She said how the shoes she got were like running on air and never felt more comfortable in a pair of running shoes. Visited Hansons on a Friday evening and was quickly greeted by a worker. I told him I needed some new running shoes. I took off my shoes and got on a machine that analyzes the pressure points you have in your feet. I was surprised to see that my pressure points were in my heels! I also got my feet measured to ensure my right size. I sat down and the worker got me started on 3 different shoes. All 3 fit perfectly and felt amazing but he told me to start walking around the store and comparing the shoes. The worker let me take my time and was not pushy. I asked to have a 4th pair to try out but quickly resorted to the pair I tried on first. I was happy with my decision and the shoes felt like a hug for my foot. I have never been so comfortable in a running shoe before! I got a pair of Brooks and the cost was $120.00. Sure, it is a bit much for a pair of shoes but my commitment to running and the support I needed was well worth the price. However, other shoe stores run similar prices but the customer service at Hansons is well above the rest. My first run with my new Hansons shoes could not even compare to my old shoes! I was able to run a lot faster with my new running shoes since I had the correct support in my heels and overall felt supported. My legs also did not hurt after running like my old shoes. Hansons has a lot of other great products besides shoes! Exercise clothing and other accessories. I would never go anywhere else when I need a new pair of running shoes!

My friend was looking at some of the baby clothes and most prices were between $1-5 per item which wasn't too bad. All of the clothing either looked brand new or very gently used. We did not see any stains on anything. They did have a small section of toys as well. The lady we spoke with at the register was very nice and she was helpful. The store was super clean.

What to do with your kids clothes and toys that they do not need anymore is a real life problem as…read morea mom. The concept of Once Upon a Child is brilliant but there are a lot of cons to it as well. Kind of got to curb your enthusiasm with this place. If you are selling - you are only allowed to bring in so many bins/laundry baskets full of your things. Garbage bags are not allowed. Lately this store has allowed 2 bins to try to sell. Each store is different with how they will take clothes that you want to sell. My favorite is carrying a 20 gallon storage bin and barely being able to open the door - all your pride is out of the window trying to open that door along with your bins. Staff barely acknowledge your presence. There is a kiosk that you have to enter your driver's license in the back of it and this inputs your information. It lets you know how long the wait will be. Depending on the day, I have waited an hour but other times it has been hours and hours, might as well come back the next day. The staff will then hand you your receipt and tag your bin. I try to stick around to shop so then I can use the 15% off coupon they give you when they buy your items. The store is packed - shoes, clothes, books, seasonal items, and toys in between. Most clothes I see are being sold for $7 or less - mostly $5-4 is usually the items I have bought. The clothes are clean and I feel for fast fashion, cheaper to buy here then on Amazon. I asked to see what clothes they took out of curiosity and the staff was adamant that I had to keep the clothes in order of how they were laid in their bin. This store seems to like sports gear like a Lions or Tigers shirt and name brands. The most they have taken from me was 23 items, last time I went they took 16 items but I had my 20 gallon storage bin that was full. You can ask for either store credit or cash. I usually try to buy things while I am there to just make it a wash and use the 15% coupon with my transaction. One staff member was amazing in my many times coming here - otherwise, no customer service and staff seem miserable working there. But as a mom - not left with many choices. There are consignment stores in the area but I don't have time for that. I usually donate my clothes to the Grace Center of Hope - Women and Children's Center. Good luck, moms!
