If I could give EWC 10 stars I would!…read more I am a first time waxer, other than my eyebrows, so you can imagine how nervous I was lol. With the Covid restrictions, you have to scan a code to let them know you are there. Once I scanned, I was called in within 5 minutes. I walked in and the establishment was spotless. It was clean, bright, and inviting. Both young ladies behind the desk warmly greeted me (wearing masks and social distancing of course). They easily picked up I was nervous but assured me I would be fine. My (now waxer going forward) Madeline was beyond amazing. She was super through, gentle yet concise. Besides doing a perfect job, she kept me engaged and distracted so I wasn't nervous lol. She explained exactly what she was going to do and was super professional yet friendly! I would 1000 percent EWC and if you can snag Madeline, definitely do so. She legit made a convert out of me!! Thank you Madeline and EWC!!!

Gave one face waxing and said they would refund $90 if I would pay them $90 in February. Their business practices are questionable. I would not recommend doing business with European Wax. Definitely do not allow them automatic payment of any kind. This center was in Tottenville ,Staten Island,NY I do not recommend doing business with this location and question other locations and their practices

The language barrier is a bit rough, when the owner/techs doesn't understand what a customer is explaining and gets upset and becomes rude. The other issue is what's up with just offering lotion instead of massage the customers hands like every other nail salon. Before they would even massage your back after finishing your nails while drying. This salon has lost its ability to stand out. The only good thing is that it's close to home.

My personal favorite is the powder because of how long they last, and my nails almost never break when I have it on. However all three were done well and lasted as long as you'd expect them to. My personal favorite part of the trip is my pedicure. They have a basic pedicure, but I always end up going for one of the spa options. They have a ton of different options to fit your personal preference, but I usually go for the aromatherapy pedicure. It includes a 10 minute leg and foot massage. I tried gel polish for my pedicure for the first time today, and I can say I'm a fan. I'm hoping it'll last even longer than my usual pedicure polish. Every part of my trip is always relaxing, and has me looking forward to my excuse to pamper myself.

I've been coming for the last 2 years and the whole staff, from the receptionist to the owners are such a pleasure to interact with. I use Felisita for my nails (usually gel-x tips, if you haven't definitely try them soooo cute) she's great with nail formation and just elite with designs (I'm one of those detailed ones and her nails never disappoint). For my toes I use Nohemi usually but all the ladies do their thing. This place has good back ground music and the aesthetics are so beautiful. I always leave here feeling as pretty as the place. Anytime I come the filled with clients men and woman, cute couples, besties, so definitely make appointments. Their prices are fair especially for the quality they provide. I'll see you there.

Angela and Penny were able to color correct and rehab my hair after an over process of highlights I received at another salon in Florida. Penny and Angela had my hair back in shape pretty quickly - I followed their protocol (no hard sell of products - just advice on how to properly care for your hair). After a few months of hair rehab, I wanted a low maintenance way to smooth my hair. Penny suggested OptiSmooth treatment. Angela did an amazing job doing the treatment and now my hair is so smooth and not crazy, even in humid conditions. I love it. It's so Low maintenance now. I truly appreciate that Penny really took the time to get my hair healthy first with a good hair care protocol. I love the way Angela cuts and colors it and her blow outs are amazing. Adalina is also a great manicurist - when I have time I like to get my nails done and a pedicure too. It's very convenient that you can do hair and nails in one place.

It has been a few months, and I'm so happy to report this nail salon is still extremely clean, polite, affordable and talented. It's small, there's a separated room for waxing, three or four pedicure chairs, and four nail stations. They sanitizer all their tools in a special machine and are constantly washing tools after use and putting them in. This makes me love this salon even more, because one of my biggest worries with nail parlors are their sanitary conditions. There's three girls who work, they're all extremely sweet and the owners husband is occasionally there to do pedicures. Yes I am one of those women who is a little weirded out by a male giving me a pedicure, but he does an amazing job! I love how they do tips, they're not thick or chunky and I have always gotten compliments with the work they do on my nails. I've had a few people even believe these are my real nails. They're very real looking and thin, but remain strong and I can go more than two weeks without a fill in with no concern of tips falling off. Although everyone's nail chemistry is different, so I wouldn't recommend pushing the time limit on a fill in for everyone. They also offer a frequent costumer card, which is worth it so always get it signed when you get your mani pedis done! Love this place would definitely recommend.
