Been coming here sporadically since they opened years ago and it seems that every time I leave more disappointed. Prices continue to increase rapidly. $18 for a 1/3lb cheeseburger, $16 for grilled cheese? After tax you're looking at $40 for lunch for two before even considering drinks. And after paying that price, you're not even waited on. You order at the counter and go and pick up your food, fill and refill your own fountain drinks, and dispense your own sauces before bussing your own table. The final straw that'll stop me from coming back was the tater tots. They've always been really good but this most recent trip were the plainest tater tots I've ever had. It seemed like they were air fried or something, completely flavorless and not a single gram of salt on them. This place has gone from awesome hangout, to "it's expensive, but the food is still solid" to "never again" prices and food quality. read more

I end up at this cider house often -- not because I'm a cider person, but because it's larggge. It's one of the few spots where you can arrive with a group and not have to awkwardly hover waiting for a table. In summer, the outdoor seating is great for happy hour. Service is the DIY kind. Order at the counter, grab your food from the kitchen window, and bus your own table. Nothing fancy, but it works fine for what it is. Gluten-free folks, you'll be happy here. They've got lots options of things we can't normally eat (fish and chips, chicken fingers) plus rotating gluten-free cheesecakes. Can't say much this way or that about the cider since ciders is always a little too sweet for me, but the menu is huge, so I'm sure most people can find a favorite. My last visit ran me about $25 for a kids' grilled cheese, a tiny cup of soup, and one cider -- which made me blink twice, but maybe that's just 2025 dining. Reminds me I'll probably just come for the drinks and the company. Still, it's a solid go-to for casual meetups and big groups that don't want to think too hard about logistics. read more

Great cidery with everything you need. Friendly service, great allergy friendly food and tasty cider flights. We sat inside and it was cozy with just the right amount of noise. I think outside on the patio would be even better on a beautiful day. read more

If you're looking for a large patio with plenty of tables, lots of cider options (beer and wine too) and tasty food. Trailbreaker Cider is a place you should try. A couple friends and I stopped in there tonight for dinner. The patio wasn't crowded and it was clean. There isn't a lot of inside seating but thankfully they have plenty of outdoor seating. You do order when you enter and they give you a buzzer to bring back to your table. When it goes off, you have to go back inside and retrieve your food from the kitchen window. I tried a flight of 5 ciders (4 oz pours). I am not a huge cider person, but they were all really good. For our meals, I went with their strawberry chicken salad. I went with the full-size and it was quite large. Really fresh and dark green lettuce, well cooked chicken, and lots of feta. The highlight was their raspberry vinaigrette though. My friends both went with their Cali Club Wrap with tots. The wraps were large and both took half home with them. All day Mondays is Happy Hour, so my friends also ordered their pretzels and tried a few of their dipping sauces (it did come with cheese sauce). I don't think you would want to come here on day you couldn't be out on the patio, because there's not a lot of seating if it's busy. They do have an upstairs area, for 21 and over (I neglected to check out that space though, so no idea the size). read more

Really disappointed with my experience, especially for almost $40 worth of food. I ordered the Cougar Gold Truffle fries and the grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad. The fries barely had any cheese on them and I couldn't even taste the cheese. What's the point of paying for Cougar Gold if it's not even on there? My chicken sandwich meat looked like it was a frozen patty with "grill marks", not a breast and was pretty small. I've had fast food burgers bigger and for cheaper. The salad was ok, not worth the $3 up-charge. I expected better quality and more value for my dollar. Won't be back again, especially if I'm expected to pay through the nose for mediocrity. read more

Trailbreaker Cider - halibut fish & chips, bacom cheeseburger & fries - Cideries Near Me - Liberty Lake, Washington

Visiting Liberty Lake thought I try this place out. Love the logo, bought a sticker to add to my collection. Upon entry we were greeted. Like the concept of sitting inside or out on the terraced lawn. Like the big garage doors that brings the day inside. We ate outside with our dogs. The concept is order at the county, given a buzzer and pick it up at the window. I ordered the grill cheese, not just your regular grill cheese. It had bacon, red onion and tomato..loved it. The French fries are perfectly crisp and fresh! My husband ordered the fish and chips. My only menu suggestion is consider adding a burger for vegans/ vegetarians. I ordered the Lemon UBE cider. It was purple! I will say, I like the cider, it is subtle but I did not taste any lemon/ube. I ordered a bottle of the blood red orange cider, same as above it was a nice subtle cider but didn't taste the blood orange. Worth the stop. read more

I appreciate a dedicated GF fish and chips place! We go here occasionally as they are very pricy. They have decent burgers as well. There is usually a wait, esp at prime hours or good weather so expect to sit down and wait a bit. A lot of great GF ciders too. read more

There is no service. You order at a counter and pick up at a window (yet the tablet still recommended a 15% minimum tip). I had to enter a custom zero tip to get around it. The French fries were very good, the Ruben was pretty good, but the cheeseburger was the worst thing I could have ever imagined. Calling it a cheeseburger is an insult to cheeseburgers everywhere. It was pre-formed (probably frozen?), as dry as the bun, and utterly, completely without even a hint of flavor. It was like a punishment patty that they serve to bad prisoners. I don't think you could drink enough cider to make this abomination any better. It made my soul sad. Otherwise, a pretty clean, cool place. read more

We really like the food at trailbreaker brewery. They have great salads and the selection of ciders is excellent (my wife loves that). The chicken Ceasar wrap is excellent. The tater tots are really good as a side also. They have a limited selection of beers on draft (wish they had more) but I can always find a nice beer there. We will be back! read more

This place was jam packed for a fundraising event. The lot is big and has a patio, small amphitheater, and lots of ground seating. The food is above average for a Taphouse, with the California wrap exceeding expectations. Even though the place was packed everyone was friendly and tried to get orders out quickly. read more

Another missed opportunity in the greater Spokane area. Unless you're into frozen hamburger patties and Ore-Ida french fries straight from your local Safeway, this place is a pass in the food department. And the food is as served cold. Making the experience just that little extra bit more terrible. I get it, it's a cider house. But if you're gonna serve food, please don't serve cold crap. Ambiance is good and the layout is great. Which makes this all the more shameful. It good be such a destination but instead it's just bad. It's really bad. Service is, well...there really isn't any. You order your food at the counter and pick it up at the window. Condiments, napkins, utensils are all up to you. Bowling alleys provide more food service. But that doesn't prevent them for asking for that tip. read more

What a great place for drink, food and meeting with friends and family! Definitely kid friendly with the huge lawn and great ambience inside or out! I have been there several times in the last couple of weeks and Trailbreaker Cider was always a highlight! To get started I got the Sweet Heat Cider which was so refreshing! We had the Cougar Gold Grilled Cheese and the Cali Club Wrap, both delicious with the tots which were nice and crunchy. Another time we had the Bacon Jam Burger and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich both outstanding as well and this time with the fries which were perfectly prepared! I've been to Trailbreaker as a guest many times but this time the organization I work for hosted an event and wow! The team at TB blew our socks off with how above and beyond their customer service was! Not only was the food and drinks immaculate, they helped us run our 3 hours Pie Event so smoothly. Nicki was there every step of the way with us from scheduling, to set up and check ins during the event. The music they had varied from where you were in the lobby or in the private brewer space. It was so nice and relaxed! I had their Cider Nog (sounds odd but trust me - it's AMAZING) and the spinach artichoke dip (which was cheese and cooked to perfection). Trailbreaker is so fantastic for events no matter the season. In the summer you can have corn hole out doors or if you're like us - you can do a late fall event in one of two spaces they have on site. Can't wait to come back next year! read more

I feel like I have a handle on visiting and trying breweries and cideries in Washington State fairly well. But the Spokane corner I often feel like I neglect and when I do make over there it's quite the extravaganza of visiting breweries and cideries! Trailbreaket Cider was one cidery I got to try on one of these extravaganza trips and it wasn't a disappointment at all. In fact most of the brewery and cidery businesses in this corner of Washington, going into and including the Idaho Chimney hardly ever disappoint! For Trailbreaker Cider Steve and I had the Trailbreaker Watermelon. This was a lovely and refreshing cider with it's crispness and appropriate sweetness. The flavor blending of watermelon and apple works together well making a very nice, complete cider in it's flavor bouquet. Definitely a worthy cidery worth trying if you are in the area or one to add to your list if you are hitting a series of breweries and cideries in the area! read more

Trailbreaker Cider - The very refreshing Trailbreaker Watermelon! - Cideries Near Me - Liberty Lake, Washington

We're cider nerds from Montana who make a point of visiting a different cidery every time we visit Spokane. I came here for the watermelon cider, which didn't disappoint -- it's not too sweet, has a nice tart underlayer while still tasting distinctly watermelon. We also enjoyed the Sun's Up Pink Lady cider. The wine barrel aged ciders were a little too bitter (yet not tannic) for my taste -- I prefer their Left Turn for a totally dry cider -- whereas the citrus Blood Orange and Mimosa ciders were surprisingly very sweet. But overall, a good range, everyone should find something that they'll like here, and the watermelon cider is exceptional. read more

We love coming here. It's a great space both inside and out. Some of the ciders are a little too sweet for me, but they always have a variety on tap, so I always find something I like! They'll also mix two cider flavors together- yum! The food has really improved, in my opinion. There weren't many vegetarian or pescatarian options before. The most recent dish I ordered was the truffle fries w/ Cougar gold and plum ketchup. SO good! I'll definitely come back for those. read more

Let me start off by saying, I love this place! Very kid friendly-lots of parents bring soccer balls, etc. for the kids to enjoy on their front lawn area while the adults catch up. PARKING: Free in their lot. On days where there are parties, the lot can get full, but there is plenty of free street parking as well. CURRENT DAILY SPECIALS: -HAPPY HOUR: Tue-Fri 2-5pm -MONDAY: All Day Happy Hour, which includes... -------$1 off pints -------$4 for soft pretzel with cheese sauce or chips and salsa/queso -------$7 for hummus platter, buffalo chicken dip, italian meatballs, margherita pitza -TUESDAY: Logo Wear (Wear any trailbreaker swag for 20% off your order) -WEDNESDAY: Growler Day ($5 off any regular 64oz growler fill) -THURSDAY: 20% off military and 1st responders -FRIDAY: Kill the Keg ($4 off select pints), also Fish Fridays (fried halibut and chips) My favorite ciders that I've tried: -BLACKBERRY: This is what I usually get every time!! So refreshing! Noted as being "light and sweet" -SUN'S OUT: Made with Pink Lady Apple. Refreshing as well! FOOD: -HUMMUS PLATTER: Comes served with pita wedges and assorted veggies. Would get this again! -TRI-TIP SANDWICH: House-smoked tri-tip, horseradish pickles, deli mustard, grilled onions, grilled peppers, onion jack cheese, and focaccia bread. This was so good and totally would get this again! -BBQ BRISKET SANDWICH: Comes with hoagie piled high with smoked brisket and Sweet Baby Rays sweet and spicy bbq sauce. Enjoyed this too and would get this again! -CALI CLUB WRAP: Comes with Boar's Head roasted turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce, white cheddar, and ranch in a spinach tortilla. This was just okay for me. Not my favorite. -FRENCH DIP WITH AU JUS: Comes with thinly sliced sirloin, bell peppers, onions, green chiles, and onion jack cheese in a hoagie bun with a side of au jus. Came exactly as I expected and it was good! -SIDES: They have TOTS that are fried to perfection (can't say that enough!) and FRIES are skinny and great too. You can also substitute for soup/salad for an additional $3. I've also enjoyed their TOMATO BASIL SOUP. read more

Not much to say. It's a cider house. The food is just ok...nothing spectacular. The drinks are good and the vibe is pretty chill. The restaurant is connected to the factory. You can watch the production and distribution process. The restaurant has two sections. A small indoor seating area and an area outside. The outside area is very open with tables, grass and trees. Lots of room between and areas where kids can play on the grass. We had the hamburgers. They were juicy and the fries were delicious. It is more self serve where you order and pick up food at the front counter. It has a condiment area and self serve soda. My husband did a sampler of five of the ciders. He enjoyed this a lot. Definitely will visit again if we visit Spokane Area. read more

The fries were delicious. I'm not sure where the cougar gold crumbles were at though. The sweet plum sauce was definitely sweet and tasted amazing! The horseradish honey mustard was a great fry dip. The bacon one was very flavorful and Smokey! Overall great environment, already making plans to come back! read more

I went to Trailbreaker Cider on a Friday evening, excited to try the cider and food. Well, the place is fairly cool, though tHe inside building temps were not. All outside tables full so we took an inside table. Stuffy and uncomfortable. Beers and ciders were good but expensive for size and counter service. We got a kill the keg seltzer 4.00 special which was good, though I'm not a seltzer person. Watermelon cider and beer added another 16.00 to the tab. Counter service only and they were pleasant though I always hate the suggested tips on the payment screen for handing me a beer. Food service was an hour or more wait so we didn't stay long and not really sure if I'll go back, even though I was super excited to go. UNDERWHELMED. read more

Not great -- just okay. Got the fish & chips (forgot to take a picture), which came out of the kitchen very quickly. If you like the fries at McDonald's, you'll like the so-called "chips" that were served with the fish. The fish portions were large, and the cod inside was good quality. However, the cider-batter coating left a lot to be desired as it was soggy underneath the brown-but-not-crisp exterior and quickly fell apart after taking the first bite. The tartar sauce was good. There aren't very many booths (which I prefer over tables and chairs) but they were clean and the booth seats were in good condition. Food is ordered at the counter, and picked up at the kitchen window when the thingy they give you lights up. It was not clear if I was also supposed to clear my own table, but my plate was taken away as soon as I was done eating. I deposited my glassware in the bins and put away the condiments I used, although I suspect that if I had not done so someone would have come along after I left. read more

Big bright family friendly cider house! We stumbled onto this place on a Saturday and grabbed some grub and tried a few ciders. Seating available on the main floor and upstairs. Bonus, they allow all ages so we got a cozy spot with our baby and had a nice little break. The all beef frank (grown up hot dog) was delish and I saw pretzels going out to other tables and was a tad jealous. There is a big selection of mustard for your dog or pretzel. My only gripes? The mustard with red bells won't come out of the container (boo!) because pieces of red bell peppers get stuck. Also the whiskey barrel cider tasted boozy but not at all reminiscent of whiskey. read more

Food is average but a decent place in the summer for families and kids because of the outdoor area. That said it's the worst customer service ever and not a good place for kids in the winter. These people act like it's it's a fine dining steak house yet they do nothing to give good service. They made our kids and other families feel so uncomfortable and we will never be back. Is a group of ten kids going to be a little loud... yes but there was only one other table there. The staff sit around doing nothing and then judge kids for being kids and complain about having to pick up after them. I understand it's hard to find good employees these days and this place is certainly struggling with their staff. We will never go back after how uncomfortable they made us feel. Maybe they need to hire staff you have kids so they understand the needs of a family friendly environment. read more
