We spent most of the summer at Twin Points this year. Such a fun lake! One of those times we rented a pavilion, which elevated the whole experience having a shade and a table. There are picnic tables but they're first come. Today the water was clean and hardly anyone was there, mostly moms and toddlers. We visited the Kona store and they've got snacks, drinks and of course Kona Ice! If you forget sunscreen or sunglasses they have those items too. read more

A great way to get beach vibes without traveling far. I went on a Saturday so, it was $20 a carload. You register your vehicle online, then when you drive up to the window, you give them your name and they let you go by. There's plenty of parking and you don't have to walk far to get to the sand and lake. Also, the Restrooms are available right as you walk in. They are clean and spacious. They also have a little store. You can by Snow cones and other things you may have left behind. There's lots of picnic tables and there's two volleyball nets for sand volleyball. TRWD is rude. They could care less if anyone uses this lake. They make the boat fee so high and offer no season passes. The docks are not close by so you have to drive the boat off dock then pull the truck out. They don't respond to message on here. What a bunch of crooks in my book. read more

This is an outstanding lake beach. It's clean, beautiful, and fun! I'm not sure how it worked pre-COVID, but at this point in time you have to purchase a parking pass online prior to entering the park. Passes are limited to 160 cars per day. The rate is $10 Mon-Thurs and $20 Fri-Sun. You can also choose to reserve covered picnic table pavilions (for a cost) in advance on the website. These are NICE pavilions and would be great for a party! The beach is wide and relatively deep, making it large enough to accommodate quite a few people (far more than were there on a June Monday), but there is also a huge grassy area that wraps around the sand. There are trees for shade and bbqs for grilling, as well as many uncovered picnic tables (which you do not have to reserve). The sand is soft and free of trash. The sand extends into the water so almost the entire swimming area is sandy-bottomed instead of squishy clay. The swimming area is large. Bathrooms are clean and there are quite a few stalls, plus two family bathroom. Next to the bathrooms is a snow cone shop. On the beach there are paddle board and raft rentals available, as well as free life jackets to borrow. The only downside to this beach was the absence of a shower to hose the sand off our feet when we left. OH, and NO ALCOHOL! This may come as a disappointment to responsible adults, but honestly it really helps to keep out the riff raff. Compared to other beaches, this one was far more family-oriented and respectable. We may have missed cracking open a cold beer on a hot day at the lake, but If that's what it takes to keep out the drunk teenagers, I'm willing to sacrifice. Bring rafts, sand toys, sunscreen, food and water - this beach is a blast. read more

I'm so bummed that I didn't know about this place before this past summer! Such a great lakefront so close to the metroplex! Admission is $10/car M-Th and $20/car F-Sun and holidays. You park, you find a picnic table in the shade or a sunny spot on the soft, fresh-combed sand, and you play for hours! There is a sand hill that the kids can climb and play on, as well as a dock/platform out a ways in the water that you can jump off of. The whole area is roped off from the lake, and they provide lifejackets if you don't bring one of your own. You can also bring floaties, tubes, etc. And pack in your lunch/snacks. They have a shaved ice truck, if you feel like a cool treat. I know there's a little store in the building that houses the restrooms, but we haven't had the occasion to go inside yet, so I can't comment on that. Went today with the family after making online reservations and it was great. Only two hundred cars allowed to help with social distancing. Was clean, not crowded and since we arrive just after opening, we were able to pick a great spot. We barbecued our food before we left in the morning to have it fresh because I didn't know whether they have grills. They do have some that I noticed where by the pavilion areas, but probably for renters if the pavilion. Staff was friendly, police were visible from a distance leading me to believe that if there were issues, they could see it immediately. But this crowd was family friendly, everyone enjoying there time and overall, it is a darn good spot to enjoy Texas man made beaches, which weren't crowded or uncomfortable. read more

A nice little oasis that is close to home. It was very clean and well maintained, the bathrooms were clean and included a foot washing station as well as touchless features. The only hiccup about our visit was when we checked in we were told you must purchase your parking pass online before entering. They do not take payments upon entry. Had an amazing time at Twin Points today! We showed up 20 minutes early before it opened (10am) and waited in our car because it was Memorial Day, glad we did! Got a great shade spot, plenty of huge trees and good grass. The beach is clean and huge, really really great! The dock was a bonus feature to jump off too. Bathrooms were clean. There is a secret place at eagle mountain. It's a beach in north fort worth. Yes such a thing exists. It costs about $20 to get in, in a minivan. The beach is actually really nice. Nice bathrooms. A dock to jump off of. You can have umbrellas and beach cabanas on the beach, tents and canopies on the grass. There are picnic tables and areas to sit and have a party. They had port a Pottys instead of restrooms and soooooooooo many stickers on their field all my kids and me were hurt so bad . Paid 20 still just to get pushed out of the water over lightening claims but there is no lightening. Its irritating to go to a park and pay money for stickers and nasty toilets. I mean it's a park. Don't launch jet skis-----Well normally when you have a park that contains a swim beach and a boat ramp you can happily use both together for a great water day, picnic by the water and swimming at the beach ..... NOT here.... My experience was with jet skis as mentioned and everything is rocks except the roped area for beach and there isn't even a small area to beach jet skis. $20 to launch only is for sure disrespectful to the users with jet skis. read more

This is a great place for families to get together and have plenty of fun and laughter. My grandchildren could stay in the water all day if we would allow them to. Although breaks are needed for due to the sun. Great for party's and BBQ's. I love to see how friends and family take care of each other and keep an eye on each other's children. The park itself is nice and we used to go here a lot, but after our experience on Memorial Day we will not be back! My teenage daughters went for Senior day and were told to come back in an hour because of capacity, they came back and were told that again even though they saw people leaving, they came back a third time and were told that again but they let a car and a truck with a boat in right in front of them the office yelled at them and told them to go but they wanted to talk to the one that they had talked to before and he told them they weren't talking to anyone and they were about to go to jail! They saw people going in on foot so they went and parked where they did and they were letting people in on foot but still told them no, so they went up the hill and filmed them letting people in after they told them no. My girls are bi-racial and have never encountered racism before, but every person they let in when they were told no was white and a lot of people from school that they know said they had to sneak in. So Senior lake day was ruined for them and they felt discriminated against which in 16 and 18 years they had been able to avoid! Just sad and disappointed and will never go back!!! read more

I wish I could rate 0 stars to this piss poor excuse for a fun time me my mother my 2 sisters and 4 brothers came out to celebrate my little brothers 5th birthday when we got there we noticed a sign stating that the swimming and picnic area was closed with it being in the 90s and there being no visible storms we wondered why when we asked staff they told us that there was lighting about 5 miles away and that we could wait for the storm to pass so we waited in a blazing hot car for about an hour and a half for them to let us in again with NO storms being in sight so after waiting what seems like forever they finally let us in and at this point my family was pretty irritated when were driving in the incompetent staff hit my mothers car with the drop gate luckily though it caused no damage to my mothers car once we got in and parked we started to pile out the kids and once we did we heard some alarms saying to evacuate to our cars cause of storms when we literally JUST GOT IN AFTER WAITING 2 HOURS so with us having a limited ammount of time we decided to leave which resulted in my brother (the birthday boy) crying the rest of the way back home so yeah I suggest not going to this lake if you want to have a good time thank you read more
