Regardless, you can't go wrong with this local chain. I used to frequent another location in town closer to campus, but in Lakeway this weekend, I spotted my once preferred liquor store ... I also spotted a Spec's. But hey, when in Austin ... It wasn't too busy for a Saturday, so we were greeted and led to what we were in search of: Don Julio. The team was fast, courteous and their wine selection had me browsing around for a few minutes or so. "Damn, guess I might as well try this Malbec." So I snagged a few bottles. I guess you could say that I like Twin Liquors so much, that I visited it twice this weekend ... different location, of course. Didn't want them to think I was the neighborhood drunk.

Which is great to try new products before you buy. Store is very clean and organized. Shelves are stocked well and neatly. They do have a section of cheese and meats, chips and other snack foods. My cashier was nice. As I checked out he suggested I keep the pies level as they tend to leak a little. They are wrapped well with plastic wrap in a box, but be safe than sorry. Happy I stopped by and got my pies before they sell out.

I ended up buying it, cause I liked the flavor. It's called Nowadays. And it has THC in the drink. The samples don't have THC, it's strictly to taste the flavor. And the flavor is really good. I'm interested in seeing how the effect of the THC go. I'll find out. They also gave me a couple koozies with their logo on it Also I did buy the mini Willie Nelson's Remedy THC. Going to try them with a friend and see what he thinks. I have had Willie Nelson's drink. And it does have an effect. And great flavor too. Also bought a grape flavor buzz ball just for nostalgia.

They of course had a great selection and were very helpful as we chose wine, champagne, and beer for our wedding. They focused on recommending good tasting and reasonably-priced items that they could guarantee would be available for our wedding. When trying out Sprouts, they kept recommending options, but could not guarantee it would be available as our wedding got closer. Twin Liquors even allowed us to get the bulk discount on the a number of the single bottle of wine that we wanted to taste before making our final selections. Delivery to the venue went very smoothly and was included in the cost. I'm not sure if this is typical, but I know they have a relationship with our wedding venue (Hamilton Twelve).
