It's incredible that this little place has this extensive menu, wiith that being said items listed on the menu were not available. Lamarca Prosecco ice cold, ice cold dark beer on draft for hubby... drinks were a win. The filet was delicious, the mashed potatoes were mediocre at best, and the vegetables that were described to my husband when he ordered were not what was on his plate. I had french onion soup and it had so much oregano (?) and onions in it, I couldn't eat it! The waitress seemed rushed from the onset of our experience, with only two other tables seated at the time when we arrived, and the extensive menu I would think they wouldn't rush you to order. It's a quaint area surrounding the restaurant with a nice park, ample parking and beautiful views of the docks and the water. it is a short walk from the restaurant, the restaurant is not on the water. I would have to say that this is one restaurant you should stay away from. The menu has so many items on it that none of them could possibly be cooked fresh. Myself my husband and a friend had lunch here... All 3 of us ordered different meals, my friend also ordered a meal Togo. Every meal was low quality even the meal that was brought home. Service was slow. Asked for drink refills and never got them. We live here and would not go back. Stay away tourist trap! read more

In a word .... WOW!!! American food, Italian food, French food, New England food and a whole lot more. I moved here from Cape Cod area many years ago and was pleased to see the lobster, Cod and cold water Haddock on the menu! Service was impeccable! I asked our server about the lobster roll and she was honest enough to tell me the lobster meat was frozen but the Maine lobster dinner featured live Maine lobsters. There were 3 of us. One had Cod, the other had a HUGE haddock dinner and I opted for the Italian sausage, peppers and onion sub. All were GREAT. Place was spotless. Plenty of parking. Older crowd at least at lunch time. Beer and wine only. 30 miles from home but next time I am on the area I was definitely stop back in. Gove 'em a try. read more

Not a great experience for us. We sat at the bar. The server behind the bar seemed a little rushed and impatient with the customers or "us" anyway. They don't have Budweiser products or Michelob beer offerings. They offer beer and wine only; no cocktails. I settled for Yuengling and was told "we're out." So, I ordered iced tea. Happy Hour is $1 off House wines and draft beers. Guiness was $6.50 after happy hour discount. Two of us ordered the sliders with fries. The sliders were pretty good, the fries were out of bag and while we both requested extra crispy, they came out regular. Our friend ordered the pot roast dinner. He said the pot roast was good, but the veggies were bland. No "wow" factors for us. Service, Food, and Atmosphere were not impressive. Men's restroom was out of soap. I doubt we will go back. Others have rated this spot higher, so perhaps it was just an "off" night? read more

Waited for an hour and a half after ordering for our food that that was sub par at best, Four other diners came in after us and received their order and had completed their meals before our meal arrived. When complaining to the owner his only comment was the "food was good right". I am a resident of Sebastian and will advise all my friends and business associates of the debacle we experienced at Port Side. Never Again. read more

My wife and I went to Portside for the second time last night. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very attentive and helpful. My wife had the meatballs with penne pasta. She loved it. I had the shrimp bisque and the Jr. Shepherd's Pie. The bisque was spectacular and the shepherd's pie was very satisfying and it was only $9.99 on the bar bites menu. I really loved this place. The only reason we don't come here more often is because we usually like to sit outside and there are a lot of restaurants in the area that have outdoor dining on the water. read more

This was our first time there. We enjoyed our beer and the cod fish and chips. Fish had a light batter on it, crispy enough, no greasy, cooked perfectly as were the fries, light and creamy inside. We were seated right away and our waitress ( Ashley, I'm terrible with names. She has blonde hair and very slim) was very efficient with a great smile. The place itself was surprisingly clean. Tables, menu's, floors, walls! There's a bar in the event you want to sit and socialize with a beer and appetizer. We were seated in the back of the restaurant just outside of a room with flimsy curtains as a door and employees were going in and out, a bit distracting. So I took away a star, I think the little table would be best used for employees who need a quick break. We will go back! read more

Our server was very friendly and the food was hot and fresh BUT I received a steak Philly instead of chicken, and my husband paid for bacon on his burger and received two microwaveable slices. I originally came for the fish and chips, but they don't use cod or haddock, they use a farm raised Basa fish. read more

Sought out as a reliable fish n chips source and was very disappointed. Beer is way overpriced! Who wants to pay $6-8 for a draft beer? Certainly not me. My serving of mediocre (premium charge) haddock was very small for the $20 cost, served with heat lamp fries and a small cup of slaw, (which was good). It does appear that they made a local following, perhaps as more of a protest against other larger restaurants in the area that charge for the view. If I had my intended 2 beer and fish meal, the cost would have approached $45 with tip. I honestly don't see a reason to return with so many other choices nearby. read more

Awesome, Epic !! First time at Port side. Pub &Grill. We were greeted by and epic server LISA MARIE. Called and made reservations the staff was great. Myself, my niece and her fiancé got AYCE crab legs ($54) absolutely awesome! My wife got the fish and chips which was delicious also. LISA MARIE was an awesome, attentive server, once we ordered we didn't have to Ask for anything else. Our drinks and crabs refills were there when we were ready. They have a huge menu, look it up on yelp. They have a large menu, burgers, seafood, lobster, filet mignon. Then we finished with desert, key lime pie, cookies & cream pie, and turtle pie all equally delicious! Went to Portside Pub tonight for a snack and a beer. Had a lobster roll which was covered with mayo. Not good. We were pleased to see that they had Voodoo Ranger IPA from New Belgium on tap. One of our favorites. We were very surprised when we got the bill that each beer was $9.50! I questioned Denise why $9.50? She stated that the beer was 10% alcohol and that's why. Let me state this: New Belgium Voodoo Ranger is 7.5%. There should have NOT been an upcharge for this beer. Unscrupulous or an honest mistake. We shall see which dictates whether or not we go here again. read more

Came here in the late afternoon for some seafood. This place is definitely a local spot and the bar area was full. The menu is overwhelming so I was thankful for the previous pictures taken. I ordered the jumbo peel and eat shrimp which was close to $8 for six jumbo shrimp. They were tasty, juicy but the cocktail sauce was a little too cold and was ice in the middle. I ordered the cod fish and chips and I was underwhelmed. There was very little flavor so I kinda went crazy with the malt vinegar and tartar sauce. My husband's Buffalo chicken sandwich was better and I finished off his big sandwich and left half of my fish and chips. We ended up here for nice covered spot where we could bring our pup since she was out and about with us today. We started at Mulligan's across the street but were sent away because dogs not allowed (even though Google search said yes as to dog friendly). We were so pleased with Portside. Excellent coverage for frontside outside dining as we saw a looming cloud headed our way. Great coverage kept us dry. The menu had so many excellent choices and specials it was hard to choose. I ended up with etouffee with scallops and was flavorful and delicious! My husband had the snitzel. The portions were huge. I definitely had leftovers. Even greater was the service! Sandy was so incredible taking quality care of our dining experience ensuring we stayed dry and comfortable when the rain shower poured. She also took the best concern for our pup bringing her a bowl of ice water, dog biscuit (broke it up for her since she's a tiny girl with not so great teeth), and she never complained of stepping over her leash since we gave her (pup) lots slack. We landed on Portside because our original choice was closed on Mondays and we were looking for a place that was dog friendly with outdoor seating. Not only were they dog friendly, they're dog lovers! They brought out a water bowl and treats for the pup. The food was really good with large portions (I only ate half of my pasta). The service was quick and super friendly. I can't believe I've been in town for six months and this was my first visit. Will definitely be back. read more

Been living in the area since 2016 with limited options for food and food with later dining options. Tried all the big box stores (Squid Lips - and Mulligans - ). So, 1.5yrs ago I decided to try this place out due to over-hearing someone talk about the Jambalaya. Best I have had around and for the money, a lot of food. Very fresh chicken and ingredients. Took my brother and nephews back a month later and they were very impressed with the King Crab and Mussels. Hooked!! Staff is always very kind and hard working. Sometimes they are running hard and can take a little longer. What is important, that I recently learned, is that each meal is hand made to their order with a chefs passion that comes through. I could care less for a little extra wait bc it's a great place to hang and catch a game too. I eat here at least once a week and if I'm lucky twice. The Key West sandwich is the best fried fish Sammy to eat in house. And if you aren't a seafood fan, check out their land proteins in Sammy form. For me, this place is a hidden gem! read more

I've eaten here quite a few times, overall I give them a solid 2.5. I have only sat at the bar and bar service is always great, drink prices are reasonable. Food can be hit or miss, especially pasta dishes. Not a fan of the mini shells they use in every pasta dish. Last night was an exception, one of the dishes was shrimp fra diablo. The dish was great, nice big jumbo shrimp, spicy with great flavor and over penne pasta as opposed to the mini shells. Unfortunately that's where it fell down. The waitresses work hard. Some of the food is good. Special was branzino Mediterranean sea bass. The fish came butterflied covered in mozzarella cheese. It was gross to look at. Nowhere did it say butterflied or that there would be cheese on it. ............................The owner was very rude and belligerent and showed be the invoice that shows it was called branzino butterflied. I tried to tell him he needed to add in the description there was cheese on it‍. He followed use out into the parking lot to continue to show me his invoice. Sad behaviour. Had he listen about the concern with cheese I probably wouldn't have wrote this review‍. But he was not pleasant and not interested in the customer. Wont be back. read more

This place is the real deal. Excellent Service, Excellent food ay a really fair price. Nice cold Beer too. I ate from the $6.95 menu not because I'm cheap (weel I am cheap but..) but because waitress said is was good and a nice serving. I had the fish pieces and fries. It was delicious. My friend (who's much cheaper than me) also ate from the $6.95 menu and had Shepards Pie. It was a healthy portion and very good. It actually leans to the Irish bar motif. I think the owner is Irish.
