Psst. I'm kind of picky. (Not snooty.) I simply appreciate quality and excellent service. Tuxido Transportation gets an A+ from me! From the start---Excellent communication, met our request for an SUV (also A+), Lori was waiting to meet/give assistance at baggage claim (no searching for someone at the curb, no lugging bags), and we had a safe, comfortable ride from TPA to Venice. The SUV was plush (just what you want after a long day of travel), luxurious interior, water was waiting for us inside, car temperature was perfect, the music was soft and calming (good choice), and it was smooth sailing all the way to our destination. My husband took a nap--and I finished watching a video, all in PERFECT COMFORT. Normally, we rent a car and make the drive, but not anymore! I recently used their service for a trip from Englewood, Florida to Tampa International Airport and it was such a relief to have somebody driving, especially because I had an early flight and had to leave my house at 4:30AM. If you're looking for a ride to Tampa International Airport from anywhere in the Tampa area, these guys are it. You can stop scrolling and reading other reviews. Lori was just fantastic from start to finish. She made scheduling easy, provided updates on my cell phone, and gave me the driver's name and phone number the evening before my pickup time which really put my mind at ease knowing I could get in touch with the driver directly if I needed to for any reason. The driver was on time, dressed very professionally, and was a gentleman. The car was better than expected. It was clearly freshly washed and vacuumed and the interior was spotless. Here's the best part. The morning of my ride I had a lot on my mind and didn't feel talkative. After the driver made sure the music and temperature were to my liking, he didn't say another word. Clearly he was waiting for me to initiate conversation, which I chose not to do. Now THAT's professional. It was by far the best ride from Sarasota to Tampa ever! Normally the other companies drivers start chatting right away and it's always the same conversation... what do you do? Where are you from? And then they start giving you their opinions on politics and bla bla bla bla. Perfect silence other than the music. There were also five magazines of various interests for passengers and they were current, and of course the complimentary bottled water. These guys thought of everything. My flight was delayed landing in the Tampa airport. The baggage took FOREVER to come out. The driver was professional, patient and helpful. If he was annoyed( and he must have been) it never showed. He made me feel comfortable traveling an hour to my destination. Oh, and it was after midnight! Will definitely use in the future. read more
