One of those was One Tree Cider. They bottle and are widely distributed all over Washington state so I've been aware of them for a while. One flavor that had me intrigued the most was their Lemon Basil cider. I do love basil and lemon! But truth be told I thought the cider was very sweet... too sweet is likely because it was difficult to taste the basil or the lemon. I know with a certain touch of the cider itself and those two primary flavors could be balanced and featured evenly as I've experienced this with cider but it may be hard to do to master this as I don't come across this often but only from time to time.

The final straw that'll stop me from coming back was the tater tots. They've always been really good but this most recent trip were the plainest tater tots I've ever had. It seemed like they were air fried or something, completely flavorless and not a single gram of salt on them. This place has gone from awesome hangout, to "it's expensive, but the food is still solid" to "never again" prices and food quality.

I love vanilla, and I love cider so the combo was perfect.
