My girlfriend Madi and I come every so often to get a burger and a drink after work. Since TP is the only restaurant open late and we are servers, we are so thankful to be able to be served so late. We always sit at the bar. Its usually busy so it can take a minute to get to us sometimes, which we totally understand! The women behind the bar are always good to us and we will continue to come and see their faces. Just wanted to say thanks and give a 5 star to them. read more

I used to come here fairly frequently but first visit this year probably. Did they change food suppliers? Because the size of the wings are at least 30% smaller. Used to have some of the best smoked in town (outside of Moe's) but pretty unsatisfying now for a high price for a dozen ($15.99). Sadly, the size of wings isn't the only thing that's gone down; the girls' outfits are now literally bikinis. It's like the pigs in the board room decided, "We have to be trashier than Hooters." Anyway, I no doubt the only Dad who likes the food and the Kids' Menu (it's actually great -- healthy side options like broccoli and a $1.99 sundae) -- my wife travels frequently and here I can get a super-cold beer and some relaxation. Unfortunately, now it comes with a side order of creepiness. Sorry, I'm not part of your target audience, which is to say, Trump's base. read more

Ashley S was definitely the best server I've ever had. 10 out of 10 and she is stacked! She got all the curves I love and is so sweet! Food was awesome. Got my meatball in some buns. When you enter a Twin Peaks, you sort of know what to expect. Lots of TVs, a noisy, busy atmosphere, and a bevy of beer and food. This is a very efficiently maintained establishment, with lots of food and drinks being delivered around the many, many tables constantly. The three times I have been have all been fun experiences with friendly, fast service and better than expected food and super ice cold drinks. The Chicken and Waffles is a go-to here for me, and there are numerous drink specials nightly (yes, even on weekends!) I also enjoyed the Billionaire Bacon app, along with the Cheese Curds. Everyone I've ever went with has had a great time at this bustling chain. read more

First time visiting Twin Peaks after a long day on the road. Pleasant surprise. We had the Fried Pickles appetizer. The batter was light and didn't hide the pickle flavor. We each had the Chicken Cobb Salad. It was great. Tons of flavor and loaded with chicken, avocado and all the things that make a Cobb salad so good. Calista, our server, was excellent. Hostess didn't greet me and had me standing there waiting for her to say something. She put me on hold so she could write something down. Fortunately, a girl next to her just asked me if I wanted to sit at the bar. Then the hostess decided to look up smh. I moseyed over to the bar, sat there for 5-10 minutes. Didn't get any service, so I bounced. Asked to speak with a manager and she took forever. I voiced my concern about the hostess and the slow service at the bar (that wasn't crowded). It was duly noted and she offered to comp something on another day. Since I was visiting from Cali I just told her no worries. On the bright side, looks like a cool place to watch a game. This chain fills the need for a sports bar in Hoover that has more to look at than just the game. The theme is a mountain hunting lodge, but does that really matter? The main attraction is good looking young waitresses in skimpy outfits. On opening week we were not disappointed. Our waitress was Carrie, and she was super. There are plenty of attractive waitresses, and they were all very friendly. I'd expect no less here in Alabama. What differentiates Twin Peaks from Hooters or Tilted Kilt? The wait staff has big ..ah, smiles, and tight ..hmm, clothes. Yep, that's it ;) Peaks brags about serving the beers at 29 degrees, and the beer was as advertised. I had the Dirty Blond draft, and it is served with an orange slice. The beer was very light, and the frosty mug seemed to water it down a bit. I still liked it and would order again. The menu offers pretty typical bar food. We just had chips and queso so I can't comment on the food. The location is perfect for those who work or live in the Hoover Galleria area. It is a great alternative to Baumhower's, On Tap, and BWW. And, it is definitely better than driving out of your way to go to Hooters or Tilted Kilt. I've always thought these places were kind of weird...hooters, tilted kilt, twin peaks, etc. The idea of bar food being served by a half naked college aged girl just kind of weirds me out. So I don't generally find myself drawn to these kinds of places. That being said, it's pretty easy to avoid a Hooters, or Tilted Kilt, because the food at both of those is terrible. But so, I'm meeting some friends the other day, and sure enough they want to go to Twin Peaks...so I go. I'd been there once before and the food was better than expected, and the prices were good, so no problem, I'll go again if that's where everyone wants to go. Not a whole lot to say about the menu other than that it has typical bar food, and a handful of things you might not expect like a pot roast, a cheese board, and some really good soups. Best thing to know about the food is that in both my experiences the kitchen is executing at a high level. The food is hot, comes out quick, and is plated and presented nicely. You can tell that the kitchen is well managed. Burger...fries..pot roast..whatever you get it'll probably exceed the expectations that you might have if you're just looking for bar food. The service in both instances that I've experienced has been prompt and friendly. Nothing to complain about there. Glasses filled, silverware brought, food correct, etc. Aside from the fact that I get the sense that I'm helping create a market for the exploitation of the waitresses, everything goes as well as it should in any restaurant. Overall I'd say 4 stars. Good food, good service, but the concept just doesn't appeal to me. Like...who really wants to go to a place with a chatty, half naked waitress? A lot of people I guess. More power to them. I think I would love to eat the food more often, but if I stopped in there by myself for lunch, or if I went there regularly, it would just feel a little weird. read more

So we decided on twin peaks for a early dinner with friends (4 total) everything was going well after drinks came around. Then we ordered food, 3 of us order the steak special for $17.99 great value and the steaks were awesome. But one chose a burger and it was a rock. Sent it back. Let me just say that I was never a big fan of Twin Peaks, however a friend of mine persuaded me and some other friends to go to this one in Hoover. I walked in skeptical and left a definite returning customer. Meagan our server was absolutely a doll, and the food was actually on point! We all got mimosas and the queso. I ordered the fish and chips and it was amazing!!! I will definitely be returning for their neon week coming up!!! read more

Ok, came back to see if the last time was a fluke. Happy to say it was not! Tonights server was Madelyn, have nothing to say but great things. Sat at the bar, and she was on top of things! Such a great person! Attentive, cordial, funny, so very glad and happy she was the person that waited on me. Because of her and a couple of others, they made the experience her one to remember and appreciate. These girls have a difficult time dealing with most of the customers. All I can say is treat them decent and you will be treated very well. Even a couple of them that had nothing to do with the area I was sitting at went above and beyond to make everything great, such as Kinsley and Jessica! The grilled salmon is amazing. My server Marladrian was attentive, prompt, and professional. I always stop here while in town. Food, drinks, and service are always on point. Came back the next day and the experience was even better. We went with a large party. I like the location and the casual feel to the place however the service really lacks. I ordered a vodka on the rocks and that took over 30 minutes and was watered down by the time I had it. The wings were really good. The Philly was bland and missing seasoning l. The desserts were good. It's a nice hangout place to watch the game. The service could be better. However, since it was a large party, it would make sense to have 2 servers. read more

It's been a while since I've done an review. I know I have been slacking and I apologize to my fellow Yelpers. Twin peaks is one of my favorite restaurants because of the atmosphere. It's always a good vibe and never a dull moment. They have great prices on their beer and alcoholic beverages and the food isn't that bad. I decided to come her yesterday to pre game and watch the games before I headed to Top Golf. They were definitely packed when I walked in and they had started the "stadium seating" which meant they would be sitting folks with random individuals to accommodate space. Which is a good idea because you get to meet new people and get a seat quicker. I had ordered the Billionaire Bacon, which is an favorite and my go to appetizer before I start drinking, just to have food in my system. The bacon had brown sugar and pepper sprinkled all around it. My Beers of choice are either an Dirty Blonde, Shock Top, Corona Sam Adams blonde ale. This day I had got the Dirty Blonde and it hit the spot as usual. My entree was the fowl play. Which was an Turkey burger with sweet potato fries. I will always come back to this restaurant, it's my go to every time. read more

Dusty is a D*ck: So I got at this place on a Saturday at 3pm. I've watched 2 football games and ordered two meals. I've spent a bunch of money on drinks and food. I was there for a long time. Later, at 10:15pm, a manager named Dusty showed up at the bar and demands a $15 cover because there is a boxing fight on TV. I don't care about boxing (who does) and if I want to stay I have to pay. CRAZY. Don't show the fight. I don't care. I'll close my eyes. I should have been grandfathered in with the crowd that pays bigger money on drinks and food. My tab was over $225 by myself. Never again. (I tipped well, over $50) Why I had to pay a cover just to continue hanging out with my friends. Dusty is a bad manager and a fool. read more

I always enjoy the food! Tonight I got the Chicken & Shrimp combo with my Tequila shots! Lol One of my daughters got the Cheeseburger with bacon. Another got the Boneless wings with mozzarella bites. My bonus son got the wings & fiancé got wings with Steak nachos. The Chicken & Shrimp convo was good. I loved the lemon batter! The shrimp were fried just right!! My daughter inhaled her burger so fast, I am willing to bet her life it was delicious! The wings disappeared on my bonus son plate quicker than I could ask for one! And my other daughter doesn't share but the mozzarella bite I snuck while she was in the bathroom was BOMB!!! My fiancé however didn't care for the Steak nachos so he sent those back & got boneless wings!! He said the steak was cold & the cheese wasn't good. I didn't try them because I don't eat steak! They came with a side of cheese curds, and both were absolutely delicious. Even as small as the curds were, they had a perfect cheese pull! For our mains, I ordered the cowboy burger with an added egg and a side of sweet potato fries, while my son chose the shrimp and grits. My burger was incredible, a solid 9.5 out of 10. My son rated his shrimp and grits a 7, though he has a lot of experience with that dish to compare it to. Daniella provided fantastic service, checking in at just the right times without hovering. I later realized I forgot to ask if they do anything special for birthdays, but honestly, my son was probably glad I forgot! Great dining experience! The customer service from our excellent server Jaden was absolutely on point! Everything from always checking on our table, insuring we had everything we needed/wanted, being personable/engaging/friendly, having food/drinks to our table quickly, and making us feel welcome to the restaurant and the Birmingham area. My opinion comes from someone who has worked in the food service industry in management and as a worker. I am currently working in a different field traveling for work and regularly dining out. In addition, the manager Lee stopped by our table to check on us. Lee has a well run team and is on top making sure back of house, front of house, and fellow servers are all working to make each part of the dining experience very enjoyable. It is refreshing to go somewhere and see that great customer service and great management can make a dining experience great. It is reflected in their ratings/reviews in various platforms so this isn't one of few but one of many positive and great reviews! Tried the new Hoover Twin Peaks last night and loved it. The location is far better then the Hooters or Tilted Kilt locations in Birmingham. Service: The service was great and not just for obvious reasons why a guy would want to go to Twin Peaks. The staff was all very friendly and served us with a team approach. I never had an empty Beer in front of me the whole night. Taste: Try the Naughty Brunette. It is a good dark beer and is one of their house beers. I kept it simple and went with the BBQ wings. Nice size wings and great flavor in the sauce. Much better then what I'm used to at Hooters, Tilted Kilt, or BWW. Atmosphere: This place nailed it. TV's are every where and the staff made you feel comfortable right away. The building is beautiful and you wouldn't know this place used to be a Johnny Carino's. I just hope they can keep this up once the newness wears off. I will definitely be back. read more

Once upon at time there was a restaurant called Twin Peaks. The staff was great and food was always prepaired and served with care. On a rainy day, skies full of gloom, I decided to escape the weather and entered the establishment. Greeted by a smile and friendly hello, I meet Ashley. She welcomed me in with open arms as if we had known each other since childhood. She sat me down and proceeded to provide me with service that was unparalleled. Before I knew it the skies were clear, the sun was out, birds were singing their love songs. Some say it was just a change in the weather patterns. But some say it was Ashleys attention to detail, hard work, great personality, and smile that chased away the clouds and made the sun decide it needed to see her once again. I have been to this location three times in as many years when I visit Birmingham for the Indycar race. Each time the service and food have been good, but I wanted to take a moment to highlight a special person on my latest trip that made my experience special. My server was Bre. Firstly, her understanding of the menu was excellent. Which allowed her to point out some of her favorite items which made my selection easier. Secondly, her personality is the best I've had during my multiple visits - Bar none. Finally, her service levels were great (as a former server) she never let my drink run dry and was always there with a fresh glass, in most cases before I asked. For those reasons, I would highly recommend asked for Bre's section on your visit. I look forward to hearing your experience. read more

First time to a Twin Peaks and it was amazing! I was a little skeptical coming here because I wrongly lumped them in with a "Hooter's" type restaurant and did them a huge disservice. Our Twin Peaks Girl was Symone, and made a great first impression with how quick service was, informative on the menu and pleasant to talk to. The menu options were so different from anything I've seen lately. The appetizers and food were Delicious with a capital D! We tried the chips and queso with spicy taco meat in it, the mozzarella bites with homemade marinara for our appetizers. For the meal I tried the cheeseburger and fries, and my buddy tried the Cubano and fries. We're both eager to come back and try some other menu items we saw too. We had a great visit at Twin Peaks in Hoover today!! We used to go to the Twin Peaks in Montgomery. Sadly, they closed. On our way to Nashville, we stayed overnight in Hoover. We ate lunch here and returned for supper this evening! Jodi and Jade took excellent care of us on our first visit earlier. Liz also took great care of us on our supper visit!! Service was good. But I didn't realize girls can drink while they are working. It really confused me. When I heard one of the server asking a customer or 2 to buy her a shot, it raised a flag. I thought she was kidding, but when the shots came out and I seen her handing the customer a little container and he poured it in there and slipped to her and she went back inside. I knew it was serious. I figured if they was allowed to drink on the job, then they wouldn't have been so sneaky about it. Anyways, I won't be siting with her when I come back. I came in on August 29 for lunch and had my usual twin cheeseburger loaded up that I love so much. Kait was taking care me and was very attentive to my needs and having everything available for me before I could ask for it. The staff had such a team work feel to them. Everyone was working together, two different girls brought my food out while joking and making me feel right at home. Okay so let me start off by saying I did NOT want to come here for my lunch break. My friends convinced me, and that was the greatest decision I have made in a long time. We only get an hour for our school lunch break right? NOT ONLY was the food out fast, it was FRESH AND DELICIOUS. Each of us (4) got different menu items and everybody loved their food. The food was good but the service was horrible. I believe our servers name was Hailey. She spent more time away from our table and when the few times I walked outside, she was always outside talking and flirting with several guys outside. I must say, I know they are here to make money, but to neglect her tables, is a turn off. At one time we had to get another server to refill our drinks. If she spent more time on her customers, other then chasing the guys outside, she would probably make more money and also be a great server. Very disappointed. read more

Was in town for a work conference on a limited time schedule today! Needed to find a place close by the conference and that offered a variety of things to eat to choose from! While traveling to New Orleans my mom and I stopped in for lunch. They didn't have the salad dressing I liked and was limited due to surgery and what I could eat. Our waitress Carrie went out of her way to attempt to make me Russian dressing with the few ingredients I mentioned was in it. I was stunned when she brought it to the table and it tasted great! I came to Twin Peaks for a gathering, hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately the food was a huge letdown. Everything tasted bland, overcooked, and lacked any real flavor or freshness. Honestly, I wouldn't come here for the food at all. That said, the service was the saving grace. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the entire time. my husband and I stopped in for dinner heading to Savannah Ga, was a lil surprised not to see any lady patrons. Come on ladies the food was good. The wagyu burger was delicious and our waitress (Destiny) was really good at her job and super friendly! This was our first time visiting and so the manager came up to ask us how everything went, which I thought was really welcoming. The women at Twin Peaks make it a worthwhile experience. When Marie is in charge, everything runs smooth and everyone has a good time. The food is top level, Patricia does a great job of getting everyone's food to them ASAP. Jodi, Sam and Camille keep the bar running like a well tuned machine. Between 3.5-4 stars Saltgrass was not very busy upon entering. They had a birthday party, about 3 other tables in the main dining room, 4 bar booths and then me at the bar. Pretty bare considering the size of the space and amount of tables throughout. The gentleman and young lady working the bar area were attentive while assisting throughout other sections of the restaurant. I was warmly greeted and promptly given both my water and bread while giving me a moment to skim through the menu. I landed on the 22 oz porterhouse (medium rare), mashed potatoes and caesar salad with dressing on the side. The portion of the side salad was smaller than I was used to at saltgrass, my steak was medium on the NY strip side and medium rare on the filet mignon side (inconsistent temperature), potatoes were fine. Overall flavor was as expected. The staff themselves were great. They seemed to work well together. Bathroom stall (first stall in Women's) does not have a lock (missing slide bolt), some toilet paper needed to be picked up (very minimal), paper towels/napkins were running low, clean otherwise.

The staff are so nice and down to earth too! We had Jesse and he was awesome. He had a little pinecone necklace on that really was super cool and one of a kind. The pizza is absolutely top-tier. Perfectly baked crust, generous toppings, and bold flavors that hit every time. Whether you go for a classic or one of their creative specialty pies, you can taste the quality in every bite. The appetizers and drinks are just as solid, making it hard to choose a favorite. The staff is friendly, attentive, and keeps everything running smoothly even when it's busy. It can be a little slow sometimes, but ultimately a good little evening getaway. Great food, great service, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere make Mellow Mushroom an easy awesome experience! The Meatball trio also was super interesting but delicious. My partner loved his build-your-own calzone too. I had the wings and they were good!
