I got the spicy edamame, which unfortunately seemed a bit overcooked--the beans were much softer than I prefer. My daughter ordered a chicken dish that ended up being mostly breading with very little chicken inside. I also ordered my usual salmon teriyaki, but this time the sauce tasted overcooked, almost burnt, which made it difficult to enjoy. I even had my daughter and her boyfriend try it to make sure it wasn't just me, and they both agreed. That said, not everything missed. The service was amazing. My daughter liked the miso soup. The Crunchy Joy roll (I believe that's the name) was very good, and the deep-fried pork gyoza was amazing as always. Overall, I was very disappointed since this place has consistently been one of my favorites. I'm hoping this was just an off day and that my next visit is back to the quality I'm used to.
