Great place for food when you need to sober up. Only problem was my chicken tenders were extra breaded and crunchy.

I…read moreordered the lunch bowl with the Lechon asado con maduros, arroz y frijoles, the masas de cerdo both dishes were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Very tender meat. As for beverage I got the delicious and refreshing passion fruit- mango. Although i didn't eat at the restaurant all my food was packed nicely and my beverage was nicely wrap and arrive at perfect temperature including my cold and frozen juice. I can't wait to visit this restaurant in person and continue trying more delicious dishes!! Photos can't do justice to the deliciousness of my food but the photo I took will make you laugh!!

In the pictures there are both and it was 9$ for basically canned soup. Tasted awful. Ordered spinach croquettes. They were tiny but delicious, well prepared and worth it. Ordered Moro rice-inedible. Dry. Dry. Dry. And the only flavor was salt. Not sure why they would send the last bit of rice from the pot that sat out all day, but that is what I got. Ordered vegetables-the picture is broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in garlic sauce. I got a few pieces of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, onions and some cucumbers. That pissed me off since it was not at all what I ordered. Maybe I ordered the wrong things, because the review here are pretty positive. Tried to call the restaurant to see why they didn't include the actual vegetables and decided a salad was a good substitute. No answer. So I won't be eating from here again. Disappointed.

It's a cool local place that I will skip on future trips to Miami…read more I went looking for chicken wings, walked away with tamales and pork that I trashed. I entered and it was clearly a spanish speaking establishment which is cool. I was sat and given a menu. There was a language barrier so I pointed to menu items. Full list of list of drinks and beer but every beer I pointed to they did not have apparently so I got a margarita but that was full of a premade mix so I asked for a glass of sparkling wine thinking no one could mess up a simple pour. Weirdest glass of sparkling wine (they call it a martini and garnish it with a sugar rim). Fine. I ordered the tamales and she brought pork with it which was nice but I was full of the margarita mix so I couldn't possibly finish. I trashed the take out on the way to the airport. The language barrier was too great but I recommend to other who would have no such issue.

No one understood me and it was a little confusing of where to sit and what to do but they are very friendly! There was a manager I think who spoke English and helped me out I will say the cafe con leche was the best I have ever had! So as far as our food My steak was pretty good but the fries seemed like it was out for a while and not hot or fresh and my sons shrimp Alfredo was yummy but there was so much butter you could have had a heart attack! So just be cautious of what you order or ask for less butter As far as the ambiance it was nothing to really talk about Linda like a cafeteria style

I am going to admit, I was skeptical of this new restaurant since it replaced Big Slick's Deli,…read morewhich was a delightful sandwich and grill restaurant. I had been salty about Big Slick's having closed, but it is time to move on. I saw some photos of the food from Bella's and decided to try it before remaining salty, so I ordered food for pickup tonight. They're on your usual delivery apps and have website ordering. I walked in before 8 PM and was a little surprised that there were 2 people separately eating in the restaurant. It had lounge lighting and decor, but it looked casual, since you still would place an order and pay at the front counter (still has the deli setup). To tell you how deserted the counter was, a child was sitting on the stool and had to get a staff member from the back in order for her to give me my order. I left wishing it were a little more happening, especially with the setup. But the food? Wonderful. I got to Griot Parmesan, which is griot (fried pork) and pikliz topping parmesan alfredo penne. THIS is ultimate comfort food! The penne had the great rounded flavor of parmesan and garlic without being overly creamy or heavy, the griot was so tender and evaporated that the fat on it was melty, and the pikliz was a tremendous accent to the dish with its spicy vinegar flavor. I can't remember the last time I liked alfredo pasta so much. It looks to me like Bella's is churning out some lovely Caribbean food. I hope this place gets more exposure so that more people can try it out for themselves!
