We stayed here two years ago, it was full of activity. I understand there were some challenges last year with the pool. We are not pool people but recognize most campers require a pool. Twin Mill's pool looks sparkling and inviting. The outdoor movie theatre looks great, as does the mini-golf. We got a beautiful shaded spot. We are BIG, so most sites were too small for our oversized rig but Cara and Erika easily sorted a perfect spot for our ten day stay. The camper store is one of the best stocked I've seen in some time. Lots of friendly campers, we will definitely stay here again. read more

Our extended family has been going to Twin Mills in recent years. Last year much was wrong. The pool wasn't open, the entrance gate was broken, the bathhouses were not cleaned regularly, to the point that one family member thought about calling the health department. This year got off to a much better start! A new manager, the front desk staff was enthusiastic and helpful. The cleaning manager was right there if you needed anything and was most personable. But the cabin my aunt reserved with her down payment a year ago was "not available". She is in her 80s and has a chronic disease; she wanted to be near her family. She was placed across the road in a cabin that did not have the same amenities as the one she reserved. Worst of all, she was not notified in advance that her cabin had been changed! Last year our cabin had a key broken off in a lock on a second door. The broken key was still there a year later! After leaving this year, I realized I may have left something behind in our rental cabin. I called Twin Mills and received a call back from the manager. She assured me she would look in to my problem and said she would call me back later that day. Two days went by with no call, so I called again and spoke with another woman in the office. She too assured me she would look into the matter and she would call me back the same day. It's been 5 days now with no return call. It would be difficult for me to give an unqualified recommendation to Twin Mills for these reasons. Verbally they are enthused and supportive; their actions do not follow through. read more

Not worth the money or time. Management are not very friendly at all. They do not inform you that an electric n water site for tent camping have RV electrical hook up so you need an adapter for hook up. Showers are outdated and not cleaned dailey or for the 4 days we were there not cleaned at all! Things get stolen while ur in shower. On site store closes at 5pm! Pool wasn't opened n didn't look like it had been open for the season yet! Will never go back. read more

Ok so for a change I have some good news to report about a campground. First of all this place is huge, so where you end up will make a big difference. This review is specific to the C sites we were in C21 specifically. First we were sent to site 128, you do NOT want to be in this area. It's pretty much all full time residents and has very narrow roads, very hard to get around and cluttered small sites. Luckily someone was in spot 128 so we were moved. The water electric sites in C seem to have a bit more room than the full hookup pull through in this section. However they are both decent and are among a lot of trees. Very poor/no cell reception with T-Mobile and only paid WiFi. Normally I'm not a fan of paid WiFi however we only paid about $16/night for the water electric site with passport America. For that price I am willing to spend the $10 for 3 days of WiFi. The WiFi worked well and could even stream Netflix. It allows up to 2 devices at once. Close to several of the RV manufacturers so great if you are looking to do factory tours which we were. read more

Nested deep in wooded slots with tree debris all over and not maintained. They neglected to tell us that when we paid double for an upgraded site with sewer, we would only have 30 Amp power. The site was in a down-hill hole and so uneven we couldn't risk putting out our slides. When they brought us to our site they took us the wrong way and our motorhome got scratched up. They were clearly understaffed and the service was poor. When we tried to discuss the situation with the manager she had a "don't really care" attitude. We will not stay here again. read more

Stayed here on a Friday-Saturday-Sunday. We camped with a pop-up, a tent, 2 adults, and 4 kids. Our site had lots of shade and the area I stayed at was quiet during "quiet hours". The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The park seemed clean and free of trash. There are some pretty cool things to do here. We played the mini-golf and pitched some horse shoes. We played tether ball until someone got bopped in the face and there is a neat dodge ball court. The swimming pool is too small for the amount of sites at this park. The pool has a deep end of 9 foot which further limits the swim space for younger kids. One last gripe about the pool is that it closes at 8:00pm. In this part of the eastern time zone, the sun doesn't set until after 9pm. The camp store is pretty basic and closes early as well. The firewood sold on site was not completely dried (extra smokey) and expensive. The nearest bathroom to our site was a long walk by road. I think the park realizes the distance problem and leaves some sites unoccupied so folks can cut through. The campground is divided by a 2 lane highway SR120. Most amenities are in the northern half of the park and our site was in the southern half; so lots of crossing this road on bikes. The highway is 55mph at the crossing point but at least it is flat and strait. Overall, we had a good time. Our next visit here, we will request a site in the northern half. Happy camping. read more

Can't say enough about this place. Great, wooded campground. Plenty for the kids to do - swimming pool, fishing hole, game room, miniature golf, dodge ball area, outdoor kid's movie theatre on the lawn, roomy and scenic camp sites, a beach with a beautiful lake, tennis courts, tether ball, basketball court, ice cream stand and face painting and planned activities. This place has Gordon's campground beat hands down and literally no comparison. There is actually a quiet time here unlike Gordon's in wolcotville Indiana that doesn't enforce loud obnoxious drunks. This is the cleanest, nicest park we have ever been too. Everybody was super friendly and helpful. A+ !! read more

First, I have stayed here many many times, but we took a break for three years, we decided to come back and well...... we regret it! It's now part of "Encore RV Resorts"?‍...Pool IS NOT HEATED. Second the lot sizes are small for anything over 25'. Lots are not clearly marked, or 88% of the guest just do not understand how to park their rigs. Staff refused to address concerns of guest unless you were a "bro". Busted beer bottles were left for me to clean I even call the office to ask for a rake, I was told to "deal with it, it's a camp ground". Fine who will pay for the vet bill when a pet cuts open a paw, or if a child falls down??? I get it it was Friday and the office was busy checking in people, and ensuring that the bros had a fire ring on site. This place was okay three years ago but it's gone to hell. And if this is an example of an Encore RV "Resort" I will steer clear from others. read more

This place had bed bugs in the cabin we stayed in, come to find out they knew they had had them and rented it out anyway. It was a little to late that we had to find this out, they refunded everything so far, but I will be throwing things away before we get home. Doesn't make up for the trauma we went through discovering them when we laid down to sleep with our 6month old infant for the night. Check your cabins mothers and fathers! read more

Our third time camping here and each time it got worse. The staff are rude and not helpful. It's basically a figure it out for yourself type campground. Even the "residents" of the campgrounds are rude and just plain nasty. Rented a golf cart and it wasn't even charged. The pool was disgusting didn't look like it had been cleaned in weeks. They change the rules every year we go there, it's ridiculous. The A/C in the cabin didn't even cool down the tiny place. For all the money that was spent we will never camp there again. It's just not worth it. I do not recommend these campgrounds. read more

This place is ok but not the best that we stayed at they lack in information for the area around them if u asked them where someplace was their answer was google it. If we come back here we will make sure we google the First before getting here the grounds were keep p nice paved road but lots of Permanent spots I don't really feel like the RV's or tent this place is part of Thousand Trails and Encore but they do have Passport America but limited space and length of stay Passport America can not be used on Friday, Saturday or Sunday For travel during the week this is a OK Campground but u r a good distance from Elkhart, IN. read more

This should not even get a 1 star. The place is very unorganized and not very well taken care of. They allow all kinds in with no restrictions. The Office is old, the camp grounds are not maintained, trash dumpsters are always full. The laundromat is filthy and machines didn't work right or not at all. If it wasn't for meeting friends here, we would not have stayed at all. read more

We are at Twin Mills for a family reunion. Our family is staying in a south side cabin. It is horrific. There is a large trash dump area right outside our cabin with the constant smell of trash wafting over us every time we walk out the door of the cabin so there will be no using the fire pit. I can only assume the bed mattresses are hand me downs from a local prison as they feel like you are sleeping on a rock. The bunk beds squeak so loud the person on the bottom bunk can forget about sleeping, provided they could get over the pain of the rock hard mattress. The pull out sofa is completely unusable and makes the rock hard mattresses feel wonderful. We climbed out of our prison bunks to find that there is no hot water. The office is closed and after 15 calls to the emergency line there is no answer. read more

First let me say that my husband and I are travelers,not necessarily campers. We love our motor home as a way of getting from one beautiful place in this country to another. So Twin Mills is a CAMP Ground. Bathroom/shower at pool was clean, can't really say the same for the one I stopped at closer to our campsite. Be prepared to do without satellite or antenna TV. Too many trees blocked our signal. Bring yourDVDs for when you have to go in because of the bugs. Looked like there are many full timers. Some that need to clean up their area. However the campground area we were in was quiet. Picnic tables and fire pits at most campsites. Several,places along the highway to buy bundles of firewood. I don't even know where to start: bathrooms, need major updates!!! Showers don't work, mold everywhere. Some of the paved roads are so bad, I wouldn't let my kids ride their bikes, afraid they would get hurt. Most of the playground equipment is worthless. The fishing pond is disgusting, I mean there is so much trash in it, and it's so unkept, if I was a fish I would kill myself! The miniature golf course is worthless! (Good thing it's free) I wouldn't even play minature golf for free it's that bad. The stairs to walk down to the course, is dangerous! I was so afraid of falling through the steps!!
