Beer plus ice cream equals genius. Twisted Craft & Creamery is located at the Fish House Art Center in the historic fishing village of Port Salerno. Opened in 2017 it is a hybrid ice cream store, bar, and coffee shop surrounded by art studios. If you are so inclined you can float ice cream in a craft beer. You can also order off the full menu of the Twisted Tuna next door. They are dog friendly so feel free to bring your pooch. The view of the Manatee Pocket is divine. Boats are docked feet away and you can book a scenic cruise here. I was in more of a beer mood than ice cream. I checked out their menu and saw that they serve craft beer from local breweries like Funky Buddha, Sailfish, Sweetwater, and Big Top. After checking out their $4 drink special menu I picked the Strawberry Berret Draft from barrel of Monks because anything with strawberries is A-OK by me. Unfortunately I was over charged for my drink and it was a hassle to fix it so I let it ride because I was just so grateful to be out by the water, sipping a beer, and enjoying life that I didn't even care. When you order a special I suggest mentioning it. This a super cute place perfect for enjoying the best of what Florida has to offer.

They really do need better advertisement for this place. It's location is right next to twisted tuna. Our waiter let us know that we get free ice cream. I was on that like white on rice. It was a little odd walking down the walk way behind the restaurant looking for a place I know nothing about. Well, besides where the free ice cream was located. It looks like a once auto garage. Very rusty and man cove looking. After finally finding it, they do have two freezers of home made ice cream. Holy freaking cow! The flavors were unbelievable. The girl helping me, did let me know that they do have a full menu and should've went there for dinner instead. I made a note to go there next time. I'm sure they need the tips. The ice cream was unbelievable and this place will be kept in mind for next time. Dog friendly, staff friendly and if your looking for a quieter location besides twisted tuna this is your place.

Twisted Craft has been closed for about two years. Yelp really let me down on this one!

After a major disappointment finding out that Gabose Pocha was closed for renovations, we ended up…read moreat this Irish pub I used to visit years ago. When we first pulled up, the parking lot was nearly empty, and inside there were only a few people scattered around. My companion went straight to the restroom, so I found a seat at the bar. The first thing we were told was that the kitchen was already closed even though it was only 9 PM which was a bit disappointing since I was hungry. Since it's an Irish pub, they mainly serve beer and wine, so I ordered a Guinness followed by a light beer. Despite the slow start, the night turned out to be unexpectedly enjoyable. We ended up meeting some wonderful people from Italy, Poland, and Turkey. It was especially nice connecting with the gentleman from Turkey, as I had traveled there last year, and we had a great conversation about that experience. The same went for the gentleman from Italy. It was refreshing and easy to talk to everyone. Even after closing, we stayed outside for a while continuing our conversations. The atmosphere inside the pub had a classic Irish feel, very reminiscent of my time in Ireland years ago, with signed celebrity photos decorating the walls adding to its charm. Also money from various countries. The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the night, constantly checking in and making sure we were taken care of. It's been years since I last visited, but after this experience, I'll definitely be going back soon.

We ate in the back dart room which was a little quieter and had a bunch of groups also grabbing fish. The back room has a lot of history and is a cool area. Service was excellent and the waitress was friendly and quick. We will definitely be back.
