I had been to at least four florists before I arrived at Twigs. Three were closed, and the fourth one literally left me standing in front of her largest arrangements and asking her questions so that I could choose one, to serve a man who wanted a $10 flower. After waiting several minutes for her to finish talking with the man and the person who would make his arrangement, I decided to leave for better service. At Twigs, I found both beautiful flowers and excellent service. There were several arrangements from which to choose for my particular needs. Note to self and to others: Just go to Twigs First. I recently attended a wedding here as a member of the bridal party. I thought I would write a review from this perspective. The venue section is very nice. We appreciated the use of the bridal suite, however the company should consider adding lighting for the bridal party to be able move between the areas. Three members of our bridal party fell at different points in the evening (none of which were intoxicated). The flowers were gorgeous and the provided decor was simply stated and gave a very romantic feel. The chairs and linens were also very nice. The food was excellent, I was very impressed to be honest as wedding food often is bland. The mashed potato bar had a great variety, the seafood offerings were nicely done as well as the appetizers prior to the dinner. The bar had beer and wine with pretty standard offerings. One might consider the above posting to warrant a higher star rating, however the remainder will address this. As an outsider I heard so many fanatic things about this venue, the flowers, etc from the bride I was very excited to attend. The staff completely ruined the experience for me. Starting at the rehearsal- the staff was not positive or even kind. We were ushered in and out almost like cattle at an auction. I chalked it up to it just being the rehearsal and wanting to get us in and out. For the wedding the attitude didn't change, frankly it got worse. While I realize the individuals are not going to be as excited as those involved in the joyous occasion, their attitudes shouldn't be so negative it causes a guest to write a review. The bar staff were genuinely the only polite staff members I encountered. My personal perspective- find out who does their food, order your flowers and have your event elsewhere. read more

We had our wedding at Twigs Tempietto at the beginning of December and we COULD NOT have chosen a better venue! It was almost a 1-stop shop with Twigs providing the venue, most decor, flowers, food, and alcohol! They also had recommendations for other vendors (who were also amazing!). I'll break it down by each facet that Twigs helps with: Venue-beautiful permanently tented space with tasteful chandeliers and a gorgeous stone floor! Our wedding day was extremely cold and rainy and the closed tent sides and heaters made it SO comfortable. There is also a spacious and beautiful bridal suite that accomodated myself, 7 bridesmaids, coordinator, and 2 moms very well. Decor-We used complimentary lanterns, floating candles, and iron trees for decor and they looked stunning! There were also candles everywhere, which made it very romantic. Flowers-We met with Sam to discuss the wedding and flowers and the flower estimate was exactly where I wanted it to be (Sam helped me make sure we stayed within budget) and they were also beautiful! My bouquet was exactly what I wanted and the corsages and bridesmaid bouquets were gorgeous. Food-The food was AMAZING. My guests are still telling me how good the food was! It tasted fresh, the staff were awesome and brought my new husband and I a plate when we began eating, and we had a lot leftover which was packed and given to us! Alcohol-We chose 3 beers, a white wine, and a red wine for our alcohol. Our estimate for alcohol was extremely reasonable and we actually got money back after the wedding due to the guests not making it to the estimated value! We also had 2 bottles of wine waiting in the bridal suite for when we got there, which was fantastic! The only cons I could note was that the venue does not open to the wedding party until 2 hours before the ceremony, which made things feel a slight bit rushed. But we got ready at a salon and then just got dressed at the bridal suite, so it worked out! But the venue was beautiful and exactly what I wanted and the staff (especially our consultant Sam) were truly wonderful! TLDR: Highly recommend! read more

My aunt passed away and we were from out of town. Had the viewing and funeral all in 1 day. Ordered $300 worth of flowers from this place. We got a wreath with sunflowers, roses and some greenery. Got to the funeral home, saw it and threw it in the car and took it straight back to the florist. Literally had to leave the viewing! The florist didn't offer to fix it unless we paid an additional price. Brought out additional flowers to show us and they looked like crap. Told them we wouldn't ever be back. Took the arrangement and left. Went to Publix, spent $25 on more flowers to add to it. Luckily, we got back in time for the funeral. Will never rely on this place to provide flowers for anything. Save your money and embarrassment! read more

I order from Twigs often, mostly for sympathy and get-well orders. I prepaid and ordered an arrangement to be delivered, but when they said at 12noon they wouldn't be able to deliver that day to St Francis (yesterday), I didn't mind picking up the arrangement. The person on the phone said she would have an arrangement ready by 215pm. I told them that 3pm would be fine, and she responded that if I needed to come earlier it would still be ready at 215pm. Fair enough. My day was super crazy so I didn't arrive until 4pm. Upon walking to the door, there was an associate standing in the doorway looking at the weather situation. It was a bit gusty. I said to her that I had never seen wind like this before. As I approached the door, she shut the door in my face. WHAT-THE-RUDE!!! I then walked towards the right to pick up my prepaid, pre-ordered arrangement. The associate is helping someone with kiwi vines, so I wait. Never do I receive an acknowledgment, but I know the drill and it's 2019 and customer service is not what it used to me. I find an opportunity when she is not talking to the customer and simply mention that I am there to pick up a prepaid order, but she obviously wasn't going to enlighten me to think that she will be with me in a moment. She comes back out to say that it will be a few minutes. After the said few minutes have passed, I asked why is it taking so long because I was on a time crunch. She said, "I don't know, you'll have to ask Mary". Well folks, Mary is no where in sight to ask. Alas another group of minutes has elapsed, and,so I ask again. They said their designer left early that day. Fine. The designer left early, but the flowers were supposed to be ready at 215pm and no one considered making a phone call. Listen, Twigs. You position yourself to be the premium floral service of Greenville. If you are going to charge premium prices then please offer premium service. As of now, you're in the weeds. All that said, floral arrangements here are beautiful, but there is a slew of talent ready to take your spot. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! We felt we were being chased out of the store by a male sales person who made us uncomfortable and who treated us horribly. Twigs has been my go to florist for 12 years. I was waited on by the rudest male salesperson I have ever encountered. I was lectured on some imaginary line I shouldn't cross when I was looking for flowers (which I only did once), given many nasty looks, and even had a room (one customers are allowed in) closed off from us and he miscounted my silk stems an overcharged me even after I asked him to verify the count. This is especially disappointing because they don't do refunds. Now I am stuck because of his inability to count. We arrived at 4:15 on a Saturday afternoon. We were the only customers in the store at 4:45, we were wrapping up our purchase. Apparently when they want you to leave they close up rooms/areas so you will leave. I spent almost $300. I was a worthy customer at least worth leaving a door open to the area I had just selected a vase from. No second looks for me I guess. My advice if you have to go to Twigs go well before closing and don't deal with the male clerk, take your purchases to the fresh flower area. I believe you get what you pay for and I love the quality but I will start searching for a florist that appreciates me as a customer. read more

We had our son's rehearsal dinner here and it was absolutely fabulous! I can not say enough good things about Twigs Tempietto. The staff is like family and went of their way to make our night magic. The food was the best I have ever had. Chef Ashley blends flavor perfection with perfectly cooked meals. The atmosphere is beautiful. Our night was spent in a sheltered outdoor garden complete with chandeliers, fountains, twinkling lights, and fresh flowers. You choose your decor. They handled everything and all we had to do was enjoy the perfect evening. Our guests are still talking about the food and the atmosphere. We had a wonderful evening and they did it all. I would give a ZERO if I could. I am extremely disappointed with an order I received today. After finding recommendations for this florist from several online and personal sources, I thought this florist would provide beautiful flowers for a baby shower I hosted locally. Because I am out of town, I spent a lot of time on the phone and even traded text messages and emails with pictures on the types of flowers I wanted. I felt confident upon placing my order that we would have beautiful and simple center pieces for this baby shower. When I went to pick them up as scheduled at 10am this morning (Saturday), no one was at the store to open it. The lady arrived 10 minutes late to open the store despite my questions ahead of time about being able to pick the flowers up immediately at 10am. She finally arrived and pulled my arrangements out of the cooler. The arrangements were not as expected - very sparse, only had 6 droopy and browning blooms each, and very limited greenery. I immediately voiced my displeasure and my surprise versus the pictures I traded initially, and the response I received was along the lines of "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" There was no offer to help or rearrange the flowers until we asked for added greenery to beef them up. I called the primary store later today to discuss my disappointment, and when I explained what I received, I was initially told that I had been given the incorrect size (smaller than what I ordered). However, later in response, the store told me that what I received was normal for these specific flowers, which I had never requested. I was told my order was this size and sparse because I had requested more expensive flowers, which was untrue. The communication provided was clearly not upfront and very poor from the start. I was told there was nothing that would be done for me. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I would never endorse this business and will continue to steer people away, primarily because of the way I was treated in response to my displeasure, which was backed up by picture correspondence in advance of my order. read more

They think way too highly of themselves. I gave them 2 stars because when you get fresh flowers from them, they are high quality and beautiful. I recently picked up a silk arrangement for someone else. I've seen other silk arrangements by them and usually found them beautiful, but what I picked up was sad. Given this person spent $100 on the arrangement, I couldn't believe the poor quality of silk flowers and greenery used. Some of the roses were falling apart. Others were very small dollar quality roses I see at craft stores. The greenery was cheap and plastic. Overall it looked thin and sparse. read more

Twigs is a place that "gets" it! I work in Charlotte, NC and sometimes I need to have floral arrangements delivered locally in Greenville, SC to our associates. I like being able to call Twigs and place my order over the phone, pay for it and know that the end delivery will be a show stopper. I will say that Twigs isn't exactly "tech savvy" as I asked them if they could contact their delivery driver to see if an arrangement had definitively been delivered or not and I was told that they don't have a way to do that. (Really? no cell phone?) They depend on things being written on a board, which I find a little unsettling in 2014, but hey- they still seem to get the job done and our recipients are always delighted. Twigs arrangements are beautiful and their customer service is wonderful. I ordered the Twigs Trio in lavender to be delivered for my moms birthday but when they arrived she sent me a photo of pink flowers to say thank you. I called Twigs and they immediately sent over the right color flowers and apologized for the trouble. Turns out my mom liked the pink better than the lavender anyways and decided to keep the pink ones! I give them 5 stars because the mistake was harmless and fixed in a timely manner and my mom loved them anyways. I will definitely be ordering from Twigs again! read more

Kate was nice to work with and helped me figure out what I needed for my wedding flowers. They were beautiful and delivered on time. However, I paid around $100 for delivery, and the woman who delivered them did not speak with anyone. She didn't talk to me, a bridesmaid, anyone working at the venue or anything. She just put the order on a table and left. I didn't know which bouquet was which, which bout was which. Thankfully our order was correct and we figured it out, but what if our order had been wrong or incomplete? I should have been allowed to confirm the order before the deliverer left. Very disappointing experience. Won't be using again. First off I asked for the delivery to go to my wife before 12 bc she leaves work mid afternoon, they were not delivered before she left and I felt like an idiot asking her did you get a surprise at work today. Secondly I wanted to order some star gazer lillies but was told they didn't have any. Was told they had beautiful regular lillies. Turns out her arrangement had neither and I was told I didn't order a large enough arrangement to include the lillies, which was not made clear when ordering. Maybe others have had better luck but I will be trying someone different next time. read more

Used to love coming here for lunch before renovations - they change their menu but their prices have gone up considerably. Their lunch used to be $9 and included a dessert bit - not it is almost $13. Huge price jump. This could be a one time incident but the day we went we had to asked waitress to come and take our order - not friendly at all. I've had a bouquet from Twigs sitting on my desk now for over three weeks. It was beautifully designed - and by that I mean not your usual round mound of flowers, but genuine and interesting style to the arrangement. But what has amazed me is the quality of the flowers. I mean... when does an arrangement last for more than three weeks?!?! A couple days ago I threw out the flowers that were wilted or dried and consolidated the good ones down to a smaller vase, but those ones are still beautiful. I used to work as a florist, so I know quality flowers and design and Twigs has both! Highly recommended! read more

The flowers were never delivered that day though she was there all day. Since it was no longer her birthday I asked for a refund on the flowers she never received which they refused to give me. this is an amazing flower shop. the staff are very knowledgable and exude southern hospitality. they have excellent taste as well which is a must when shopping for gorgeous flowers. perhaps the best part of this shop is the two cocker spaniels who greet you and help you make your selections. we needed a hostess gift and found the most gorgeous silk arrangement that everyone thought was real. they also have a shop in the Westin in downtown greenville which is worth checking out. i guess there is another one in a nearby shopping center as well. read more
