend the wrong tuxedo to wear the day before our prom. I called Tuxedo Den the day after prom and Jeff proclaimed that he would give us a refund. I am very disappointed. Very poor customer service. I went in for a fitting on Tuesday for an event on Saturday. The manager NEVER mentioned to me that the tux might not arrive on time. I get a call on Friday morning, about 30 hours before my event, telling me that my tux order did not arrive and since they do not get deliveries on Saturday I was SOL. Tuxedo Den gave me the impression that they were a well run tuxedo and suit store because the customer service seemed great and the quality of the suits and tuxedos were as well. I went there on May 2nd looking for a tuxedo for prom and I found the one I liked there and I told them which one I wanted and they promised me I would get that tuxedo a week prior to my prom May 14th. However, I left a $100 deposit on the tuxedo and when the date came for the tuxedo to arrive it had not and Geoff told me it would arrive the next Monday May 21st three days prior to my prom, that day arrives still no tuxedo and it arrived the day before my prom on May 23rd. I arrived there to get my tuxedo but with all the stress and excitement of Prom I put the tuxedo on trusting that what I ordered was what I had on and the tuxedo I had on was a navy blue tuxedo and the one I ordered was a light blue to match my date's dress. I did not realize that the mistake was on their part and only realized during prom and the day after prom. I had the tuxedo on for a max of five minutes in the store to make sure it fit and so Geoff could see how he would have to alter the pants to fit me. Neither did Geoff or his tailor Ronnie notice their mistake and I had high confidence in them for the price I was paying of $290 that a mistake of this caliber wouldn't happen. Considering I got the tuxedo the day before my prom. I felt no need to put it on again at home for I tried it on in the store and it fit perfectly I hung it in the closet in the bag it come in. The morning after prom I called and let Geoff know about the mistake he apologized and told me I would receive a full refund. Once I took the 40 minute drive to him he tells me at the store he first claimed he never said that on the phone then the second time he said he only said that because he thought it was a rental and that because it was a purchased tuxedo he couldn't do anything for me because he thought it was a rental tuxedo and not a purchased one he claimed for I could only purchase my tuxedo then Geoff proceeds to deflect the blame onto me for having put on the tuxedo in store but when paying such a high price for the tuxedo I felt as if I could trust them to do their job and do it correctly. I felt as if they were disrespectful and inconsiderate when I told them about their mistake for I only have one senior prom and for them to make a mistake of this caliber. Do not spend your hard earned money here unless you want to be expected to pay for the tuxedo or suit and service but also expected to be responsible for their mistakes as a paying customer. The blame cannot be placed upon me for trusting the store to follow through on their commitment of me receiving the correct tuxedo I paid for and also them being unable to even follow through with the tuxedo arriving on time for if I had a week or even three days as the 2nd arrival was supposed to be to look at the suit I could have noticed their mistake this all could've been avoided but instead I only had less than a day to and that day was filled with the stress of other prom errands that had to be done before 3:30 the day of prom that day. Then to be promised over the phone that I would receive a full refund to arrive after the long drive and to be told it was my fault and the blatant disrespect. Very disappointed in this store. Tuxedos seem to be an easy thing to accomplish. Get sizing, and let someone rent the suit. Not in this past weekends case. I had submitted my forms TWICE online for them to tell me that they never received it. After getting the tux two days before the wedding, the jacket, buttons, and cufflinks were missing from the package, and the pants was the wrong tux. The tux officially came the DAY OF the wedding, after pictures had been taken. After complaining, customer service at Tux Den was not helpful, nor accommodating. As someone who works with clients every day, this is NOT how you do business. You offer a discount, you apologize, apologize, apologize. Will not be recommending this place to anyone, and will also contact the Better Business Bureau on how they run their business. read more

This place is a scam . I payed a down payment for a tux for my wedding when it arrived I was not really happy with the tux and how it fit . The person helping me was very unprofessional saying that I dont have a body for a tux and this is how all tuxedoes will fit me ! I took it home to try on with everything else I was going to wear with it and decided I wasn't happy with it at all . Seems like he got his money from me and didn't wanna hear about a return . One second is you should of came in the next day to return it not a week later next he says there's a no return policy . DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE ! Everything is low quality and made In China. They play it off as if it's quality meanwhile it's 50 thread count suits ! One of the ex workers told me that they buy all there suits and tuxes from China town in NYC for wholesale drives and rip New Jersey customers off as if they are high end. This place simply wants you to pay and forget about customer satisfaction . Make sure you know what size you are and get fitted right at another place because this place just eyeballs you a size and then you'll be stuck with a lousy outfit ! Please save yourself the stress and time and get away from This mediocre scam of a place . I wouldn't even go here for a prom suit forget a wedding . I will be bringing this establishment to court for my 300$ robbery . I wouldn't o payed 30$ for this tux and customer service . Would never recommend this place. The suits that my son and his groomsmen got didn't even match, the jackets were different, some had flaps on the pockets and some didn't. Suits did not fit properly, when one of the guys went for his 1st fitting and put on a shirt it was so tight in the arms. Scotty told him he would have to deal with it since it was the right size!! How do you tell someone that is paying $250.00 to just rent a suit to deal with it. I even called the store to put in my concern and was told that the shirt was the right size and he would have to deal with it. And how do you not have the grooms pants!!, this was discovered on the Tues before the wedding. He got his pants on Friday and had to go pick them up. This place has terrible customer service, does not return phone calls and are very rude. Basically when I brought all this up to Jeff when I retuned one of the suits, he looked at me like I was lying. He tells me he has been in business for 25 years and never has problems. This was a horrible experience! I would NEVER recommend!!! My husband ordered a suit for our daughters wedding. We went to pick up and the pants were 2 sizes too big and the jacket was definitely not up to par! There was pilling all over the one lapel side. They did reorder him and when he went back to pick up they were 2 totally different colors! The OWNER himself told me sorry nothing we can do! Totally unacceptable!!!! They should have checked before they called us to come pick up and his response was; "well there's nothing I could have done anyway" Just what every business order should say! Had issues from the beginning until the very end. The owner called me a liar when I expressed that I was unhappy with the fact that my brother had to wait 2 hours to be measured in store. One of the members of the wedding party submitted his measurements through their website twice and they were never received because "they were going to an email address that they did not know existed". The owner repeatedly blamed issues on his employee Alex, who was actually the most helpful throughout the experience. One person was shipped a child sized jacket and was given a hard time when they wanted a replacement. One person's was shipped without suspenders. One person received the wrong tuxedo and without a jacket because it was on back order 2 days before the wedding. We were able to pick up the jacket in time, but it was the wrong tuxedo and I was blamed for changing my mind without telling anyone in the store which was a lie. We confirmed that everyone would wear the same tux in July. Even if I am mistaken and forgot that this was discussed, don't you think the store should take the time to confirm everything before ordering? Every other vendor we worked with confirmed our decisions two or three times before moving forward. They eventually shipped the correct tuxedo but it was after we took all of our photos. The tuxedos were the most stressful part of my wedding which is insane. Everyone looked great but that had nothing to do with the store. read more
