I'm new to Michigan and this store was suggested by management of the new apartment complex I moved into. I needed to furnish a completely empty apartment and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I was able to find for my home in just one trip. Twice New has items in every category of home decor in excellent condition. I was able to find an entire bedroom set that was brand new at half the cost of anything I found in other furniture stores I shopped in. They also have a very friendly staff who is always willing to help. One of the best parts is that they have free delivery if you live nearby. They were able to deliver a whole truckload of items that I bought from them in one trip. The boys who delivered my furniture were incredibly patient with me as I asked them to place the heavier items in different places until I found an arrangement I liked. I've also had some good luck consigning my own items with Twice New. They split 50/50 and get a lot of foot traffic so my items have sold relatively quickly. I haven't tried it yet, but from what I understand they will also pickup furniture from you and then split 55/45. Owner closed the shop. Found out via facebook that I had a limited time to pick up my consignment items. Final check they wrote to me for my portion of the consigned goods that had sold came back NSF. Tried to cash it directly at the stores bank and there are still NSF in the account. Will be seeking restitution through legal system. The portion of the funds received owed to consigners should have been placed into a separate bank account. They were not operating funds. The signature on the bad check was Barbara Warren. Thankful Genesee County still has a Bad Check Restitution Program. read more

Bright, open and airy describes this consignment store. Prices are clearly marked making no room for confusion. They sell quality items at very reasonable prices. They have a healthy selection of furniture and haven't overdone it with knickknacks. I will be back for shopping adventures. read more

Twice New Consignments - Home Decor Near Me - Fenton, Michigan

I shopped here frequently and purchased SEVERAL items. Today I went to return a $50 desk because it was too small for the space in my daughters bedroom. I felt it was overpriced as it was but decided to get it. I did not have my receipt yet they were able to look me up in their system so they verified I did purchase this desk. The woman there was absolutely unwilling to make the return because I missed their return date by ONE DAY! I will now never shop their again. It simply seems customer service is gone and loyal customers like me can completely stop shopping at a store yet the workers and owners do not care. BEWARE!! Twice New Consignments do NOT follow their own policies. My husband and I were interested in a chair at this shop so we stopped by. My husband told the owner we were interested and asked how much it cost. There was NO tag on the item. The shop owner said they hadn't priced the items from an estate sale yet. She said she would look up the chair and call us when she got the price. In the meantime she placed a TWENTY FOUR HOUR HOLD on the chair. Jim told her not to bother calling him because he would be back in the morning to get the chair. At 10:15 the next morning (well within the 24 hour hold time) my husband returned to the store. He was told the chair had been sold the NIGHT BEFORE!!! The owner refused to make the situation right...her own 'policy' meant NOTHING. BEWARE...she has no loyalty, integrity, or commitment to her customers. Please Share this incident....we are beyond angry....SHAME on her.... read more
