The Custard Stand, since 1949 it was built and founded right there on that corner, imagine the history the building could talk about. And let me say, it had a line the entire time I was there, and drove back by again a day later. They offer wonderful, ice cream, floats, sundaes, all the true desert things we all come to love. But they also had an extensive menu with salads, chili, even hotdogs, etc. truly a little amazing gem right in the heart of tiny little Sesser. Prices are absolutely amazing, $10 bucks a family of 4 can quite literally all get a tiny ice cream. It was thick, great ice cream too, my root beer float was very good. I was in Greenville, IL and happened to drive by the Milk House. I was SO excited! The Milk House is huge! It has a large case filled with milk and creamer. There were several tables to sit and enjoy the ice cream. And it looked like maybe they had an event space as well.
