The lady working the shop is very sweet and opened up the second shop for us to browse around in (if she's working alone, she'll switch up her location based on where the customer wants to look.) Many of her treasures are ocean inspired and perfect little souvenir reminders of your trip to Bodega Bay. My purchases included a vintgage design starfish keychain, a seagull patterned scarf and a silver octopus wall hanging that I used to display jewelry. The antique stores in the area are great, but I feel like Mondern Antiquarium has the widest range of categories. Not only do they offer the usual spread - dining, clothes, old tech, ornaments, stationary, random smaller knick knacks, etc. but they also have larger curiosities like coin lockers, road signs, a large letter "P", etc. My favorite is that they also have a space for partnering with artists, e.g. a section for old books that have been repurposed into journals where I picked up a cute journal. Be aware that if you're coming in during the summer/autumn months that it will be very hot inside!

I was unable to speak with an employee at the time and can't seem to locate a working phone number or I would call. I also stopped by a second time when the shop was closed hoping to see the birds had gone home with someone and are there only during the day but possibly let out at other times. Sadly, there they were, in the locked store, in their teeny tiny cages :( If anyone from the shop is reading this I implore you to consider the well being of these creatures and how you would feel in a space so small.
