In addition to regular training, the gym often organizes special events like Parent Night Out, where kids can come, spend time together, and have a lot of fun. My children started jiu-jitsu with no prior experience at all, and now they have already earned their first stripes on their belts. It is clear to see the progress they have made thanks to the coaches' work. This creates a great sense of community and makes the experience even more special for families. I also attend the adult jiu-jitsu classes. The training sessions are intense and very productive. We spend a lot of time working on technique and practical application. After every class, I feel like I could wring out my shirt -- that's how hard we train! It's challenging, but in the best possible way. I am very grateful to Professor Sam for creating such an amazing place and for building a team of coaches who create a truly family-like atmosphere. This is a place where my children and I come as if it were a celebration. I'm not in the best shape (round, I'm told is still a shape:) ) and I have wobbly bits and bits that continue moving when I stop. I'm self conscience. Here that doesn't bother anyone!! All different women from all walks of life with all sorts of shapes can come here and get their workout on! A typical routine consists of kettle bells swings, side lunges, burpees (aka the devil), ring swings, running/rowing, and wall balls. As you workout, you use your body weight against yourself. So when I finally get back there to talk to her and begin my appointment, at long last, the lady acts like she could care less and says well we have 9 minutes she said like with an attitude of total indifference. I asked if she had an appointment immediately after mine? She says "that's how I work" and her tone was still very uninterested in the fact that I just stopped everything I was doing to come down here, changed my clothes, etc.. She just chews her gum and looked at me like I can't event find the word for how disrespected it made me feel.. yeah I would not recommend Eva to be your physical trainer
