I ENJOYED THE BEST DIRTY CHAI LATTE OF MY LIFE HERE. I'm always on the quest for local coffee cafes when I travel and Twenty Below exceeded all expectations. I didn't have a great experience in North Dakota, but this was seriously the highlight. Months later, I still talk about this chai. I wasn't able to visit inside (had our dog, so my husband went in) but there are plenty of tables on the sidewalk patio. It wasn't a long wait for our beverages and he did come out with whole bean too (which was very much enjoyed at home). The locals seem to like this place, which is a good sign. But if you happen to be passing though Fargo, do yourself a favor and visit here first! read more

We were passing through Fargo on a family road trip and decided to make our way to Twenty Below! I'm so glad that we did! The coffee was out of this world and we each had the yummiest light breakfast. The egg sandwiches were BOMB and the goat cheese toast was my youngest daughter's fave thing ever. She still talks about it. The little shop next door was so fun to browse and everyone was so kind. Highly recommend! read more

Great service, food and coffee with locally sourced ingredients. The decaf americano was smooth with a hint of earthiness. The house made granola was excellent, nutty flavor not at all sweet and perfect paired with unsweetened yogurt. The "my favorite" toast was a thick slab of bread made from local flour with sharp cheddar, local sprouts and 2 poached local eggs. My husband said it was one of the best breakfast toasts he has had. We were bummed that they are not open on Sunday as we wanted to go back while we are still in town. read more

This was my first time visiting the coffee bar. I ordered based on reviews I had read beforehand and was absolutely not disappointed! The Three Bears Miel is probably now my favorite beverage. I use Three Bears Honey in my coffee + tea at home so I was excited to hear a local shop uses it as well. The breakfast plate is amazing! If you're not a coffee or tea person, this dish is worth the trip in and of itself. Will absolutely visit again. read more

I really adore this place and sad I don't live closer. They clearly care about quality and pay attention to the details. Had a great Ethiopian pour over (so glad I could find a great pour over) and my friend had a Kinnick (maple cinnamon) latte, which had nice balance, sweet, but not too sweet. Best coffee I have had in a while and the food was delicious. I had a Cortado and ate a My New Favorite. Both were amazing! Ingredients were obviously very fresh. Fav cozy coffee shop in Fargo. Great place to hang with a friend and play a game of chess. Cappuccino was hot and had a good flavor. I stopped by here earlier this morning with my wife and her parents for our morning coffee. My wife had singled out twenty below the day before because she saw that they had a smores latte or something like that. So on the day that we were headed out of Fargo we headed downtown first. The inside of this place looked nice and we were quickly greeted by a nice barista. While we were perusing the menu he asked us what we normally got and we replied Americanos after which I quickly ordered one. My wife ended up ordering a Nutella mocha because she didn't see the s'mores latte on their menu. I can vouch that it is still a drink that she loves and so it wasn't a problem for her. After placing our order we headed over to a table and waited for a few minutes. With our coffees in hand we headed out of the shop and towards our car. After giving it sufficient time to cool I tasted my coffee and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee tasted fresh and if I wasn't mistaken it was a single origin too. The reason that I say this is that it was skillfully roasted to the point where I could still taste some of the earthy flavor of the origins as well as a tiny bit of sweetness on the finish. I absolutely loved it and would be more than happy to get a coffee like this every day! The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. This place is stupid good. That means really good. Like really really good. The staff is ultimately wonderful. The strawberry rhubarb scone was fluffy, and dare I say moist. Twenty Below is a coffee shop with a heart and soul. Oh and they also prepare and serve some awesome coffee, the best waffle I've had and amazing baked goods. The space is very different than most run of the mill coffee shops. For starters, they have a coffee bar like a sushi bar where you can watch your drinks being made and interact with the 'barista'. They have comfortable couches and community style benches with free wifi. In our case, the owner Mike made my caramel latte and we chatted about pretty much everything under the sun. What stood out was how humble Mike is but also his involvement with the community. The caramel latte and the blueberry waffle are some of the best I've had. The waffle was served with goat cheese!! Who would have thought that the two would go together so well. They make their own caramel in house and it certainly reflected in the taste. The waffle and some other baked good are gluten free. The entire menu is intriguing and I would love to try more of their offering on my next visits. read more

My first coffee out in nearly 4 months... and Twenty Below hit it out of the mark! It tasted so good to have a latte again, and the service was friendly and I felt safe being there based on the masks and the distance of the customers. My boyfriend and I split a cookie - so good - and we brought some dark roast beans (frackin the brackin!) back home to Minneapolis. The beans made a great french press at home, and next time we pass through Fargo, I'll stop here for coffee and more coffee beans again. read more

Underwhelming. As soon as I walked in the barista was "WHAT CAN I GET YOU?!!" followed by "WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE?!?" when I didn't answer. Like lady I haven't even looked at the menu yet. Ordered a medium decaf kinnick, which is a maple and cinnamon latte. $7.26!!!! Ouch. Drink wasn't decaf and it was tasteless. I tossed it after a few drinks. read more

Excellent coffee and atmosphere! The Kinnick was a lovely sweetness with the spice of cinnamon just right. My go-to at new to me coffee shops is a lavender latte to see how they sweeten/get the flavor just right. It was smooth and refreshing! The strawberry rhubarb scone was out of this world yummy, with a wonderful frosting. The fancy ham & cheese was just that - fancy and delicious with perfect sourdough. I came with my coworkers right around 6 am! The girl opening was so friendly and bubbly. She absolutely made our morning!!! There was a good amount of people coming in; however, she still made sure to check in on us and keep us updated on our order. This place had an interesting vibe. You have boho and industrial lights with rustic shiplap walls and scary alternative art on the walls. My lavender latte was easily the worst I've ever had and the worst part was that it took literally 14 minutes to get 2 lattes when there was no one in front of us whose drinks had to be made first....unfortunately will not be back. read more

My mom ordered a cortado & bar from the bakery case and I got a cappuccino & raspberry white chocolate scone. The barista was extremely friendly and had a great attitude for the 6am opening shift. The drinks were well made and the bakery items from the local bakery were delectable! I would definitely recommend this shop if you live in Fargo or if you are just passing through! read more

Great coffee place with a modern and hip character. Visited during "movie character day", and the server was dressed up as the guy carrying the baby from Hangover, so pretty sure the atmosphere here is pretty chill. The specialty drinks are pretty awesome including Fargo Fog, which is a twist of London Fog. Three Bears Miel is made with local honey. They also roast they own beans in house and there are 4 blends or so for sale. Arts on the wall are from local artists for sale! Very cool Midwest landscape lithographs and photos. read more

Twenty Below is the best coffee shop in Fargo. The coffee is wonderful! So far, I've had the chai and the turbinado caramel latte (both versions over ice) and several varieties of their pour over (black). Everything is delicious. Next on my list to try is the mocha made with locally made Terroir chocolate. They also offer an impressive selection of treats. My favorites are the macarons and the blueberry waffles. I think a touch of lemon juice in the glaze would have made the flavor pop and using some egg white would help it set without needing that high ratio of sugar/liquid. It was worth a trip and if I was craving a donut it'd work but I probably wouldn't seek them out.

The weather was perfect and their patio is quaint & comfortable as it is surrounded on three sides by 2 story brick buildings - which gives a different vibe than you experience at other traditional patios in Fargo.

I'm not an avid coffee drinker, but I enjoy this place. There are places to plug in a laptop for studying, but there are also a few comfy chairs to chill in. The air temperature is noticably warmer than it is outside or even in other businesses, which is wonderful on cold winter days. Also, the staff is friendly. I forgot a sweater, and they were very willing to keep it safe for me while I was out of town for multiple weeks. This place has an artsy cabin vibe and finds ways to be unique. My friend ordered coffee and was given a mug and a pot-worth of coffee in a glass vial rather rather than the standard coffee pot. There's a gaming shop next door and a comic book store two doors down if you'd like to plan an afternoon of it! read more

The staff is absolutely wonderful and very kind. The atmosphere is calm, and I can see myself spending hours in here. The coffee is some of the best I have ever had. My belly was far too full after brunch so I went to the bakery side after and bought a chocolate raspberry muffin (also the best muffin I've ever had), chocolate chip cookies (darn near ate them all in one setting) and poppyseed thumbprint cookies with a raspberry filling (jaw dropping).
