Best bakery in Utah--hands down. Highly recommend! It's tucked away in an unassuming strip mall, but don't let that fool you--the quality of the baked goods is phenomenal. A perfect blend of Korean and French inspiration. We have been coming here for years and have probably tried every item she makes and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh, beautiful, and absolutely delicious.

First timer over here and this place did NOT disappoint! Love supporting local businesses like this one. Met Kyung and she is as genuine as they come. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into these eye-catching desserts , and yes, they are as delicious as they look‼ The service was excellent - when you ask about a specific dessert, they describe the ingredients (what flavor it is, is it cake with mousse, or is it cheesecake) perfectly. Cute and quaint decor inside, simple, yet inviting. Wishing I lived closer to this gem as their desserts are just perfection; eye candy and indulges the sweet cravings (it's not overly sweet, just the perfect amount).

Wishing you a speedy recovery ‍

I stopped by here today but the owner was injured in an accident. I was looking forward to tasting you amazing looking treats! Get well soon ‍

Kyung Bakery reopened after a year of closing for the owner to recover from a hit-run incident. This bakery is such a gem! My fav is the soufflé cheesecake, you just can't go wrong with any of the cakes. Everything is handmade and fresh, unlike the franchise bakeries that have opened recently. Kyung bakery is worth it, skip the franchises!

This bakery is famous for Mellon bread. My boys love them. I heard she is back from long recovery of hit and run, I went back to buy some Mellon breads. And I decided to try those custard filled shell breads. OMG! Custard cream was amazing! No cheap custard flavor. Real high-quality custard you will taste. I can't wait to eat again!

It's located right there, just no sign at the top of the building. Very friendly!!!

I am so ecstatic that I found this cute little Korean bakery! We arrived on a Saturday evening right before their 7 PM closing time! The man in front was so helpful and friendly with educating us on the baked good being made with low sugar and baked fresh! The woman was super sweet with helping us with some choices and even gave my son a free cinnamon twist item! This isn't a sit-down spot, meant for to-go only, but they never rush you and just so pleasant! We got a melon bun, mint chocolate brownie, and flourless chocolate cake! They did not taste TOO sweet, and was still delicious to satiate my sweet tooth!!! Please give this bakery a try!!! You will not regret it!!! They also do event cakes that can be ordered a head of time!

Ordered the sweet potato cake a day before my birthday and there was no problem! Went to pick it up the day after and it was ready. The lady who works there is so nice! I was very tempted to get some other cakes/breads but I thought it would be best to get other stuff next time. The cake itself is so delicious! I grew up eating sweet potato cake and it was just as delicious, maybe even better, than what I remember. Fresh fruit and cream, and tasty sweet potato purée in between layers of cake! Will visit again.

Kyung's is teeny and a slight challenge to locate, but as with all the best things in life, worth the effort! It is in the strip of businesses north of Paradise Buffet. Head to the end, and be on the look out! She's in between the graphics studio and acupuncture/herbal medicine shop. Parking is so weird here, but I've always been able to find a space, so no complaints! As the signage states, it's a Korean bakery with French pastries and cakes, too! The lovely owner/baker greeted me, passionately described her creations, and explained that the focus is on clean ingredients and lower sugar baked goods (that's not to say these are of the health food variety, it's definitely still a bakery). I can certainly get behind that! There are even some gluten free options (gotta love mochi!). Oh, and as I was struggling to determine which treats I just HAD to have, I was gifted a chocolate chip cookie on the house. My heart! On the shelf against the wall, you will find the Korean items all packaged in cellophane: various buns, breads, scones, and even some savory stuff. In the case are the more American style sweets: slices of cakes, little pies and tarts, then whole mini cakes, cookies, and even donuts! I was first intrigued by a glittering sugar topped melon bun, but then I saw a green pea filled something and knew I had to try that! I've seen sweet bean filled breads, but never pea (household consensus is weird, but good). Next, I selected a twirly chocolate custard filled roll, which is basically like soft bread and chocolate pudding (in a good way!). I enjoyed unrolling it and dipping the pieces into the filling in the center. Then, a still-warm crumb dusted doughnut had to be mine. Last, I selected a sweet baby flourless chocolate cake topped with scarlet berries, and made that my last goodie to take home. Are flourless chocolate cakes trite? Yes, but consider a great part of that is that, when done well, they are simply delicious, so of course you're going to find them all over the place. There are many subpar versions that have given this dessert a bad rap, but Kyung's? Rich, dark, decadent, fudgey, moist, and not too sweet. In a word, perfect. I adored the berries, so I supplemented the few that garnished my treasure with some frozen ones I had at home. I LOVE that Kyung's has mini treats or cakes by the slice, and in an ideal world you'd get them all, but since you probably can't, if they've got the flourless chocolate cake on display, you better snatch it up before I do. Items range from under $2 to about $12 for larger cakes. They had a sign up requesting three days for custom orders, and I'm sure pricing is adjusted accordingly. There was also a small sign stating free coffee is available with purchase. They didn't offer it, and I didn't want any, but good to know if that's your jam, and perhaps you just need to request it. This bakery is teeny. There is nowhere to sit, and barely room for more than one customer. Just plan on gathering up as much as you can carry and taking it home, but also make sure you've got something to sneakily eat in the car. I loved this place!

Mikyung was injured in a hit and run. We will be closed until further notice.

If you're looking for traditional Korean baked goods, look no further! She has the best pastries and cakes. I hope she gets better and can reopen soon.

If you're looking for pastries that are as stunning as they are delicious, Fillings & Emulsions…read moreabsolutely delivers. Their fruit-shaped creations are little works of art--so realistic it almost feels wrong to eat them... almost. Each pastry is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. The pistachio was incredibly tasty, though definitely on the richer side, so it's one you might want to savor slowly. The raspberry had a beautifully balanced sweetness with a vibrant, delicious filling. The lemon was very zingy--almost intensely so--but still delightful if you enjoy bold citrus flavors (just maybe not an entire one in a single sitting). The standout, though, was the mango. Easily the winner. It had such a bright, powerful flavor, and the fresh mango inside made every bite feel special. Everything about it--from taste to presentation--was just beautiful. The only slight letdown was the macarons. While still good, they didn't quite match the intensity and uniqueness of the pastries and felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you appreciate creative, high-quality desserts. It's clear a lot of skill and care goes into every piece. I loved the building that the pastry shop was in, as it had a "lunch room" feel to it. There are a few restaurants inside so there are options and there's plenty of seating.

The sweet cashier recommended Strawberry & Mango, so that's what we got. They were delicious! I think the mango was my personal favorite. The location is in a food mall, which I wasn't expecting but it was so cute inside. I wish we had more time to check out the other vendors but we'll have to come back. On a separate note, it was kind of hard to find a trash can.

He came right out and walked my order to my car and was so pleasant and personable. He shared with me his family's story about how these bite sized, individual pies came to be, and how him and his family take great pride in these pies and the family recipe. I sampled all their flavors and they were pretty fantastic. The lemon merengue was an instant favorite - the lemon had a punch full of flavor but not overpowering at all. The fruit tart was just a great balance of fruit flavor with the custard. The heavenly chocolate with Andes mints is a fantastic one to try as it's a seasonal one, but perfect for the holiday season. The coconut cream was an instant hit with just the right amount of sweetness. And the crust - wow, it's spot on that compliments every flavor of these bite sized little heavens-in-your-mouth. Overall, these miniature pies are the way to go for wanting a taste of every flavor of pie - without having to have a slice of a regular sized pie. Plus, in my opinion, it's more fun to eat, share with someone, or just to be able to give yourself a treat anytime.

The Weeknd has a song on his Trilogy album named "Twenty Eight", hence the idea for the cake design. I specifically ordered this cake for the cake to have the song cover with "Twenty Eight" on it. I reached out to Cakes By Edith on instagram, sent them my cake inspiration and they sent back the exact picture I was wanting, with the song cover for Twenty Eight on the cake. When my boyfriend went to pick up the cake yesterday, the cake was missing the "Twenty Eight" part of the song cover entirely. This completely defeated the purpose of the cake as I am also in bodybuilding prep so I wasn't even going to be able to eat the cake, I just wanted it to take birthday pictures with and then to freeze and eat later after my bodybuilding show. And it's a complete missed opportunity as I only turn 28 once. They did not offer to fix it, nor give a price adjustment. Poorly handled business as I am a very unsatisfied customer.
