The food trucks are located in a small parking lot but it's so popular because THE FOOD IS MOUTH WATERING. It's a chill, food hang out spot for locals. The staff is so nice too!! But the food... is delicious! I ordered a quesadilla, tuna tartare taco and my husband had steak tacos. The quesadilla was cheesy good, My husband said the steak tacos were delicious and he's sooooo picky with food. But the tuna tartare tacos were my favorite, Like an explosion of flavors on my tongue and I cannot wait to go back to have some more. I begged my husband to try it, because like I said he's so picky but he caved in and did. He was like WOW OKAY. I'm like this is why you had to try it! Very good tacos on the edge of wynwood. Classic Mexican street taco style. I was hoping to try the al pastor and the steak taco as well but they weren't available when I went. I settled on a short rib taco and a ground beef taco.... both were flavorful, fresh, and we'll seasoned. The woman working was very friendly and warm. Prices are great ... ranging from about $3 to $5. It's a food truck that is located in a parking lot next to the luxury pawn shop... slightly obscured by the highway bridge it's parked under so it's easy to miss.. so suggest using GPS on ur 1st visit. Swung by Twice Butter as part of a self guided tack tour and thought it was a solid spot! We ordered a variety of tacos, including carnitas, al pastor, and steak. They were pretty good especially when paired with their hot sauces! We also ordered their Twice Butter burger.. expected it to be amazing, but it was just okay. Ate here last night! My friend and I migrated from Coyo Taco (endless line for comparable taco prices) to the food truck park (nothing below $12 for anything) to this truck. Great call stopping here because it was SO good for so much less. We probably waited for much less time than any other taco truck or place in Wynwood! My friend got a carnitas quesadilla ($8), and I got 2 tacos ($6.40 overall), of one fish taco and one short rib taco. The fish taco was a little more heavily breaded than expected, I found myself asking where the fish was for a second. But the queso like sauce and fresh shredded veggies made it come together nicely. The short rib taco was a-mazing, with super tender short rib marinated in a sweet sauce and topped with pickled jalapeño and red onion. I was taken aback by the sweetness of the marinade at first, but then it went well with the spice and mild acid of the pickles. It was a nice aside to have a few tortilla chips to munch on in between my tacos. I asked my friend whether a food truck can still call itself one if it won't move--the trucks in the Wynwood Marketplace are absolutely not budging the way they are situated with the structural surroundings---but I don't care anymore. Highly disappointed. The food prices are high for the size of the food. I have posted half of my torta next to the small ketchup container for reference. We order two tortas and a taco, they forgot to pack our taco and when we called to either get it fixed or pick it up no one answered the phone. Was craving fish tacos and Yelp led me here. Parking was not easy to find and expensive so best to visit to area if you're already in Wynwood. Fish Taco was fresh and loved the Chipotle sauce on it. For the more expensive shrimp taco it was bare with only onions and cilantro and had less flavor than the fish taco. My friends and I were so hungry, so we stopped by and ordered short rib tacos, Fish tacos, al pastor tacos, grilled skirt steak burger and a Bbq short rib burger. Each taco costed about 2.99-3.99 and each burger was 9.99. These were pretty good prices. They take about 15 minutes to prepare. Man, we got home and literally stuffed our faces. The food is always great, one of my preferred places to get tacos from. Today I came to get tacos as I do every blue moon and they had new cooks working the food truck. From taps to tacos, there is a nice lengthy, yet not overwhelming menu for eaters of all types. I do not like red meat or lots of saucy items on menu's, and Twice Butter had a veggie option that was outstanding to me. See my photos below and know they have options. My wife tried the salmon taco and equally enjoyed. Again, since I am not big on saucy items, that was less than thrilling to me, but I am sure if I had asked for without, the chef would have obliged. Getting to the chef and the experience, the folks who run and own Twice Butter are great! Very warm and inviting, they are there to meet and exceed the needs and desires of each appetite. The pricing is also a great point of interest. I admit that I find a lot of food trucks to be overpriced, for the food, even when it is made to order and very fresh; however, with all the aforementioned being the case with Twice Butter, their prices are very modest and affordable to say the least. I do hope to try different items the next time I see the black, butter logo truck roll through, and perhaps the check will create even more interesting and fun menu items.
