I'm definitely a fan. I like the freshness and the menu options. I tried the mahi mahi fish taco and I am sold on it. It comes in a hard shell tortilla that is wrapped with a soft shell tortilla. I felt like the hard shell wasn't necessary and added a chewy component that I didn't care for. I did like the textural contrast that it provided though. I plan on trying one of the burritos at some point. There isn't a location close to me, but I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area. read more

This review covers the good the bad and the ugly of this restaurant. Good food good menu and nice recipes. The salsa was markable. Now the bad. the restaurant was absolutely filthy, there were fingerprints all over the table, the napkin holders were dirty. And the table top was literally sticky. There was detritus in the windowsills. The lights had thick greasy dust all over them the floor was sticky--near the grill it was slippery and dangerous. Additionally the backsplash of the grill had not been cleaned for a while. The new dishes and utensils were piled in front of grease drips and spots. The non-handicapped bathroom had been swept or mopped, but the corners remained dirty. Now for the ugly as I was starting to leave, one of the employees were starting to clean the tables with a filthy rag-one table after the other. She did not bother to wipe down or even move the napkin holders. They were filthy too. Although this restaurant had potential, I will not be returning nor will my friend. read more

Loved my salad. I have been to the Parkville location and wasn't at all impressed. Thought I would give this another go and I'm glad I did. I came in at 1130 on a Thursday and it was packed! The line went quickly and honestly I got my food pretty fast. Just as the name states everything is fresh. The restaurant was clean and well lit. I wanted a salad and was tired of drive thru salad. My spicy thai chicken salad hit the spot. It was spicy! The salad dressing was so good I should have asked for extra dressing. The portions are large. It comes with a side. I wasn't sure what to get so for the sake of picking something I chose the potato salad and it was really good too. It was made with red potatoes... my favorite! I'm a huge fan of well-executed fast-casual mainstays (In N Out, Shake Shack, Chipotle, et al), and my first couple dining experiences at Twisted Fresh lend me to believe that this little shop belongs near the top of that list. In reading reviews for this location, I knew it would be busy on a weekday around lunch time, so I met my friend around 11:30 and have to divulge that it was master planning at its best. That's because at 11:55 am, the line exploded away from the counter, down the middle of the restaurant, and out the door. By 12:05, I'd estimate that there were a solid 30+ people in line, which made for a very loud, and very crowded dining room. On the advice of a Twisted Fresh veteran, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken wrap. I thought it was fantastic. I love rich, flavorful food, and this was certainly that. The meat was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the veggies alongside in the wrap complemented it perfectly. The buffalo sauce was applied liberally (yay!) and was a nice compromise between ranchy and spicy. I opted for the most unique side dish on offer this day, and that happened to be a quinoa salad, replete with cashews and cranberries, among other Asian flavors. It, too, was delicious. The facility lets the food down a bit, as it's very standard (read: boring) strip mall stuff. Would love to see them take the obvious success they've had (remember - that line!) and spruce the place up a bit. The possibilities seem endless here. You can order wraps, tacos, sandwiches or salads. If gets better! You can have any of the wraps or tacos as a salad. The Maui Maui tacos are really popular and it's pretty good as a taco and salad! The chicken Greek gyro wrap is good too. When I'm lucky, they'll have some of the edamame and corn side dish left. It's amazing! Light, crisp and fresh. Definitely one of their best "twisted" options. Things can get a little hectic during the lunch hour so, I find myself dining in for a quick weekday dinner or, during the weekend. This is a new business near JCCC. I was actually headed to eat at another restaurant in the area and noticed they were now opened so gave them a try. I ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken wrap. It comes with your choice of potato salad, chips, or an apple. I chose the apple as potato salad or chips didn't sound appealing with the wrap I chose. The wrap was lacking in chicken and had an abundance of the Asian slaw which overpowered the taste of everything else. It had good flavor, but it would be nice to taste the other items on the wrap. I pulled out a few pieces of chicken so I could taste them. I did not taste much spice on them alone, although the overall wrap did have some heat to it. Not sure if the jerk seasoning is added to the wrap instead of the chicken? The chicken pieces were a little on the dry side. The service was friendly and quick. The set up looks like it could be a nightmare if they get busy. The register, menu, and ordering area is right inside the door and that seems to be where you also pick up your food. This area is not very big so if a Chipotle like line formed, it would be quickly out the door. The space is very open with ample seating. Nothing exciting decor wise. I will stop by again and give their tacos and burgers a try. It seemed like most of the people had tacos or salads as I looked around or listened to people ordering as they came in. TF is right next to my office. Strictly out of convenience I go there pretty regularly, at least 2-3 times a week for lunch. I have always had great experiences here. The food is tasty, extremely fresh, and in most cases relatively healthy. My favorite items: 1. Any of the tacos... I recommend asking for the siracha-honey aoli for all of these, because it's awesome. a)they all convert nicely to a salad if that's what you're looking for 2. It's a special a lot, and when it isn't, it's not on the menu, but... the "kung pow" chicken wrap is one of their best items. When it's not on special, they'll still make it, so ask for it. It's spicy, sweet, and loaded with chicken, quinoa and cashews, so it's pretty healthy. Only Negatives: It can get crowded and loud, and in the winter it's cold. This place has become pretty popular, so people are always in and out, and it's packed for lunch most days. I whole heatedly recommend eating at Twisted Fresh. enjoy. read more

I called up around 8:30 with a very customized order (this on the side, extra blah, etc) thanks to my picky roommates hahha He didn't even hesitate, which I LOVE! I hate when places act all annoyed if you have complicated orders. Ordering was extremely fast, efficient, and friendly. Food was HOT and ready for pick up when they said it would be. The food is flat out amazing. We always get the shrimp tacos. Beware, the pick is HOT. also got the Kung pao wrap, Thai wrap, and Caribbean Jerk wrap. This would be my second time going and I love this place. The food is fresh and so good. I got the alarm Burger this time and it was spicy but a good, not overpowering, spicy. The meat was cooked just right and the grilled onions was a definite must that didn't disappoint. The service is pretty good as well. The only thing that I don't really care for is the sides. I've only had the shrimp and fish tacos, but the fish tacos are my favorite in the city. The shrimp tacos are good too. You get 3 for around $8, and can add one for $1, to get 4 for under $10 or so. I drive here when ever I want fish or shrimp tacos, I've given up finding better ones any where else. I also love that there is no after taste or feeling sluggish after eating here, it's great flavor and high quality fresh food. This was our first visit to this location. The staff was very friendly and fun! The restraunt itself was pretty disappointing. The floor was so dirty, food everywhere. I even slipped on food splatter trying to make it to the restroom which, by the way had no toilet paper. After ordering our food at the counter we then had to clean off a table as all of them had food crumbs all over. I ordered the California Turkey wrap. It was a basic turkey wrap without any flavor.
