Hired through Angi to mount our new LG 83 inch TV which came with included mounting. All notification and paperwork confirmed that this is a 2 person mounting job. Allegedly there were 2 companies Angi employed rather than 2 people from 1 company. Again allegedly the other company did not show so Calvin Williams insisted he mount it alone. My wife was in the house: a 5ft 2" small Asian woman, who I assumed he thought could help. In the process of trying to mount it all by himself, he cracked the screen trying to grip it so tightly. Never checked after mounting to see if it worked. In addition, his shotty drilling into our walls were poorly done (screws going in at acute angles and on top of electrical outlets). All communication afterwards was difficult and arduous. I demanded they come back to evaluate the TV and take it down and pack it back up. They scheduled this service for free twice and of course no-showed both times. I persisted and they disconnected their phone line! Shady beyond belief. This guy is unprofessional, pushy and does a poor technical job. AND HE BROKE OUR TV! Now I am fighting with Angi to get my money back. I should be sitting here watching my new TV 2 weeks ago, but instead I have a broken TV sitting in my hallway (which I took down with a friend and packed myself) waiting for LG to take it back. Have waited 6 months for a refund on a service I paid for and never got. No refund, no product or return of my equipment. Got the runaround for months saying they mailed it, then didn't mail it, returned, blamed third party. Never any resolution. Their customer satisfaction concern isn't real. STAY AWAY! We were moving out of state and needed to have three flat screen TV's dismounted and packed into moving boxes. After receiving several quotes, I was convinced by Calvin that their price (albeit slightly higher than the other quotes I received) was due to their "professional service", carrying liability in case an accident were to happen and he promised me that the technician would help us pack our TV's into the boxes for the move. I was very clear that the packing was a concern for me because one of my TV's was a large 75". The day of dismount the technician came and seemed like he was in a hurry. He didn't even bother to help my husband pack the TV's until we specifically asked him to help. Even after asking, he started helping with one but then was rushed to go to the next dismount leaving my husband alone. We would ask again and the same thing happened with all three TV's. This tech barely helped with packing. Well, the sad ending of the story is due to the poor packing job our 75" tv didn't make it. It died. After unpacking it from the box and plugging it in, the TV had a crack in the corner and it extended to the middle of the screen. RIP About 2 weeks later, I received an email saying I owed the balance. I called customer service and told them their technician said the balance would be handled by the office. They were nice enough to remove the late fee. I told the rep about what happened to the TV and they had the nerve to ask me, "Did the technician break the TV?".......obviously not directly. But indirectly, due to the poor packing job, the TV was not secure. This was what I was trying to avoid in the first place!!! Their resolution?? They offered me a $25-30 credit to my account towards my next service. So I spent $300 on three dismounts and a "stellar" packing job so that I can be out $1000 to buy a new TV that was INDIRECTLY broken by them. But hey.....I get $25 to use them again. The fundamental issues I experienced were that they were four hours late for a scheduled appointment. I regret contacting this service from the get go for was high pressure selling tactics, especially from this character that goes by the name " Calvin the Great " so he calls himself. Failed to deliver on dates promised. I declined the order, They have $4000.00 from my credit card and have refused my request to put that amount back on my credit card. They stated that they will charge me 20% of the $4000.00 to reshelve the item. I never received the order. I have attempted to reach them on several occasions. The install went well. I think they maybe have some admin communication issues. I noticed they had the wrong address in the system when they sent me a confirmation, so I reached out to get it updated. I got an email back saying that they updated it, but the morning of the installation, the technician had been given the old address and I had to wait for them to come to the correct place. I contacted them to put up 2 tvs with mounts and an additional mount without the tv. Price and time were agreed upon. Installer Calvin was late. He installed the 2 mounts with tvs and he then suggested he come back for the 3rd mount once we had the tv. As it was his idea, we agreed. Once we had the additional tv I contacted them to have him come back out. I spoke with the office and with an installer who told me Calvin would contact me. I did NOT receive a phone call, instead I received a new invoice. I had to call again to speak to Calvin. When I told him he never mentioned additional charges for a return trip he told me they weren't required to inform, it was in the contract. If we had known this we would have had him install them all on the first trip. This is a shady way to conduct business and we don't recommend anyone use their services. read more

We had 2 simple TV mounts for an 86" and a 77" TV. The first issue was that they were unable to show up on the scheduled day to install. I received several calls to push back the time and then it might have been late at night and it was changed to the next morning. Calvin was supposed to arrive between 8 and 9 am but did not show up until 9:30 am. The 86" install was fine. The bedroom install did not good at all. They screwed up the drywall on one side of the mount- a 4' diameter problem and the screw on the other side is sticking out at least 3 quarters from that side. This was not brought to our attention at all. Calvin said that he had to go to Home Depot to "fix something". That was when we saw the damage. I thought that he would have told me what happened. As he was leaving, I asked and showed him the damage. He said it was no big deal as according to him the damage wasn't an issue. It is to me as we are in a brand new home. He should have told us that there was damage and I honestly thought that he went to Home Depot to repair the damage. I complained about the damage on the website. I do not want to have them come back to try to fix it as there is no trust here anymore. I want to hire an outside person to come in and fix it. Calvin was delighted with that prospect as he told me if we went with an outside person to repair all of the damage that they caused, that they are not responsible for any damage.
