We've walked to Twice Cream three times so far this summer and have had a pleasant experience every time. It's a cute spot tucked into a nice little neighbourhood. It's busy every time we come but we always get served in a time and friendly way. Last time we brought a whole bunch of family with us with small kids. The staff were patient and kind as we figured out what everyone wanted. My favourite so far this year had been the salted caramel. My mom says it's her favourite waffle cone ever! The quality of the ice cream and the variety of both traditional and more creative flavours is on par with other small batch ice creams shops in the city. It's worth checking out for sure. read more

Came here for a treat. Street parking. Staff was very kind and was agreeable to samples. Lots of cool flavors. I love the sampler idea! Was more than enough for 2 people. Wish you could get smaller portions as 4 scoops is a lot of ice cream. We tried the Cherry/lemon, Tres Leches, Salted Caramel , and Match Mint chip. Cherry lemon was 6/10, not as strong of flavors as I hoped. Tes Leches was 6/10 very light/no flavor. Salted Caramel was 8/10 - almost too salty but great in combination with other flavors. Match mint was 9/10 good. Overall texture of the ice creams was 10/10 - very creamy, rich, smooth. I also sampled the banana honeycomb and it was 10/10. Just banana pureed but the honeycomb was such a sweet addition. Nice atmosphere to hang out and eat inside or outside on the big picnic table. Overall pretty happy with my experience here. read more

Twice Cream is a delightfully sweet spot! Tucked in a little ways but a lovely area to walk around and there's a kids sand park nearby. I loved right away that it was tucked in with outdoor seating and sidewalk chalk. Inside there is an eclectic variety of seating and small tables as well as a bathroom. But let's talk the main event which is the ice cream. And oh my goodness I was not disappointed with the variety of flavors. Options too for the vegans. Our lactose intolerant friend enjoyed the Vegan Banana Honeycomb - it was like eating a banana bread in ice cream form. Our kids enjoyed a kids sized cone ($3.50) of the Bourbon Vanilla. Hubby had a waffle cone ($1) single scoop ($5.50) of the Matcha Moroccan Mint Chip- not as matcha forward but the mint was so different tasting and tantalizing to the taste buds, perfectly paired with the chocolate this one was the fan favourite for everyone in our group. And we also had a single scoop ($5.50) of the Mayan Hot Chocolate which was an amazing vegan flavour I thoroughly enjoyed. Rich and a little spicy, the weather was cooler today so it felt like a perfect cool spring day treat. Earlier in the day there was a huge ice cream event and I was curious to know what flavors sold the most that day and interestingly enough it was their rotational item: Key Lime Pie - which you can only get this month of May! And I sampled it and it was like a delicious Key Lime Pie in ice cream form. Tart and sweet. The other flavor that was a hit that day was their Dark Cherry Lemon Curd ...so next visit I'll have to make sure I give that one a try. For a Sunday afternoon it was busy with a line but there was still seating available and we came with a pretty large group. Parking is nearby and plenty of room on the street for bikes! read more

Delicious little ice cream shop in the Westmount area. I came here on Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. There is some parking along the street. There were about five people ahead of us in the lane but it moved quickly. I wanted to try their dark cherry and lemon curd flavor, however, they were sold out. Instead, I went with the seasonal lychee and the banana honeycomb. I love the banana honeycomb, which is so strange, because it is vegan! The lychee was nice and refreshing but a bit icy. I prefer ice cream that's more creamy than I see but it was still tasty. They have a nice seating area outside and a few seats inside as well. I will definitely go again, and hopefully be able to try their dark cherry lemon curd flavor. read more

A unique ice cream store in the heart of the Westmount neighborhood. I have been here a couple times for ice cream or coffee. Once I started talking to the owner, I realized what detail and care he takes to put into his homemade ice cream. He will use expensive, real ingredients. His flavours are very unique and delicious. I never thought I would like matcha mint but it's now my favorite. I also really appreciate that he has vegan options. The honeycomb banana is very tasty. Cute little neighborhood icecream shop! It has a vintage and colourful vibe to it. There is no seating inside but lots of bench seating outside the shop. There were lots of flavours to choose from and also seasonal flavours. They offer kids, single, double scoop and quand taster. I wanted to try many flavours so I orders the quad taster $9.50 so I could try 4 types. The flavours I chose were the seasonal mango passion pavlova, strawberry balsamic and the regular Brazilian Canadian coffee and Tres Leches. OMG. Bestie let me have a little of her fu-fu vanilla, and later, gave me a full half pint of Candy Cane around Christmastime. It's AMAZING ice cream. Super creamy with great mouthfeel and incredibly exotic flavor combinations. I need to come in here myself for more, but I just lost 60 pounds, and I'm still going. I do plan on stocking up soon. I was sooo excited when I saw a new ice cream shop was opening in my neighbourhood and I'm glad to report that Twice Cream did not disappoint. The store itself is styled like a vintage ice cream shop. It is colourful and cozy. I love that the entire front wall can open up to fill the space with fresh air and light. They have a list of standard permanent flavours as well as a pair of rotating ones. I've tried a few and so far my favourite is the vegan banana honeycomb. It is the creamiest vegan ice cream I've ever tried and the flavours aren't overwhelm by the base. I also really liked the rotating "Pride Scream" which unfortunately is no longer being served. Here's hoping it comes back next year! There has been a little inconsistency in service during my visits. Usually everyone is friendly and the line moves quickly. However, a couple times I've stopped by, the POS wasn't working to take credit and debit cards. The 2nd time it happened, there were two people working, the second didn't offer to serve customers who could pay with cash, they just stood around waiting. After watching some customers walk out, I asked if cash was an option and was able to pay and be on my way. I would like to think this was a one-off issues that can be chalked up to opening jitters. I'll post another review in a couple months and I'm sure at that point they'll be up to 5 stars. read more

New little ice cream shop in the westmount area. Cutely tucked away and across from a park. Gives off an adorable and quaint old school feel - like an old one stop shop general store. Much like many of the more newer ice cream shops, they have original flavors and make their waffle cones in the shop. They also have vegan options, which have a more creamy dairy like texture to it opposed to a sorbet like texture. There are sitting spots (picnic tables and summer chairs) outside the building so you can hang out and visit or meet other locals enjoying their sweet treats. If that's not your thing, there is also the park across the street that you and friends/family can enjoy your ice cream at too. A really nice thing about this spot too, is that it's within the scooter/bike zones so you can grab a scooter and head over for a treat and then continue on your adventures. read more

Tried this last night with the hubby and definitely wasn't disappointed. The flavours here are creative and well done. I personally prefer a creamier style of ice cream rather than a more crystallized milk version, but Twice Cream hits that nostalgic mark with elevated flavours that bring the whole package home. read more

I made a special trip here due to all of the rave reviews I was reading online. The first thing I noticed was how cozy the place is. It looks to be a converted garage, with a patio and lots of chalk art on the pavement. An entire wall is filled with sweets and other fun things, and there is a cooler with specialty pop and other drinks. But the main star here is the ice cream. I had a single scoop split between two flavours, the tres leches cake and the rosewater pistachio, which is one of the specialties here. I'm not a huge fan of pistachio but the unsalted nuts worked well with the rosewater ice cream, which is a flavour I have enjoyed before but is not common. The tres leches tasted heavily of coconut and had cake bits. The two flavours worked well together. There was one vegan option, and a couple of rotating flavours, and about eight "forever" flavours. Service is a bit slow - there was only one person scooping ice cream and there can be line ups on hot days - but Twice Cream is worth seeking out. read more

It was a bit odd when the staff told me there is caffeine in the coffee ice cream (I didn't know that was a question lol) nice portions, 1 scoop is more than enough. We stopped by for nice cream after dinner. Apparently all the ice cream is made on the premise and from natural ingredients. Ice cream was creamy and full of flavour. The ice cream scoop was a generous size. Waffle cone was fresh and crispy. Price was average for ice cream cones. It was nice to have seating outside the store to sit and enjoy some ice cream. I highly recommend if you are in the area if you are looking for some dessert. read more

To begin with, I understand why there is a long line for the establishment, and it's not due to flavor. We noticed there was only two employees, however, one of the employees did all the work and the other stood there until you paid. I feel like this is extremely inefficient. Not only that, but I was extremely disappointed as all I've read is amazing reviews raving on about the flavour. When I was finally able to order, they wouldn't give any samples so I went ahead and ordered what I presumed would be very flavorful. When I got my ice cream I could HARDLY taste the flavour. My partner unfortunately had one vegan option and he was also very disappointed with the lack of flavor. The only thing that had flavor was the lemonade we purchased from the cooler.
