First trip to Nomi Village and Twin Dragon Hibachi

This was our first visit to Nomi Village and we picked Twin Dragon Hibachi. I was starving because I had skipped lunch (provided for reference). I had the chicken and shrimp dinner and my wife got the lamb chops. Despite how hungry I was, I still couldn't finish all the food (my wife never finishes, so that's less telling). The flavors were absolutely amazing! Just can't say enough good things about it. Chicken was cooked perfectly, the shrimp were plump and very well seasoned and the lamb was as tender and well-flavored as I've ever had. The yum-yum sauce (they call it white dragon sauce) was homemade and delicious. Definitely will be back.

First look at the menu prices I had to think twice before buying. Taking a chance I decided to test my luck. I purchased the dragon blaze which consisted of rice, veggies, chicken and steak and it was reallyyyyyy goood. The meal portion made me full but in honesty this is something I would tear myself monthly or weekly with the prices but it's definitely worth it. Service was mid. There was a younger lady that took my order which wasn't really friendly but an older lady bagged my food and was really nice exiting. The aesthetic of the food truck is pleasing to the eye and very much photo worthy. Black Owned business for the win!

Absolutely delicious My niece bought me a chicken, steak and salmon plates and it's absolutely scrumptious. Can't believe it's so close to my house and I'm just hearing about it. I can't wait to visit myself.

We started with the hamachi, which was beautifully balanced with truffle-ponzu, jalapeño, wakame, cucumber, carrots, masago, and just the right touch of heat. The spicy edamame with chili garlic sauce was addictive and came out hot and perfectly seasoned. For rolls, we ordered the Crunchy Joy (shrimp tempura, chopped crabstick, tempura flakes, topped with avocado, yellow chili sauce, and eel sauce), which had such a satisfying texture and flavor combo, and the spicy hamachi roll, which was fresh, flavorful, and well-executed without being overpowering. One of the surprises of the night was the salmon burger with fries -- genuinely so good. The salmon patty was juicy, the avocado portion was generous, and the dressing tied everything together really nicely. We also tried their ramen, which is new to the menu, and it did not disappoint. The broth was deeply flavorful and comforting, with a soft-boiled egg, edamame, and mushrooms. You can tell a lot of thought went into it. We finished with the biscoff cake, which was the perfect ending to the meal. The restaurant itself is modern, clean, and inviting, with a lovely outdoor patio option as well. Overall, this place feels like a true neighborhood gem -- great food, warm hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I'll definitely be returning.

This has been one of my top go-to spots to bring my family, so it was disappointing to have a different experience this time. We ordered a variety of dishes, including some of our usual favorites. I got the spicy edamame, which unfortunately seemed a bit overcooked--the beans were much softer than I prefer. My daughter ordered a chicken dish that ended up being mostly breading with very little chicken inside. I also ordered my usual salmon teriyaki, but this time the sauce tasted overcooked, almost burnt, which made it difficult to enjoy. I even had my daughter and her boyfriend try it to make sure it wasn't just me, and they both agreed. That said, not everything missed. The service was amazing. My daughter liked the miso soup. The Crunchy Joy roll (I believe that's the name) was very good, and the deep-fried pork gyoza was amazing as always. Overall, I was very disappointed since this place has consistently been one of my favorites. I'm hoping this was just an off day and that my next visit is back to the quality I'm used to. This is the reason for my three stars.

We only stopped for drinks this time so no food for us but it was just as nice to sit at the bar and visit. Recommend requesting a lemon lavender mojito, the bartender did a great job mixing it. Noise level is ideal for conversations which is hard to say about some dining places.

The setting in Bal Harbour is beautiful, very polished but still relaxed. It's definitely the kind of place you go for a nice dinner where you want things to feel a little elevated without being stuffy. Service was solid overall--attentive and professional, though at times it felt a bit rushed, like they were trying to keep the pace moving more than letting you fully enjoy the experience. Food-wise, there's a lot to love. The sushi was fresh and well-executed, and some dishes really stood out with great flavor and presentation. That said, a couple of items felt a bit underwhelming compared to the price point--good, but not quite memorable. Portions also lean on the smaller side, so it can add up quickly. All in all, it's a great spot with a cool vibe and very good food. Not flawless, but definitely worth going--especially if you're in the area and want a stylish dinner with consistently good quality.

Sushi Bichi is an answer to much of what ails the restaurant field in Miami. Unpretentious, vibey,…read morewarm, incredible value, great food. Everyone on the staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. The Happī Hour menu stands out as one of the best values in the area. I had 2 Classic Mojitos, Shrimp Cocktail, Lumpia Shanghai Roll, Pinoy BBQ Skewers and Kurobuta Corn Dogs from the Happī Hour menu. From the full menu, I had Salmon Tiradito, and the Chocolate Smores Cake a La Mode for dessert. Standouts for me were the Salmon Tiradito which had a beautiful presentation. It comes plated like a work of art with gooseberry, fresno chili, annatto oil, mustard oil, sea salt, white nikirisoy aioli. Wish I had taken a photo. This is the only place I ever order corn dogs (and I ALWAYS order them here) which are made with a Japanese sausage and come with a special spicy mustard that gives it an interesting, gourmet kick. Don't go heavy on the mustard if you're sensitive to spice. Hot! I am told the Chocolate Smores Cake a La Mode is inspired by the owner's son, and it is magnificently-plated and delicious. This is not the campfire version of S'mores. This is the haute cuisine version. You cannot beat Sushi Bichi on quality of food and experience for the price, especially during the Happī Hour which runs 4-6:30pm. You can walk onto the beach after your meal, if you'd like. It's right there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Parking tip: there is a large public lot on Collins Avenue around the corner that I've always found a spot in. Short walk to Sushi Bichi.

So good that we had to order a second roll. This is also the perfect opportunity to try some prime fish cuts, like otoro and chutoro. Ughhhh it melts in tour mouth. Octopus was also really great! Rainbow roll was also great. We also got the oyster mushroom skewer and the eggplant skewer. Eggplant skewer absolutely outshined the other one. Totally get the eggplant. Dessert was great! Matcha tres leches was a stunner. Mochi came with 4 flavors, banana, passion fruit, mango, and birthday cakes. Best was birthday cake and banana. Ralph was our server. Great presence. Down to earth. Seemed to be having a great time! Also this place qualified for the chase sapphire reserve $150 dining credit. And this place is absolutely worth raking up a bill!
