I received several preflight text messages confirming the pick up and letting me know what to expect when I arrived. Once I landed, I received a text message with detailed instructions on how to meet my driver, Hernan. The driver met me right at the baggage claim and quickly took me to my car. Full disclosure. Never used this service. Asked for quote for 5 people for a destination that was 20 minutes from Tampa Bay Airport. They quote $220 for a 20 min ride. Other shuttle services were less then half that price. Use this service if someone else is paying and you hate that person. Also every review is a 5 star review. Wow! I was so impressed by the amazing service I received from Mauro and We Drive Tampa. From requesting a quote to dropping me off at my destination, the service provided throughout the entire experience was phenomenal. My family frequently used another company when transportation was needed between Sarasota and Tampa, however, we couldn't get a hold of that company and it appears that they may be out of service. I had to find a company to take me from Sarasota to the Tampa Airport, and due to a family emergency and juggling multiple higher priority items, held off until the last minute. I found myself, the evening before my flight, looking on Yelp and TripAdvisor for a reputable transportation company. We Drive Tampa had amazing reviews, so I reached out via Yelp for a quote. I received a reply very quickly and the price was reasonable. I then booked through their website, which was really easy! You pay via credit card in advance (I think they charge you the day before) and then you just need to bring tip $, although Mauro said that they can always add it to the card, as well. I received multiple confirmations and reminders through email, text and even a phone call. I asked Mauro if I could change my pick-up location last-minute, as I needed to be at the hospital, and was able to text him this request. He was super flexible and accommodating, and was able to pick me up at the hospital instead of where I was staying, and at the same time as requested without any issues. I received texts and notifications when Mauro was on his way and once he arrived. Mauro was early and waited patiently for me to meet him outside. The car was new, spacious and super clear. He offered me water and mints. Mauro is such an interesting person, and we had a great conversation. He is very professional, takes his job seriously, and you can tell that he enjoys meeting clients and likes his work. He also updated me along the way with traffic updates and airport arrival time so that I felt assured that I'd make it to the airport with plenty of time to spare. They have multiple drivers and I feel grateful for meeting Mauro, although since he oversees the company, I am confident that any of the other drivers at We Drive Tampa would be great, as well. He helped me with the door and my bag and even helped carry my bag to the check-in area at the airport. The airline employees knew him and you could tell that he is very well liked! I took his card and plan on using We Drive Tampa for any future transportation needs. I already booked their services for my aunt and when I return to Tampa, I look forward to using this company again! Although I got lucky and was able to book on very short notice, he did recommend that I book as soon as possible in the future. The customer service, booking experience, ride, and driver were all perfect. After a stressful week, it was great to have such a smooth transportation experience with great company. Mauro and partner (Carlos?) are truly top notch! Mauro picked me up at Tampa airport and drove myself and friend to our hotel on Davis Island. I was in town for surgery at Tampa General Hospital and Mauro's careful attention to detail, friendly and professional service, was very calming to me. Mauro was on time at the airport, and his partner showed up promptly at my hotel just before appointed time of 6am Saturday to take me back to Tampa airport for my return flight home. I'd give them a 10 if I could. We Drive Tampa kept me informed every step of the way. They let me know who would be driving me, and in my case the driver assigned was changed... they let me know this in advance of my flight's arrival. My driver texted me with where she would meet me and what she was wearing so I'd easily recognize her. The car was clean, water and candy was available if I wanted them. He drove her from Bradenton all the way to Orlando right before the hurricane. This is a fantastic company with an incredible owner. I was truly blown away by the amazing service, professionalism and kindness from Mauro the entire time. I arrived in Tampa a half hour early last Thursday night and was worried I wouldn't be able to reach Mauro. But he made sure to communicate with me the entire time and it was so easy to find him at baggage claim. (A sign and a smile goes a long way and that is exactly what he had). I was visiting Sarasota for the first time for my cousin's wedding this past weekend. The car was spotless, I don't think I've ever been in a car (BMW!) so clean and was offered water as well, which was a very nice touch. I'm not going to lie, I was very nervous, especially with getting to my hotel in Sarasota from Tampa. I booked this company for a one way trip from Anna Maria Island to Tampa. The driver showed up late to pick us up and drove dangerously on the whole trip. My daughter became car sick and vomited in the car. The driver lied to the owner saying I gave him permission to charge my credit card a cleaning fee. I would have paid to clean the car, of course, but was upset that they charged me without a phone call or email to notify me. When I emailed the company to complain I was told that I had no right to complain and that the driver said I gave him permission. I again told them that I didn't give him permission, and they pretty much blew me off. A simple - "I'm sorry, we shouldn't have done that" was all I was looking for. I would not recommend doing business with this company in any way!! read more
