I'm so glad this restaurant is within miles of my house. I decided to come here on a Saturday evening with my son to have some dinner. We started off with mozzarella sticks and they were amazing. You get at least eight sticks. I usually get soda when I come here but tonight I decided to get a margarita on the rocks and it was only seven dollars and it was delicious. My son got the Smashburger and I got the buffalo chicken wrap, but I got the mild sauce on it. We had Natalie J as our server and she was excellent. She was very attentive and prompt with bringing me my to go box as well as my check. I did go to the bathroom and the garbage in there was overflowing. Other than that, it was a great experience. There are a bunch of TVs here so it is a good place to watch sports and at times they do have live music. read more

We went around 2:30pm on a Tuesday. The service was absolutely amazing! The food and drinks came out super fast and everything was correct. So unfortunately I had to dock you a star. You are needing servers badly and not just servers but friendly servers. The one I had yesterday was not the least bit personable. She still got a good tip but yet she could have cared less . I'm glad you have added meat and veggies to your menu . The Birthday menu is okay too. I got the catfish plate- catfish took up part of the plate w/ fried okra, grilled Zucchini, and coleslaw that while good (They up charge you like 3.00 why??) We also got fish and chips unfortunately it tasted like frozen Gordons fish portions We used to get way back when. It wasnt what We expected at all. Guess I'll have to go to Twin Peaks for that . Son got his tried and true Armadillo burger. He also got the Birthday cake while good that icing was as heavy as the icing on wally world's cakes. If you know you know. We got the lava cake cookie which was good and came with ice cream. I do appreciate you trying to expand your menu. Some are hits and some are misses. The service was adequate, appetizers and main entrees were very good. We did not appreciate the bait-and-switch advertising for Dos Equis draft beer. They prominently displayed signs for it, but in actuality, did not have it available. They didn't apologize or offer any type of explanation at all. Just a matter-of-fact kind of response that they didn't have it. When it was pointed out that they were advertising on the walls of that that very building as a "Special" they just shrugged it off as if to say "What about it - what's the big deal?" One of my family members come here for lunch with friends, so we decided to try it for a family lunch. Pretty quick service. Be sure to check the menu for specials. I got a steak, and it was cooked to order and tasted pretty good for this price point. This location has been several things, but it may be unique for a Beef's. Now I'm a little hard on my reviews, so don't pass this joint up if in town. Why only 3 stars???.... I don't want to over hype the food. I mean it was tasty! And proportions were perfect for one person which I appreciate. Had the Cuban sandwich- not the best we've had but a 7-8 out of 10, would order again. A chefs salad, not impressed with the Bleu cheese dressing, switched to ranch-way better! Salad itself was made with better cuts of lunch meats. But wasn't too crazy about the bacon in it. The French fries were ordinary but good, nothing special but were fresh to order and came to table hot. Other food ordered with our party but since I myself didn't sample it not going to comment. Service was decent, very friendly waitress and food came pretty quickly for our bigger group of 7. However had to ask for another ranch dressing a few times before it came to table. Love Love the Ambiance of the restaurant, we sat outside and the Creek splashing thru, train holler just a ways off, a true southern feel.... Beautiful! Beers were cold! Will we be back? YES! This is the first sit-down-at-the-restaurant meal I've had since March. Been doing lots of takeout, but felt pretty good about Beef O'Brady's since they have a big porch out back. Tables are well spaced. The back porch is covered, and it's under shade, and it has a great view of Buck Creek Waterfall there in Helena. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Wrap. This is one of those items that sounds like it's good for you, but it has your daily allowance of fat if you get the fries, too. Which I did, and I'm okay with that (though I did skip the mayo). It was a good size wrap with lots of chicken and bacon. It also comes with a side of ranch to dip or add to your wrap. Side of skin-on fries, and I was satisfied for the day. The other dish for the table was the Poblano Chicken Lettuce Wraps. This dish may not always be available if there are romaine lettuce issues. Served with your choice of steamed broccoli or zucchini. Three generous lettuce bowls. Looked a little more like a salad from my side of the table, but eventually seemed manageable as three large boats/wraps by the end of it. So if you haven't been eating out, this Beef O'Brady's is a great choice. read more

My husband and I went there last weekend on a date, we generally absolutely love it there. However, the duck race was going on and not being from around here I asked him what the duck race was. We were standing at the table on the balcony, not even sat down, and a woman who was working the event, (ticket taker maybe), loudly interrupted our conversation telling us, -from the stairs not even standing near us, loudly says, "You can't just sit here for 4 hours". We had no intension of staying that long as that is ridiculous, we were talking about the race, saying zero about staying for hours, and she was clearly straining to listen to our conversation. I generally don't even go out anywhere due to an extreme anxiety condition, however we work very hard and this was supposed to be a long awaited treat. We felt attacked, as both of us are covered in tattoos and my husband has a face piercing. To be blatantly judged like that is not acceptable. Seeing the look on the family's faces as we were leaving said enough about this behavior, and I do not want nor appreciate attention, especially if it is negative. Before leaving, my husband apologized to our assigned waitress, as that remark cost her a table and a generous tip. Not to mention it completely ruined the day. So this is by no means against this restaurant, rather the person who was hired to help with an event. read more

First time here! We just moved to Helena and really needed a good meal after moving all day. I'm so glad we chose here! We were seated outside next to the river- it was so beautiful! I ordered the Cuban with onion rings and street corn and it was delicious! Hubby ordered the surf and turf and went mute for 5 minutes while he scarfed it down. We had cheesecake which was the icing on the cake! The strawberry sauce went very well with it. Our server (Jasmine "like the flower") was amazing! So attentive! I visited the bar-side of this restaurant for the first time two weeks ago, and this is now my new hang. Great decor, flat-screen TVs everywhere you look, and an amazing variety of beers on tap. It's a clean, modern, comfortable kind of sports bar. The best part are the bartenders. They are attentive, fun and generous pourers who seem to know everyone they serve. The food is mediocre at best. A year ago it was good. The wing baskets were our favorite thing but now they are cooked so long they are dried out. I ordered the Nashville hot and garlic Parmesan wings. They were pretty good. They were fried crispy and the flavors on the wings were plentiful to taste. One of my concerns is they give you this small container of ranch and blue cheese and it's so hard to put the wing in for dipping. The fries need some work. Amy Brown does not recommend Beef 'O'Brady's in Helena. The $12.00 Chicken Caesar Salad that I ordered arrived in a small bowl with less than 1/4 ounce of chicken in the salad. It was a bowl of greens with a few croutons and a tiny bit of chicken. I sent the salad back telling the manager that the chicken serving size was not acceptable for the selling price of $12. The manager initially argued with me stating that she did not personally make the salad. Then she argued that all chicken servings are weighed according to scale prior to preparation. Finally she agreed to remake the salad with a larger chicken proportion. The new salad arrived and it had more chicken but the taste was not good. To top things off, we were shorted 30 cents in our change from the bill. The manager said that they rounded off the change to the nearest dollar. Instead of rounding off to our benefit, they rounded up and kept the extra change. read more

I so want to give this place a 4 star, but the food was just meh. We went here with a party of 10 on a Sunday after church. We got a table right away. Though it was right by the door with the cold draft, it was fine because the fireplace was lit and felt as though the heater was on. The atmosphere is very nice and feels somewhat homey. Our waitress was amazing. She was very helpful, kind and funny, and prompt and precise on our orders. I ordered the 2 grilled fish tacos with a lemon pepper seasoning. It came with chips & salsa. The grilled 'white fish' was in a flour tortilla topped with cabbage, cheddar jack cheese, and a creamy poblano sauce. I was NOT impressed! The fish tasted of cheap frozen fish sticks that they took the breading off and heated in the microwave. I would not get this again. The chips & salsa were good-can't really mess that up. The price was good, no complaints on that. I will give this place another shot and hope to sit outside or at the bar and ONLY focus on appetizers and a few brews. Went to the Helena location and it was such a great experience. They had live music and a lit patio area that overlooks a body of water. Food was surprising above average in terms of "pub/bar food". We had the boneless lemon pepper wings with fries and it was hot and fresh, as opposed to sitting under a heating lamp. Overall a 10/10. Parking does suck. The hostess was super nice. She told us it would be a 35 minute wait for two. We only had to wait 15-20 minutes before she sat us. Our mozzarella stick appetizer came out after five minutes of ordering it. Our wings were delicious and we finished it off with the cookie lava cake topped with vanilla ice cream.
