Large state park with numerous activities from camping to hiking to water activities. There are varying restrooms available throughout the park. We came by this park but didn't stay very long. We had a nice walk along the beach and it was low tide at the time. It was a beautiful warm late afternoon at the time in the middle of the week. It was nice there wasn't a crowd. There are quite a few parking stalls available.

Stayed here for camping July 3-July 5 on site 7 and 8 with another family. I do not recommend tent camping because the sites are very small and close together. It usually is small at state parks but this is the worst I've ever seen. There were several RV campers parked there and it's mixed with tent campers. We barely had enough room to fit our tent because we were surrounded by RVs. The campsite is across the street from the beach and park side so there is no view in any of the camping spots. Twanoh beach itself is beautiful and I'd recommend going there for day trips but not the actual campground.

Beautiful park. Spent the day here with friends. Great facilities and clean. Park benches with charcoal grills and only one large fire pit by the beach. If you have your shellfish license then there is a plethora of oysters, mussels and clams to pick; just have your tides correct. You also need a Discovery Pass.

Great Hiking for families. Take water and sandwiches and take the high trail for being in the middle of a beautiful forest. Great camping and a beach for Kayaking and for swimming for the dogs

Great hike, up the hill, good workout. Just as nice as the Olympic East side. The campground looked fun. We didn't stay, so can't say much about camping. But there are some amazing looking camp sites by the stream on the West side. The beachside was clean and the water looked amazing. Trails are well kept, canopy and trees make for a shady walk. I would go back and camp for sure.

The Park was really nice and not crowded on the weekdays and theonly thing was the restroom need a some renovation.

Loved camping here. Was afraid there'd be Mosquitos but came away without a single bite. Very clean, nice employees. Peaceful and quiet with respectful neighbors. Recommend! Tip: we liked the sites toward the back of the park. More woodsy and a heck of a lot more privacy. Some of the sites have water and electricity. I think it costs 10 bucks more.

To save our trip to the Lake Cushman area, we popped into the Skokomish Park area and paid the day fee and for an hour on a double passenger kayak. The water is so fresh and clear, very clean! The views once you're on the lake are breathtaking. We enjoyed our kayaking journey and chilled for a bit exploring the rest of the grounds after. It's a great, quiet, and safe recreational area where you can spend the day or overnight camp. The rangers in the office as you check in and the guys that help you with the kayak are all friendly and helpful. It was a great experience and we definitely plan to come back!

We stayed two nights in the walk-in camp area and it was fairly quiet and cool. This does seem like a party/large camp out type of place. The trees by our campsite were hacked and had burn marks, but still growing if that makes sense. You can rent stand up paddle boards and kayaks at their shop. I didn't partake but my partner did. Next time I'll probably go for a kayak. The lake is gorgeous. Clear water, had a swimming area, some picnic tables scattered around. At night you can see the milky way which I love love love to look at. The bathrooms could use an update as they were very dated, dingy and some of the locks don't work. They do have coin operated showers though, which looked decent.

No working GPS or signal, and I had only booked this place on Expedia prior to my trip, since everything in Forks was fully booked. But let me just say... I ended up LOVING it! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything I could possibly need... Fireplace, WiFi, kitchenette, fridge, TV... you name it! I especially loved all the windows that let in tons of natural light, and the porch out front was such a nice touch. The staff at the office were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even offered me an upgrade for just $15, which I really appreciated. The location itself was absolutely stunning... Surrounded by mountains and overlooking a beautiful lake, it felt like the perfect escape. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this cabin is it. I was not disappointed in the slightest and honestly can't wait to come back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Washington is truly a beautiful state and staying here just solidified my opinion.

Rain Forest Resort Village has fireplace cabins and suites, Village Inn rooms and a RV Campground. They gave me a room with a balcony that had a gorgeous view of Lake Quinault. I enjoyed waking up to the sunset over the lake. The room was nice and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Next to the front desk at Rain Forest Resort Village is a small general store that has pretty much anything you may need. There is also a gift shop and laundromat. The staff here is great and very welcoming. They pointed out a couple of hiking trails for me to do that were nearby. I was able to do the Quinault Rain Forest hike and the short hike to the World's Largest Spruce Tree near the lake. Lake Quinault and the Salmon House Restaurant are across the street from Rain Forest Resort Village. The downtown area of Quinault is just a short drive away. Merriman Falls isn't too far away either if you want to check that out. Overall, my stay here was wonderful and relaxing. You can't beat the gorgeous views of Lake Quinault from your room.
