Not only…read moredo they have a playground, bouncy pillow, lots of camp games, a pool, AND a lake, but they also have a lazy river at the pool and a huge inflatable play set in the lake that is not far out to swim to. Their office is has friendly staff to help you check in and out, serve ice cream, and they also have plenty else for sale including swimwear, camping gear, etc. The summer weather certainly made for some thunderstorms and a mix between partly cloudy and outright scary weather, but the camp staff was nimble and allowed for the kids to play in the pool and lake as long as there were no nearby thunderstorms, so they just had to take a break anytime the weather started moving in. We had not planned to come here, but didn't have a great experience elsewhere and located this place at the last minute. Somehow they had plenty of excess capacity and we were able to get a couple spots up front. Unfortunately, anytime another RV came in between our travel trailer and the office, our Wi-Fi would not work. To get around that, we just went outside and found a place within line of site to the office and it worked fine. The last night we were there, we moved our rigs down to right next to the lake where we could watch the kids playing on the huge inflatable things in the lake and the Wi-Fi down there was excellent.

We take 12 adults/kids to go on the splash pad at 4:30 Saturday july 5th mgmt: you can pay full price for 1hour but only get it for 30 min. Us: can we pay half price for 30 min? Mgmt: NO. Full price or nothing. We close at 5pm on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. 20$ for an hour or 4 people for 65$ an hour. But you only have 30 minutes. Us: we have 12 people. (65$x 3 groups of 4 = 195$) You dont want our $$ Brian the owner/Melinda the GM - you need to do better.

We encountered so many issues on finding lots that will let you stay overnight. Most lots want you go shortly after home games. We love this lot because it's car & RV parking. If we have friends and family who are just coming for the game and driving separate they can park with us verses having to find a "car only" lot. Location is just a small walk to campus. Easy in and out during events. The gentleman who runs the lot is actually on site pretty much the entire time. The parking lot has it's own port-a-potty which is very clean and stocked with TP. You are parked with enough space to spread out with your tailgate gear, tables, grills and even an evening fire if you bring firewood. The lot owner usually calls to confirm a few days prior and is super accommodating! Highly recommend the Pendle Rd. lot if you need event parking for RV's or even cars while in South Bend.

The sites are all double wide concrete pads; no need to drag out your rugs! Everyone we met was very friendly and so hospitable. They even had events planned for the weekend, including a Father's Day breakfast. We heard they had a planned expansion and can't wait to see what else they have planned for the resort!

Everything was clean and very well maintained. The staff was very friendly. They also wonderfully accommodated late arrivals leaving the paperwork and instructions in the lobby. They also have nice grounds and a nice looking pool. Spots are well marked and easily accessible as a pull-through. They had full hookups for everything you'd need. They had good Wi-Fi to boot. I cannot say enough nice things. A really well run place. We liked this place enough that we altered our plans on the way home to intentionally stop here again.

After 3 phone calls over one week, we were able to get in contact with them about the additional fee. The staff and management were exceptionally rude especially Missy, who introduced herself as the manager. Initially, they said it was a pet fee that wasn't mentioned before our stay. Then, Missy claimed that there was dog urine left on the floor of the cabin, so the fee was a detailed cleaning fee. Not only was this untrue, but we actually left the cabin in better condition than we found it by cleaning out trash found under the beds that did not belong to us and wiping out the refrigerator before leaving. I would highly recommend avoiding this campground.

They have a heated pool, dog park, playgrounds, basketball court, gazebo, fishing pond, volleyball court, putt golf course, rustic cabins, full hook ups, great camp store with souvenirs, sell great burning firewood, tent sites, activity center, and pull through sites as well. Only an hour 15 min away from the Indiania Dunes National Park. When I was in the camp store she was tell this small group of young girls to stick together and not separate from one another! It's so sweet that she even cares for your kids like she would her own. The lady behind the counter was so helpful, she gave us great suggestions for donuts which turned out to be totally right as to where to go for the best donuts.
