We walked through a very cool looking shop, newly painted with cool artwork all over. Friendly workers all around. Brooke started by getting me comfortable after she put the stencil on my back. She is very meticulous and wanted it to be perfect for me. After many check-ins with the different stages, it was done in one hour. I'm so happy with my tattoo and will be back again for the next.

I messaged Crystal on Instagram, and she was quick to respond, enthusiastic about my ideas and input. Scheduling was just as quick, within a week. She did text asking to postpone a half hour to finish her prior client, which I respect as quality art takes time. She obviously takes care with her work, as she presented me with the most adorable reinterpretation of my reference, save for the words so that I could select a font. She also wanted to check for size and placement before making the final copy, keeping me entertained with a lively conversation. She's Uber friendly with people skills and artistic talent, a double punch that would have me considering flipping through her flash book or 60 dollar gumball machine roulette if I wasn't saving my limited canvas for future ideas. (She does take that into account as well.) While I waited, I relaxed in the inviting space, complete with couches and plants and candles, a custom playlist hitting the right part of my punk soul. There were shirts and pens and signs to shop and paperwork to sign off on while she copied my ID. She has a gentle touch, allowing me to sit comfortably with only a mild tingle of the clean needle. She covered me with a dermaskin to last a few days while going over aftercare. While my bill was only 150 total, including deposit, I left a tip because I am over the moon with my new permanent art. I swear, girl is called Crystal because she is a real gem.

The color work is phenomenal and I am so jazzed about how well my tattoo is healing. I had gotten my back dermals pierced by Mandy she was super nice at first. They started messing up…read morereally really bad. I had went back to the shop and another employee took a picture and sent them to her - no response, same thing happened again - no response. Had to search for her number and reach out she didn't even offer to take them out and didn't even give a partial refund when they messed up because of her and she tried to blame it on the healing process. Literally got recommended to go to express yourself (they were amazing) by someone in the shop who also said what she was doing wasn't okay and had to go to cowpok (also amazing) to get them out. She fully ghosted me and didn't even offer anything. Both of the other piercers I went to confirmed it was faulty handling and inappropriate length jewelry. I was thinking of going back up but I don't think that would do anything. Everyone else here seems nice so I would only go for tattoos NEVER GO HERE FOR A PIERCING.

I reached out and scheduled an appointment. Communication was clear and there was a deposit upon scheduling the appointment. The over all price was a bit high for me. But for the size and detail of the piece I believe the price was very fair. Upon entering the building it has kind of an open space loft kind of feel. With a small art gallery and prints and stickers from local artists for sale at the desk. Gabe was attentive and took me to a table to get my art that I wanted done and work on the design a bit more. The communication was on point the whole way through and about 5 hours later I had a wonderful new tattoo to remember my cat by. Its one of my favorite tattoos and healed really well with the second skin.

Once Cody had posted new openings on Facebook in the spring of 2022 I knew I had to jump in. He had been a little late for our appointment day of, but had let me know about 30 mins before the appointment. So communication was really good! The price for the gumball and a reroll wasn't all too bad and I ended up with a really cool piece of work. The atmosphere was pretty relaxing, and after we had talked about pokemon and design, he worked on the design while I grabbed lunch. Conversations weren't all too bad, I'm awkward when it comes to keeping a conversation going with new people so any awkward pauses I chalk it up to me. Care instructions were pretty straightforward and its one of my most colorful tattoos, it healed really well! Can't wait to go back for another tattoo soon, and I also can't wait to check out their new laser removal machine. Will update my review when I get around to those.
