two trays of cookies and a cookie

The cookies here were decent, it's just a carbon copy of crumbl cookie, (or perhaps crumbl is a copy of this place, who knows) By far my favorite was the banana crème pie cookie, while my least favorite was the chocolate chip, as it was essentially a solid piece of cookie dough.

We came for a gift card but couldnt leave without some cookies, they looked so good. The Swizzle Sugar cookie was my favorite, a sugar cookie with coconut frosting and raspberry drizzle. The Crinkle chocolate cookie was my daughter's favorite. Great service. She was nice, super helpful, and fast.

As the winner and runner-up of the most recent Utah Taste Off, I was pretty excited to give Twisted Sugar a try. I went on a Saturday to this location, which is pretty far out of my way. The things I do for treats, guys. The teenagers who were working both seemed pretty unenthused, and weren't incredibly helpful when I was asking about the differences between the "levels" of the cookies. I got the Sugardoodle and the Twisted Sugar. I didn't like the Sugardoodle at all, but I'm sure others might. I guess a sugar cookie base with snickerdoodle type frosting just wasn't what I was expecting, but now I know. The Twisted Sugar was OK. I actually prefer the coconut lime sugar cookie at Crave Cookies in Midvale, and it's much closer to me (plus it's a bigger cookie). I also got a soda while I was in there: Sprite Zero with sugar free coconut. Thankfully I looked up in time to see the employee using regular Sprite, not Sprite Zero. So I reminded him, and he apologized and started over. I'm not diabetic, but if someone ordered a diet soda and received a full-sugar soda, that could be pretty problematic. For me personally, I'd just rather have my sugar in a cookie than in a drink, is all. Hopefully he used sugar free coconut instead of regular. Overall, not something I'd go out of my way for again. I could see myself giving it another go if I'm in the area, and I would maybe try a regular Frosted Sugar, or the chocolate chip (employee recommendation). And now that I'm looking at the menu again, the Oatmeal Cookie Butter might be worth another trip. We will see. For now, I'll stick with Crave.

These cookies are amazing! They have so much flavor and are huge! When receiving the box it felt heavy, and when I opened the box I knew why lol these cookies have so much in them. The flavors work well in cookies., it's savory and sweet, it definitely is a cookie place you must try.

First time here and it has some yummy cookies for sure!! My favorite is banana cream pie cookie ( yeah it really tastes like this pie! But maybe even better! Whip cream and all.) and the twisted sugar cookie. (Coconut, raspberry and fresh lime? What's not to love?) They even have delicious favored sodas! A broad menu. I will be back!

Tried the Popsicle drink! I love Fanta and this was awesome.

I know there are a lot of sweets and soda shops popping up around town but this is one that you should stop at every time you drive by. I have been a few times to this location and every dang time the people are so nice!! The cookies are yummy, the cinnamon roll was the bomb and the drink I tried this last time rocked my world. I may just be the newest twisted sugar regular... don't tell my husband.

Have a sweet tooth? This is the place. Friendly service and a wide selection of drinks and cookies to choose from. Got a 3 pack of crinkle, chocolate chip, and banana cream. Each of them were delectable in their own way. The crinkle had a great chocolate kick, the chocolate chip had the good ol fashioned original cookie taste, and the banana cream was out of this world delicious - never had one like it. The cashier ladies were also very kind and attentive. Stop by yelpers!

Most treats are chilled in the glass cases, which is a lovely touch. We find that it's quite difficult to pick just one or two treats per person. I don't have much self-control with these delicacies, so I make a conscientious effort to only stop in like once a month because everything I've tried is just. so. good.

The Weeknd has a song on his Trilogy album named "Twenty Eight", hence the idea for the cake design. I specifically ordered this cake for the cake to have the song cover with "Twenty Eight" on it. I reached out to Cakes By Edith on instagram, sent them my cake inspiration and they sent back the exact picture I was wanting, with the song cover for Twenty Eight on the cake. When my boyfriend went to pick up the cake yesterday, the cake was missing the "Twenty Eight" part of the song cover entirely. This completely defeated the purpose of the cake as I am also in bodybuilding prep so I wasn't even going to be able to eat the cake, I just wanted it to take birthday pictures with and then to freeze and eat later after my bodybuilding show. And it's a complete missed opportunity as I only turn 28 once. I sobbed when I saw the cake because I knew even though I couldn't eat it, I was excited to have my perfect cake and Cakes By Edith did not deliver. They did not offer to fix it, nor give a price adjustment. Poorly handled business as I am a very unsatisfied customer. I hate to leave a bad review for a local business but since Cakes By Edith did not even attempt to offer to make things right, I cannot support this business and I will be ordering from a different local baker in the future. I will add pictures/screenshots from the instagram chat. What my inspiration was, and what I received.

It was early, and it was already busy. TIPs & TRICKs Follow the rules: Get the tray, then the wax paper liner, then use the individual wax papers at the stations to grab what you want. While you're doing that, pay attention to the pricing, because it can add it. To see the plain butter croissants empty already was shocking, but when we told the employee she came back to not only stock it but came to us first and let us pick which ones we wanted off the tray That was very nice The pain du chocolat looked good and were lacking in depth and flakiness of the crunch The Chausson aux Pommes - was really good - They could have used another minute or two in the oven to get that golden brown. They were looking like the pastly white guy at the beach while everyone else had a tan The mochi Dubai Chocolate donut was very good. The total was almost fifty bucks.... I told my wife that we could have about 40 croissants for that price if we were in Paris. C'est la vie! Look for a chain - Its pretty good. If you plan to get to-go, you go to the to-go counter and they take your order. This time, we ate for here. Once we were seated with our menus, the staff probably took 10-15 to take our orders, which was a bummer. Though the place was pretty empty (we went really at 11 AM), the staff wasn't efficient enough. For drinks, we got the Cafe au lait and cappuccino. Again, these two didn't hit. The Cafe au lait was really watered down, and it sort of tasted like tea?? Nothing like the cafe au laits I've had in the past. My friend got the cappuccino, and I heard from her that the cappuccino was mediocre. We decided to share pastries: the mille feuille aux fraises, porcupine, and kouign-amann. The mille feuille is considered to be a local favorite! This pastry was good overall, but the Napoleon was really hard and there was a lot of cream. Plus, there were minimal strawberries. We ordered the porcupine because it was so interesting.. I don't think I've seen anything like this anywhere else. However, I felt like the porcupine was the most disappointing. There is a thick layer of chocolate coating, and the inside is a cake, chocolate, I presume? (The flavor lacked richness, so I literally had no idea what I putting in my mouth). In between the two layers of chocolate cake, there was thick cream and rasberry jam. It looked good, though, like a black forest cake! The kouign-amann was the best pastry we tried today. It was perfectly sweet, but I feel like it should be more airy and crunchy. The kouign-amann here is really dense and stiff. However, I don't think this pastry was a loss because of the perfection in sweetness. Im glad I gave Delice a try, but I don't think I'll be back.
