ScotiaHVAC explained what was required for the program and helped get us set up. Then they installed all the Novair equipment in a day. We had a 200 amp electric upgrade done as well and Jeremy and his crew were wonderful. The Novair heat pumps work amazing and the heat output is better then we expected. All in all a very good experience.

Each time, I've been told by Krista that "someone will call you back." Not once has anyone actually called. Two separate technicians have come out, given me two completely different explanations for the problem, and then disappeared without follow-up. No repair date, no update, no resolution. What you can expect based on my experience: No follow-through on service calls No communication after initial contact No urgency even when equipment is under warranty and completely non-functional Conflicting information from technicians, with no accountability This is not simply poor customer service -- it's a complete disregard for customers and their contractual obligations. They listened to our wishes of Air Filtration, and their solution works amazing, it is the Lennox i comfort PureAir S Purification(basically a crazy bright light that kills virtually all bacteria in the air, which is located in the airhandler). I find that their Techs are very knowledgeable and experienced, and do what they say they are going to do. I highly recommend MasterTech based on my personal experience with their Installation.

I had a service call with Shines Energy when the tech took the unit apart, there was a blown fuse…read moreto the fan motor. The technician told me he did not have any fuses to change the fuse to test the rest of the unit. ($ 200 service call ) He told me there was a issue with the fan motor and i was quoted at over $1300 to replace it (which I priced out the motor and bracket that i was quoted for from a lg dealer at a price of $160 for both while pricing the fuse) The technician told me the rest of the unit could not be checked until the fuse was replaced. (Which was a $5 fuse to buy and a 2 minute job which I ended up doing myself other then the opinion below ) They wanted a additional $125 plus tax plus parts to replace the fuse or do it myself and not know if anything else was wrong until motor was replaced or book another $200 service call to find out. Called the company and talked to a service manager about the issue he wouldn't let me get a word in talked over top of me the whole conversation to the point where I hung up..... He called me back and I told him the reason I hung up was I couldn't get a word in to explain the issue... nothing was resolved with him so I called another company explained the situation and they are going to come by and do a full diagnostics they were great and will be getting my business. Would not recommend this company to others after my experience FYI I sent a email to the company to talk to someone before writing this review and nobody ever contacted me back

I also asked him where the filter was for my heat pump but he couldn't tell me. He also left the panel off my heat pump when he left. He said that he would have to schedule a more experienced technician for days later. I did not agree or want a follow up appointment, so I canceled it and went with a company that could diagnose and fix he issue. This company was still trying to charge me $200 for the visit. I explained to the owner that the technician was not able to help at all but he still demanded payment. I have the technician admitting this on my nest cam and sent him the proof. He still threatened to send me to collections. I also have that phone call with him recorded. He also indicated through a bbb form that he would have charged more for the second visit which seems like an outright scam. Avoid this company at all cost. They verified with bbb that they send technicians that are not knowledgeable but still expect you to pay $200 for "your heat pump needs next appointment. Called HHP they came so quick. They were so friendly, had all the tools they needed, found the issue, contacted another specialist who was here not long after that. He arrived...again super nice easy to deal with. Found the issue got the unit working and ordered parts. They transferred our account over to them no issue. Were up front about costs and what might be charged. So far IMO great customer service, friendly staff, and awesome to fit us in so quick on a Friday afternoon. Apparently these are the guys that Costco is using now.

After a Couple of hours on site with himself and two technicians and charging me $300.00 plus taxes he couldn't come up with a fix. He told me he would need to reach out to his supplier and another tech in the industry . After he said he consulted with them his fix to me was to replace the heat pump and oil fired furnace. I won't go into that cost if was to say it would be North of $10,000.00 at minimum. Today I had someone look at the heat pump after about 10 minutes he had a fix with a part that would cost about $30.00. My heat pump is now working.
