I have seen her bridal bouquets and they are hands down some of the most beautiful bouquets I've ever seen. Her talent is amazing! I have used Beth for my wedding, which turned out amazing. All of our guest asked where we had got our center pieces table and seat covers. She does amazing work I use her for everything. It's nice to know I have a florist I can trust. She has always given great prices. I have never had communication problems with her ever. read more

If you read the review from 2011 you would hope the service from Twiggies would improve. It hasn't. We wanted to go local for linens etc for our daughters wedding so chose Twiggies. First meeting went well and our daughter and fiancé were excited with Beth's vision. She said the quote would be finished by the end of the day because she was waiting for Valentine flowers to be delivered. I stopped by her shop three times in the next two months looking for the quote. Beth always had an excuse for being too busy even tho she said our quote would be very easy to do. The last time I showed up she took a sticky note and place it on her lap top to remind her to do the quote. Promised to have it done on Monday. Nope. Went elsewhere and was extremely happy with "Decorating by Heather" in the Bath area. read more

I had a very similar experience to the other review. After my initial meeting, I left excited and felt confident that she would be able to deliver everything that I wanted. I should have known that things wouldn't turn out the way that I'd hoped when she rolled her eyes when I told her the price that I was looking to pay. She never even bothered to give me a quote. Emails and phone calls were never returned. I took my business to All Grand Events which specializes in things just like Twiggies....linens, decorations, flowers, invitations and set up and delivery are all booked through them. When you're a bride and are thinking of deadlines and planning ahead you want someone on your team to support you and make you feel at ease...you will not get these feelings from Twiggies read more

I always try to call local florist when purchasing for our employees. But not only was I disappointed in the service I then was unable to get a receipt. I asked for one to be faxed and was told that they were not able to do so. They stated that they would e-mail it to me. I confirmed my e-mail address several time but never received the receipt. Being a business and having to account for expenses I called to again have a receipt sent. She was very short with me stating that I was LUCKY she was even in the store because they were preparing for a bridal show and that she would have to look into it. I again confirmed the order information and my e-mail address but three weeks later have still not received a receipt. read more

It's difficult to rate a business's work when they're so poor with communication that they don't even allow you the opportunity to work with them. But that's exactly the situation I was in. After a meeting regarding plans for my wedding, I walked away 100% excited about Beth's vision and confident in her work. Over a month later, I hadn't received a quote but didn't think anything of it because she had said it would be a while due to holiday business. Eventually I emailed her, as it had been well past the three weeks she had estimated. She finally emailed me a quote, and it was completely incorrect--listing items that we did not want and not including things that we did want. I contacted Beth and she asked me to revise it and email it back to her. I promptly did just that...and then didn't hear from her. Several emails over several weeks time later, I was so irritated by her failure to respond that I finally called her. She was incredibly short, rude, and did not own her failure to communicate at all. Quickly, she tried to pass the blame and tell me that I needed to send her the revised quote and I said that I had done that weeks and weeks ago, and gave her the date that I sent it initially and then resent it. I told her I wanted to put down a deposit and be done with it (since it had probably been three months since the initial meeting) and she said she'd get me a revised quote. Never happened. I finally found someone else who wanted our business and left that initial meeting with a typed quote, deposit down, and 100% confidence in them. I wish I wouldn't have wasted all that time and energy trying to get someone to value me and my business. I'd save yourself some time and stay away from Twiggie's for your wedding. read more
