Trust the 1-star reviews. Hands-up! You'll be robbed. Everything previous reviewers have written about this shop is valid. The owner and her staff are rude, not responsive, not transparent and treat consigners with complete and total disdain. My bad! I thought after meeting with them it might be different. Big mistake! I thought they were professionals who knew and understood the resale business and I trusted them with pricing and sales. Don't ask for or expect any updates verbal or written on your account. They're either nonexistent or an inconvenience. There's no system to sign-in and get an update. They don't send out consignment statements, not even when they finally make a payment. Dark ages! We had our 10-piece luxury outdoor furniture refinished by the manufacturer, complete with a new $250 glass table top. Then we realized it no longer fit our remodeled outdoor space. Calls and emails to Consignment Solutions went unanswered so we visited the shop and spoke directly to the owner. After meeting with her, we were confident that their Leesburg Pike address meant this would be an ideal location for selling. We're not new to consigning. Yes, we read the Agreement before even visiting the store. We paid the owner recommended moving company $300 for pick up and delivery to the shop, Several days after the delivery we called the store for an update. Only then did we receive one email stating the following:  "The list shows the date the items went on the sales floor, the item numbers, a description of each, the starting price of each, and the status of each (none has sold; all are available for sale). 4/8/2025  - Dining Set / RndBevGlassTopTbl/4Chrs, $799.00, Available 4/8/2025, - Chair / Metal Chair & Footstool, $299.00, Available 4/8/2025, - Chair / Metal Reclining Lounger, $299.00, Available 4/8/2025, - Table / RndBevelGlassTopEndTbl, $199.00, Available 4/8/2025, - Table / RectBevelGlassTopEndTbl, $199.00, Available Please refer to our Consignment Agreement and Policy for information on our markdown schedule, special sales, and the sharing of proceeds from sales." THREE DAYS later, 4/11/2025, they sold these items for 50% less than listed in our Agreement. They couldn't bother to let us know!? Typically, items in this store are marked down every 30 days. Why was this done after only three days? Standard practice for markdowns in most consignment shops is every 30-45 days. Did the owner, her friends, or one of the sales people get a great deal?  We were never told that the owner decided to have a one-day, 50% off patio furniture sale that included our newly listed items. During a store visit two weeks later we were simply told that our items had sold and that we'd receive the check from the sale the next month. All the other outdoor furniture on the floor at the time we first visited remained unsold. Strange. Seems ours was the only furniture that sold at 50% off. Today, two months later we received a check for $431. Do the math.We've been robbed!! read more

I visited this store and was impressed by the inventory. I wanted to consign some items, and was told you must send an email with pictures. I did so twice, once last year, once in the past couple of weeks (using the link on their web site) They never, ever respond to emails or voice mails left to follow up the emails. It's fine if you don't want the stuff, but at least have the courtesy to say so. Not sure how they're getting anything they're selling if they treat everybody this way. read more

This business is a very cool concept but for the life of me - I cannot begin to understand why people are rating it highly for value? I have gone here no less than 10 times within the past 5 years and every time I leave the store buying nothing because their prices are so high and for USED items. Do the owners forget that these items are used? You can find very similar pieces online for less and brand new! It's beyond me! They do tend to have some nice items in store occasionally - many items are very dated or old fashioned looking - so it's hard to find a diamond in the rough - but when you do - be prepared to pay a lot for it. Many items seem to sit for months without selling and I don't wonder why (way too expensive). I see an item and I'm like "oh that's cute" - I look at the price tag and I'm like "nope!" - I can get that cheaper at Home Goods - lol The staff is friendly enough but seriously they need to reevaluate their business pricing model. read more

This place is ridiculous. Most of the stuff in there is ugly and outdated, and the prices are still outrageous! You'd expect a bargain here, but much of the furniture was still in the thousands. I was able to furnish my new home at Grand Home Furnishings in Winchester and at my local World Market for very similar prices with NEW furniture that had modern designs. If you're going to sell older, used stuff, it should be at a bargain price. The pricing system in itself is sort of dumb. They have a starting price, which on most stuff is around $1k. Each month on the same date, the price will decrease some random amount until four months later when, if it's still in the store, it'll be available at the cheapest possible price, but usually only $200-400 lower than the starting price. There were several things in the store that had 2012 prices on them still, meaning no one wanted them even at the lowest price. You'd think they would therefore lower the price a little more until they sell something, but they seem to stubbornly not care whether they sell anything or not. Despite all the uselessness I found in Consignment Solutions, the staff was very nice. But even that annoyed me -- they were TOO nice. Three different employees asked me if I needed help about 2-3 times each. Perhaps they could communicate to one another or just leave me alone once I say I'm just there browsing. read more

Why I ever stop here to look at furniture I'll never know. You might as well just got Ashley's as the prices are the same. I never had an issue with anyone being unfriendly or rude, just the ridiculous prices. As an example there was a $1000 sectional that I might have been interested in for $400-500 MAX! I guess I am just too cheap for this place. Don't come here looking for bargains. read more

It appears that there are some bargains to be had here if you are the buyer. But the treatment received as a potential seller is less than impressive. The store takes 50% of what ever they sell your furniture for and you have to make your own arrangements for transportation to their store Thy must approve in advance your furniture before they agree to sell it and you must send photos for them to approve After over a week the has been no response. I even went to their store and twice and they wouldn't even take the time to review the photos at that time either. I have finally given up trying to work with these people. I think one is better served selling on Craig's list. read more

Extremely rude owner who isn't very clear on the sale price for your furniture you would like to sell through her. Bad communication,you don't get the money for sold items unless you ask and then it takes a very long while before you get your measly amount. As for buying,mostly outdated junk,but some great newer furniture thrown in. We bought a few classic type furniture,beware of the delivery people. They are NOT movers,most likely someone she hired off the side of the road. It was nerve wracking to have the shelving unit delivered,the buffet was another story. Three holes in the wall and her handyman didn't show up for two months,after calling repeatedly. read more

We did very well shopping here, but if I hadn't caught it on a 50% off sale, I would have agreed that it was a bit expensive, hence 4 stars and not 5. (And with the 50% off price, I thought it was basically a steal.) They went above and beyond in terms of helping me load an uncooperative piece of furniture into our van. I thought everyone was friendly. Large selection; it's way bigger than you imagine from the outside and wandering through, I found plenty to consider. read more

This store has a large variety of furniture but the staff isn't friendly. Second time in here and staff didn't speak to us at all. It's a large store so you have to make at least two trips through to see it all. My mom and I walked by an employee (she passed us twice) and she never spoke to us. I won't go back. read more

Great store! Love it and have found so many treasures here for my new house! Great quality and I love the owner, Rosemary! The items are priced when they are put on the display floor. After about a month the price goes down a certain %, then it goes down the same smount in about another month. Then the final markdown is in @ another month -- it is 1/2 of the original asking price, the trick is keeping tabs in the dates when the item will be marked down. I like to wait as long as possible and go in on the day it is marked down to the lowest price. You have to be a gambler to do that! I've lost out on a piece once, playing the "waiting game" and someone buying it before it was reduced to the lowest price. But I have purchased 4 major items at their lowest figures and saved a bundle! The owner, Rosemary, has another store location by the same name in Manassas. Both stores have all the furniture staged in room type situations. If you purchase a piece of furniture and don't want to pick it up for a while, you can store it at Consignment Solutions for $25/mo. If you have no means to transport it home, Rosemary will put you in touch with a mover who will deliver up to 3 pieces to you for $120. I am expecting a delivery this week of 3 items (one "item" is 7 piece wrought iron patio set. So a "set" counts as one piece. If you like furniture and you like a "deal" , go often because the inventory is constantly changing! I have made many major purchases here, and I love them all! read more

Hands down the most overpriced store I've ever seen. The owner asks that you send her pictures of the piece of furniture, then you have to physically bring the furniture into the back door to drop it off. She specifically stated to me that she doesn't price it until it goes on her showroom floor. So, you spend the time sending pictures, bring it to the store, and have to wait until she puts it on the showroom floor, before you know the price SHE states it will go for! Yes, the process does say she will enlist your thoughts on what it should go for, but she has the ultimate decision. They take 50% of the sale. Seriously, 50%!! Then, she marks the price tags with all the prices for the next 90 days. Of course people will wait until the lowest price comes around on the 90th day. Yes, they could lose out on the piece, but it's worth it to save the money. When I was asking questions, she seemed like she was so put out. Like if I didn't like it, she could care less. Very arrogant business owner. Her: "I've been in business 11 years and it seems to be working". It does? I hardly ever see anyone buy from this place and certainly the parking lot is empty most of the time. I drive by this place everyday a couple of times each day. My background is from the restaurant industry and I can take a lot of rudeness from people because I can u Dee stand more than most people. However, right out of the gate, the owner was put off by my questions, rude, continued to go about her business as I was speaking with her like I wasn't there. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with this place. Go elsewhere. You'll be better served in the beginning and the end. read more

Walked into this store and wanted to turn around the minute we entered. The staff at the front desk greeted us, then proceeded to tell us they were closing at 6pm and that they have been there all day and wanted to leave. Sorry not sorry....If you sign up to work retail, you sign up to work weekends and give customer service. Meanwhile there were still other customers in the store browsing around not being rushed out. I'll never go back. I'd rather go to a real furniture store and buy a whole new bedroom and couch than buy their old furniture. I didn't even see anything impressive by just glancing around for 5 minutes, don't waste your time. The staff is rude. read more

My wife and I spotted this on our way *out* of Leesburg, where we had been hoping to find reasonably priced but still fancy-looking chairs to go with our new somewhat-fancy probably-antique dining room table. Of course, Consignment Solutions had a *much* broader selection of chairs than any antiques store we saw in Leesburg. We found a pair of decent chairs that matched the table reasonably well, at an excellent price. (Yes we were ideally looking for more than two, but these will do for now.) The staff were helpful and polite, explaining to us on arrival how their tag system worked. They had two guys carry our chairs out to the car, and they were polite and careful not to scratch the chairs nor the car. Overall we're very happy, and intend to check out their Manassas location next weekend for more chairs. My only suggestion for improvement would be if they would continue to take monthly markdowns after three months, even if it's at a slower rate, to help the long-term sitters move. read more

You will have no idea what's in this store till you walk in. I thought it was going to be dirty and dumpy, I was SO wrong. My wife had brought me there and as a mans point of view, it's well beyound my expectations. The lady that has helped us with many of our design questions was supremely helpful and she actually knew what she was doing. She fixed the table that we bought right there. There was a couple scratches on the side. She made the table we bought even better looking! I don't know how she did it but thank you Dawn SO SO much. We stop by once a week now, they always have new items. read more

NOT PLEASED. My experience here was AWFUL. The woman behind the counter (blonde, short hair, bad attitude) was extremely rude to my sister & me. She was condescending when explaining the pricing system, and was even ruder when asked about the potential of price adjustment. I 100% respect and understand that some businesses are unable to negotiate price further but you don't have to be uncivilized and rude when talking to a customer. The prices here are outrageous. I found that the one lady "in charge" isn't friendly or customer service oriented. There is no negotiating the exaggerated prices. Even at the labels lowest prices, the furniture is still overpriced. Terrible business model for selling used furniture, and I am baffled that this place is still in business. The used furniture isn't that quality to command such prices without negotiating. I saw customers walk in and then leave with nothing. The exterior store front and parking lot looks run down. The interior furniture groupings are set up nicely, but everything is so overpriced that you will walk out annoyed that you wasted your time. The store is clearly more seller friendly than buyer friendly. If it were my business, I would want the product to move quickly with reasonable prices and not have it linger on the floor for months, but to each his own. I love this store!! Its the hidden gem for all of us who have a decorating itch and it beats Home Goods and all other furniture stores by a MILE! Don't let the name fool you- they have plenty of new stuff! You can find amazing bargains on furniture, rugs, lighting, accessories etc. They get their inventory from model homes (how many times have you walked over and just loved the way the decorator did a room?) which means they have the whole matching look! I recently bought a padded Queen Headboard (which would have cost a fortune if I had to buy it elsewhere or have it made) and a gorgeous hand worked wrought iron side table - both for less than $300. Expect to run into private decorators who shop for clients there. You have to go frequently as their stock changes. They also accept consignment furniture. Last weekend I saw two gorgeous Moroccan rugs, one hand was hand embroidered, plus fabulous lighting and a wonderfully (new) but Vintage looking 1950's modern leather chair for a few hundred dollars.
