Ok, so I'm not a huge gamer.. but when I do I love playing girly games, hahaa. My husband wanted to do this since he played this in Las Vegas and loved it, we happened to be in the area and needed to kill some time for traffic to die down, and ended up spending awhile in here, from having too much fun. I personally loved the cooking game the most, it was a 10/10 I was laughing and enjoying every second of it, it had us laughing from how awful we were but were so determined. We played the less intense zombie shooting game and then a pirate shooting game, I am a huge baby so I settled to play these, even though I still was screaming at a few times while playing, haha. I couldn't even imagine the more intense games! Definitely if you're a gamer and love action, a must do. It's pretty challenging and eventful, I could see this being a good spot to take a date or group of friends! The staff was amazing and also the manager that was working

Amazing team building fun at Player One VR world. We had an immersive zombie apocalypse experience. I was impressed with the graphics and the gameplay (Elevators, Swampy Sewage, Helicopter, and Zombies). The folks at Player One took good care of us and ensured we had a great time.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday in November as a surprise and sure enough... he was blown away! He loved every experience about it. Our host "Bijon" was incredibly awesome and gave us the best customer satisfaction ! We decided to do the 30 minute Space Marine. As soon as Bijon placed the VR Set on my head... I was now a Space Marine !! I totally lost track of real reality and was sooo much into this Virtual Reality. My favorite part of the reality was the FINAL BOSS ! he was awesome !!!!!!!! I will definitely be coming back here to accomplish more of the Virtual Reality Games here! I am truly a satisfied customer and as well as my Birthday Boyfriend. We still reminisce of this unforgettable experience till this day. Thank you for sending pictures ! Definitely a bonus !!! WE LOVE YOU PLAYER ONE VR WORLD !!! - DIANA & EDWIN Roulette-XO- & ANIMAL

I came back here with my daughter and her friends to celebrate her 12th birthday party and the kids had a blast! The cooking game was a BIG hit and the girls loved the laser tag. We had 9 girls and they all raved about how much fun they all had! We had Joe's pizza delivered which was very easy and yummy! This was by far one of the best parties my daughter had! The best part.... I didn't even have to do a goodie bags for the kids because the party package came with very nice bags!! I highly highly recommend this place!

Something's Out There is definitely a scary room with jump scares and tense situations (no live actors though, thank goodness), and it was so much fun. There was a situation where a major thing was missed due to misdirected sound and faint lighting, but the GM pointed out that we had missed something. It was set in like, a hillbilly bayou. The Garretts room is also really cool as it's a very retro house, pristine since the family disappeared in the 1980s. Want to come back and do the third room, a western, even though it might be a tad easy, just to do the experience since the other two rooms were so fun. I don't remember any size restrictions for the Garretts, but there is a thing in Something's Out There, where you have to crowd into a small room. We had four adults in our group, and over 5 might be pushing it.

The room itself was amazing and had a lot of potential, but the overall experience was…read moredisappointing. We came in as walk ins and were told we had to book online because there was no card reader available, which was confusing since that wasn't the case the last time we came. Even after booking online, the staff member helping us didn't really assist or guide us through the process. Once we got into the room, it wasn't started right away, and some of the props didn't work during the game. Overall, the room was really cool, but the customer service and setup made the experience feel unorganized and frustrating.

I would totally give this place more stars if I could! Whether you are new to escape rooms or you…read morehave done more than your fingers can count, you NEED to check out this particular location!! Even though 'Maze Rooms' has several locations, they have different owners so you won't get the same vibe from all of them. This particular one along with West LA/Santa Monica Blvd location have the same owners. I called on a weekend and Curtis happened to answer the phone. He was so patient with my questions and you can tell he loves escape rooms and wants to create the best experience for everyone. He designs these rooms and really adds a lot of detail that you don't see with some other companies. After picking his brain, we ended up choosing "They're Coming" and it is the most difficult room at this location. Don't let that scare you, you can ask for clues and really tailor it to your own level so that it's fun for everyone. We've done just over 50 escape rooms so we try to ask for as few clues as possible. So let's talk about the experience. We showed up and we were greeted by Brooke who was our game master. She was awesome! She made sure to answer our questions before we got started and didn't rush us at all. She definitely set the stage for a great time and even told us about the leaderboards they have posted. We didn't make the top list but we'll be back! Once we got into the room it was instantly engaging. We did hit a tough spot and had to ask for a couple clues and also realized that we didn't plug something in all the way so that ate up some time but we still made it out with time left. One of the things I liked about this room was that it was more of a story line, not just a theme. You're literally moving along the story as you go as opposed to just hearing a story before you go in a room that basically tells you what the goal is and the whole room just fits a theme like pirates or zombies or western. For some of you this may not make sense but trust me, not all escapes rooms are created equal. The puzzles were very creative and they all made sense. This room flowed really well, much better than I thought it would. There wasn't one puzzle that I didn't like and there was a lot of attention to detail. It wasn't a really dark room and there wasn't anything crazy scary but some kids may not like some of the props or a couple interactions. Just keep in mind it is a zombie apocalypse story. They have other options if you think this might not fit what you're looking for. So once we got done, Olivia also helped us out and she had the same positive vibe as Brooke. Overall, this is one of the best escape rooms I've been to. A few bonuses - If you missed it, there is currently (6/27/25) a Yelp promo code. They already have great prices compared to some others. Your room is private so you don't have to share with strangers. Parking was not difficult and we went on a Saturday evening. You can tip using Venmo or Cash App, I believe, so you don't need cash. It's easy to book online. What more do you need?! Go book a room! I copied the basic info from their site to make it easier for anyone who is considering this room. The plot: "The undead have risen in the heart of Los Angeles, where your group decided to do a simple, fun escape room. But now, the government has quarantined your entire surroundings so leaving is no longer an option. Your only chance is to find shelter, barricade yourselves in and get help before "THEY" get you.

Full day parking was only 8.00. There were two groups from our party. We were here to celebrate someone's birthday. One group did the Murder in London room while the other group did the Demented Doctor. You start off with scanning with the QR code to sign a waiver. From there, the explanation of what to expect and instructions. Once that was finished, we were escorted to the room which was through a hallway. There were a couple room all near each other. We did the Murder in a London room which takes you back to 1889 where a murderer is on the loose in the dark alleyway of Victorian London. Started off with the alley and then the pub. Clues are scattered throughout the pub as well as hidden all through the alleyway. Just keep an eye out as things are hidden all over the place. Or course you have to work together to figure out the clues to continues on to the next room. It was quite interesting but the fact that the timer is also in the room makes it more difficult as that's what is running through your head. We need to survive this room. You have the pub, there was phone booth, secret rooms that you need to continue through. Finish one task to continue to the next. The excitement of getting the clue for the next level was amazing. Depending on what room, the difficulty level varies. You can ask for clues which is a major plus. We actually finished the room and escape in the nick of time. Seeing the host come in with the signs to congratulate us was amazing. We did it, I escape the room. There's loads of escape room literally everywhere. I thought the excitement kind of dwindled in the room with the test tubes, and also when we had to go outside to the parking lot to the third section of the experience, which just wasn't as amazing as the beginning. Some points to improve would be a more cohesive storyline, and making a tunnel in the parking lot area so it doesn't break up the visuals.
