Please support this fantastic local gem instead of hitting up Chipotle! The food is incredibly fresh and generously portioned. I got a chicken bowl with a side tortilla and a Mexican Coke for $14 which will be enough for two meals. They offer a few outdoor seats, a window rail, and ample indoor seating for a relaxed vibe. My only gripe is the tablet-based ordering system. I prefer chatting with staff, but they're super approachable and happy to answer questions. The chill lunch atmosphere was perfect, though I wish they stayed open past 4 PM.6 or 7 would be ideal. Amazing food, great service, and a must-visit spot!

What does one do for breakfast when everyone and their mom is at Mildred's and the wait for food is 45 minutes at Banksia? Please go across the street to Wrap It Up!!! As a frequenter of the library who can't seem to function without a breakfast sandwich on the weekend, this is a predicament I find myself in often. The great news is that Wrap It Up is lightning fast with service and delicious! If you're paying with card, you can use a tablet at the back of the restaurant to order, which makes it super easy to pick all your toppings. If you're paying with cash, you can order at the counter and walk along the line to pick. For breakfast, you can build your own sandwich, tacos, or burrito! Tons of topping options! The portions are huge for cheap! And they have just about every meat option you could think of for lunch and dinner. The sandwich and tacos were DELICIOUS. And everything came out super quick. The owners are the best part of eating here. They are so sweet and helpful and happy to be there. They ran out of potatoes when we went, and they offered us a substitution of a huge portion of rice and salsa instead! They checked on us several times to make sure everything was tasting great. Can't wait to come back here often! The parking situation is a little challenging I'm sure, but hack - park at the library parking garage, grab your food to go, eat on the rooftop deck of the library, and validate 1 hour of free parking!

    Big burrito!

I live so close to this place but have never tried it. Today I did and mot sure why it took me so long. This place is a gem! If paying with credit card, you cam use a device to order and then select all the ingredients you want. Love this. I ordered a chicken burrito with pretty much all the fixings, salsa verde, and added avocado. So delicious! Not necessarily inexpensive but the portions are HUGE. Easily could be 2 meals (well if I wasn't so hungry after yoga today). And I chose to not have it covered in nacho sauce but that's an option as well. Can't wait to try out more. I hear the breakfast tacos are the jam!

Visited for brunch on a Saturday morning. When nearby spots were packed, here it was nicely chill. We ordered breakfast at the kiosk; lunch is available about 10:30. Even though they weren't busy, our order still took about 10 minutes per person because it was made fresh and there were only 2 employees. Both employees visited us to ask how everything tasted, and they were very friendly. The food tasted very good and the portions were fair for the cost. Compared to locally owned Tex-Mex spots, you should be very satisfied with the quality and service.

Wednesdays - Mexican Chicken Soup. GET IT.

There's a reason this little shop survived COVID, the ensuing recession, getting booted from their food court, and now having their own place. It's AMAZING. Their regular menu items are all fresh and delicious, their specials will change your LIFE! (I'm having the Wednesday Mexican Soup right now). Just do it.

We take our kids to crown center multiple times a year (ice skating, restaurants, coterie theatre…read moreare all wonderful). The parking system up to now has been easy to navigate and validate at any shop. The new "frictionless" parking system is an obnoxious data grab, irritating to set up (I do not want to make an account for every place I park), and impossible for people who choose not to have a smartphone on them at all times (me). :) I'm sure it cost a lot to implement, but every person I've talked to has also found it frustrating. Will be ice skating elsewhere from now on and choosing alternative parking from the crown center garages whenever possible.

There are shops like Hallmark, Crayola, Starbucks, convenience store, tea store, souvenir store, Halls (luxury store, mostly expensive goods), local KC good store and so many different restaurants. The hallway connects it to entertainment places like Hallmark visitor center, Kaleidoscope, Sealife and Lego Center. In the plaza they also had ice rink and Christmas decorations. There's indoor parking, street car stop and Union station (minutes away) for guests. Throughout the day, lots of tourists, including families with kids visit this center. The restaurants have varieties like bbq, pizza and sandwiches. Sheridan's frozen custard is a really popular ice cream store. It is also connected to Westin hotel via passageway. I did struggle a bit the signs and directions. There were not clear in some corners. Security personnel are available throughout the plaza, we took some direction help from them. But overall it's a prime spot in KC.

We ordered from Streats and Don Felipe's. And we ordered there, from the kiosk, but lots of people were placing online orders or door dash and then coming to pick up. I got the Birria Ramen (life-changingly good) and my friend got the steak quesadilla. Together they formed the ultimate shared meal. I will be back for more of that! What I loved most about this place was the simplicity of the concept. It's not a huge space but there are over 15 restaurants! And while some have other locations in town, most seemed new! The only downside was some of the Doordashers didn't seem to understand the pickup system... you just scan the order on your phone and it finds the order in the system. Simple, but not intuitive. Luckily there was a window if you're really lost and everyone was super friendly.

I stopped in at 11am and ordered lunch inside on the kiosk to take to work with me. There were quite a few kitchens that were closed at the time, but I still had the option of over 10 businesses to choose from. My first selection was "not available" when I tried to submit my order, so plan B was some chicken wings from Mr. Wingz. After ordering you can go back to your car and wait for a text or sit on a bench or stool in the tiny claustrophobic waiting area that resembles a tiny bus station lobby. After a 12 minute wait my name popped up on a screen and a lady behind the counter called out my name and I was on my way. There are lockers that are used for Grub-Hub style pick-up's. Although I was not impressed with my food, the concept is certainly unique and for better or worse, what the future holds. Ralphie predicts that these multi-tenant ghost kitchens will be popping up everywhere soon. Myself; I prefer Parlor a few blocks over for variety and a fun Dine-In experience.

This place is a decent stop off to kill some time but if you really want shopping you need to go to the larger stores at other locations. There is one bright spot, Macy's. Why? This store is genius. In this unassuming store they have placed a Starbucks, an oasis for men waiting for their wives while they finish shopping. The mere act of selecting flip flops can take a woman over two hours -this is a fact. For the first time in my life I sat down and enjoyed an anchor store comfortably without pressuring my wife to go. This alone gives the entire area a bump to three stars. Of course, its small enough my wife can't find what she's looking for and we end up driving over to Oak Park anyway.
