    Their food truck and line
    Alex F.

Community, health, and AMAZING Food. Are some of the themes I think about when I see and eat Twisted Masala. Food: When I first lined up to order, Amanda came out of the truck to talk to me and take my order. She took the time to ask what I liked and recommend what she feels I would enjoy. She was very personable, knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. My order was delicious, healthy, perfect. I ordered the red chicken bowl. It's from what I'm guessing kinda like tandori chicken with bell peppers and basmati rice. The chicken was so flavorful, the rice so soft, the bell peppers and sauce was so delicious. I ordered spicy, and it was good. Not over powering yet just enough. It helped combine everything together. If you enjoy Indian food, or you want to eat healthy and sustainably, this is a great place to try. Instagram/ social media: I've followed Twisted Masala on Instagram for quite some time. They do a great job highlighting what they have and also promoting their food and brand. One can see the community openness and welcoming feeling it has. One can definitely see the passion and hard work that goes in to who they are and in their food. Overall impression: I appreciate Twisted Masala for who they are. They sell merchandise to help a charity to fight hunger. They are local and are proud of bringing what they have to more people. I love their welcoming sense of community. It's a small local business and I'm all about it. But I appreciate their passion, hard work, and dedication in all of what they do. By the way. They also do a meal prep service which I'm planning on starting. I looks amazing and good. So try it out. Try something new. Open your tastebuds and your mind. Give this business a chance. And one taste will have you hooked. If you like Indian food, you'll love this place. I give my love and support in this business in all that they do and I appreciate what they do.

Murdered it before I could even take a pic.

I was iffy about this place only because the menu seemed so simple and I was looking for straight curry flavor in my mouth. Thought since the menu seemed so healthy that they would skimp out on the sauce. So my sister orders and I end up sharing with her. She got the red chicken plate with spicy sauce. I don't remember what it's called. I just remember a bed of spinach, rice, red chicken, I think onions and the curry sauce. Okay, so it didn't look like a lot of sauce, but once I tried a bite, I was blown away because that little bit of curry sauce packed a hell of a punch! It wasn't spicy at all. It was delicious. I had regret not getting myself a plate lol. The lady that took my sissy's order was really nice. She kept calling her sunshine. Sweet. Lol

Salad Bowl: spinach, basmati rice, cottage cheese cubes, red onions and Greek Sauce

The Twisted Masala came out to my facility and I am very thankful they did. They had a very unique menu and the choices were refreshing. I ordered a salad bowl with spinach, basmati rice, cottage cheese cubes, red onions and Greek sauce. This dish was very filling and left me satisfied. I wish the Greek sauce was stronger in flavor but overall I was happy with this dish. The young lady taking orders, Amanda, had a great personality and was very friendly and that definitely added to the overall service.

I told myself I'd only take one bite.... lol The Red Chicken Bowl is amazing, seasoned to perfection with the hot sauce! The portions are huge and usually end up sharing with my wife.

Find out where you could try the Twisted Masala hummus! Coming soon in 2021.

Awesome food, superior service and friendly staff. They make you feel like family, if you are still hungry from the first plate they will fill you plate up again like Mom used to do. Ask about their secret menu. :) keep up the amazing work on the truck and with our community love

Rice was undercooked and dry worst food I ever tasted had to throw it away. I wasted 19$ for that shrimp and fish bowl, super disappointing.

Trying it out for the first time Garlic Chicken

At 1:30 Wednesday at New York Life complex I decided I would give Twisted Masala a shot. I'm glad I stoped bye to check it out. I tried the Garlic Red chicken, the flavors were mild nothing too over whelming. Ingredients rice, tandoori chicken, lettuce, corn, sprinkled tortilla strips, black beans. The food wholesome not greasy. The only thing I was a little disappointed the lemon aid size the offered was too large. I'd like to try the vegan bowl next time.

I tried twisted masala for the first time and I was already expecting it to be great but it was greater than great. The food you can tell was very high-quality and just melted in your mouth while you had an explosion of flavors. You will be greeted by the most energetic sweetest couple that will recommend you their personal favorites along with catered ideas to your needs to make you fall in love with their food. Whether it's a quick bite or dinner or lunch they will not disappoint. Me and a few buddies went out to grab some drinks and some quick food and food was delivered at a reasonable good time and it was hot and fresh. Would definitely come back over and over again.

Garlic Chicken - Not good out of 10.

We had vendors out for our professional development day and figured I would try it out. There's no nice way of putting this, but the garlic chicken was not good. The chicken was cold, no garlic taste or flavor, and the texture didn't taste right at all. It was oddly clumpy. I tried eating it, but couldn't after a few bites. I threw away the entire thing. My co-worker didn't even attempt to eat hers because she said it did not look appetizing. I would love to support your business, but you gotta step up your game.

Stopped here on a whim & it was totally worth it. I loved the cauliflower rice & sauce. Unique taste, definitely recommend!

Don't get it Twisted, this little food truck is straight up good! I had the burrito with twisted rice, red chicken, hot sauce, grilled red onions, grilled jalapenos and spinach!!! I am salivating thinking about that red chicken...the spice and flavor by the way, they have vegetarian options too! I'm glad I got to experience this little food truck, I will definitely be back

This is one of my new favorite food trucks! I ordered from them for the second time today, and I'll definitely keep coming back. Amanda remembered me from a few weeks ago which made my day! The food is amazing, and the customer service is even better. It was nice to find another local food truck with a solid vegan option.

Red Chicken bowl deliciousness!!! Looooove everything from these people!!!

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend this place enough.

Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!
