If you have motion sickness, you can do this! BUT YOU must know how to recalibrate your equilibrium first! Or at least know your triggers. I have motion sickness and Ican not ride 3D/4D rides without feeling queezy. I can not watch the classic Star Wars movie because it was too shaky for me. Hell, (spoilers) i didnt even know they blew up the death star because i couldnt watch the ending of the first movie! I can't do Star Tours, soaring over the world/california, spinning rides, playing first person shooter (fps) games...get the picture? I had to try this for myself to say if I truly can or can not do VR. There are "moving" elements in this VR game that can cause motion sickness. Standing still as your surroundings move is a major part of this very immersing game! You will also be going "up/down" ramps on a flat service, so that will throw off your equilibrium. Defying virtual physics is what Dennis explained. I had my ways to gain back my center and refocus as I was playing this game. If you wear glasses, please bring them, it will help! I thought I had mine, but I forgot it. The staff will help you get calibrated with the equipment and send you on your way. At one point, my vr set started to get blurry so I had a hard time seeing the enemies, but they were big enough to see when they're "five feet" in front of you, lol. It also got blurry because sweat was starting to form around my eyes. This is going to be a very lengthy review. First off, parking is a little confusing if you're not from the area. I had to circle three times to park on the same side as this venue. There is a parking structure on the opposite side of the street. All structures give you 90 minutes free without the need of validation. Then, it can go up to $25 for the maximum structure price. The venue is like the TARDIS. It's bigger on the inside, haha. The door remains locked, but they have a ring doorbell that contains a phone number to call for someone to come open the door for you. Talk about a personal greeting! When you first walk in, you have a set of stairs. They also have a handicap lift, so they are ADA compliant! Kudos! They have a row of stationery equipment that allows you to run/walk in place and turn. They also have a two-seater ride. They have 5 seatbelts that will strap you in for safety. One for each shoulder, one for your lap, and one each for your feet. They also have an overhead bar that you pull down as if youre actually on a Rollercoaster. If you ride the Rollercoaster one, you will get sick. You will experience the motion, but you won't get the effect (wind/air) of a moving vehicle. They have a wall of lights set as an aquarium as a little seated waiting area. They suggest optimum fun and experience, 6 to 8 people in your party. That is also how many guests can play in each area. They have two areas that are meant for 8 players, their pvp area and their main floor. Get this! They have an escape room, max is 6 players! I definitely want to come back and try this one! Another area is family friendly and is great for up to 6 people as well. Dennis explained to us that the reason this place has the word "World" in this establishment is because these rooms came from all over the place! I think he said the family friendly room was from china/taiwan/japan...etc.. so that's pretty cool! They have a little area where you can host a party, but it's not secluded, it's open to the public. This venue is open to the public and walk-ins are good, but you may have to wait. Dennis mentioned some guest had to wait 2-3 hours until their turn. The guest did leave a deposit to ensure their spot in line. So they suggest to book online to set up a reservation. Each gaming area is about a 30 minute session. You will sweat because you will be moving a lot. It is a workout! Only one sad note, I wish there was more air flow in the building. Because I have motion sickness, I needed fresh air to cool me down. This was a fun experience and I do intend on coming back! read more

Ok, so I'm not a huge gamer.. but when I do I love playing girly games, hahaa. My husband wanted to do this since he played this in Las Vegas and loved it, we happened to be in the area and needed to kill some time for traffic to die down, and ended up spending awhile in here, from having too much fun. I personally loved the cooking game the most, it was a 10/10 I was laughing and enjoying every second of it, it had us laughing from how awful we were but were so determined. We played the less intense zombie shooting game and then a pirate shooting game, I am a huge baby so I settled to play these, even though I still was screaming at a few times while playing, haha. I couldn't even imagine the more intense games! Definitely if you're a gamer and love action, a must do. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday in November as a surprise and sure enough... he was blown away! He loved every experience about it. Our host "Bijon" was incredibly awesome and gave us the best customer satisfaction ! We decided to do the 30 minute Space Marine. As soon as Bijon placed the VR Set on my head... Our very first VR experience was at Odyssey VR at Irvine, and it wasn't a good one. The guy basically strapped us in and let us do our own thing. The whole time the game was going, you just heard the four of us constantly saying "how do we reload??" So, of course, we died real quick. This place. OMG. Just the customer service was a complete 180. He (forgot his name) taught us everything we needed to know to play the game, so during the game we screamed a lot (at the zombies) but we knew exactly what to do the whole time. Foolishly running into each other. Also fun to learn that our group is ranked No.2 out of all groups after 4 professional military guys. Will be coming again for sure!!! Honestly, this is the best VR experience I've had thus far. My husband and I were on a date, and wanted to try something fun before eating lunch. I had booked an Outbreak session through Fever, and didn't know that we'd be in for a treat. When we arrived, we rang the doorbell and was greeted by Dennis. He was super friendly and very informative throughout this whole process. He gave us a tour of the place, and honestly the area is pretty spacious. Dennis gave us a little overview of what to expect, and showed us the little how-to video to get us started. I was scared I would get motion sickness, but honestly, the way the head piece is calibrated here, I didn't get sick at all. It was so freaking fun! It's also a nice cardio workout! You get to walk into elevators, walk up vents, and so much more. The zombies come at you fast, so it makes it exciting. You don't know what to expect. Both my husband and I ended up drenched after our session. Dennis was able to get clips of us on my phone, and it was hilarious watching us. I love that you also get a little highlight video too in your email after you're done. Super cool! After our game, we told a lot of our friends and family that they should do it too - or that we should do another future game together. Can't wait for next time! read more

We went as a group of four, myself, my 10 & 12 year old and a significant other. The outside is just a small door which is locked with a number to call but the staff saw us and let us in. This isn't uncommon for most escape room venues I have been to. But there is much larger spaces inside. We had booked Dragon Tower escape game, when we arrived the staff member let us know that for most kids the first person shooter type game was more exciting than the escape room. For many this may be true but for us we specifically went to do an escape room and had done escape rooms as a family before. So if you booked an escape room and know then don't let them talk you out of it. This is my only minor gripe as my son oof course wanted to do the first person shooter and was upset when we didn't change our minds, so I wish the staff member had spoken with me privately prior to making that announcement to the group. Once we did enter the game it was amazing. I had never done a VR experience like this and it took a little to get used to. My GF has a fear of heights and initially when the room was just a grid it made her quite nervous but once she realized she could just take off the head set if she became too afraid she was ok and never took it off again. The VR was quite impressive and it really made you think you were in the real room, even stepping over things on the ground and walking around items in the room as if they were there. I thought it was funny at the start when they warned you not to sit on chairs or tables because they are not really there but now I know why! At the end of the experience when going back into the real world you mind needs to take a moment to reach out and touch the things around you that are now real! I would 100% do this again and are planning which game to do the next time we return! read more

I took my son here for a 30 min VR session where we got to be outfitted with a headset and blaster. We were the only two there around 1pm and were helped pretty quickly. We had options to play between a zombie shooter, aliens, or far cry. We opted for the zombie experience and it was a blast!! We had so much fun we booked another 30 min session right after to try far cry experience. There was plenty of space and the VR headset buzzes and makes an alarm sound when you get near a player you're playing with or near a wall. 5/5 would recommend if you haven't tried a VR experience before. My son recently attended a friend's bday party and he came home to complain that there was a worker there who didn't let him play like the other kids got to play even though he stood in line to wait his turn. So I called to inquire about it and the person answering the phone became defensive and said he was there and nobody there was "gatekeeping" to prevent my son from playing. I told him well my son came home upset and wouldn't lie about something like that. With a rude and sarcastic tone, the worker said "yea your son wouldn't lie". My husband and I checked out this place last weekend. It just opened. As you enter it has some arcade-type stand alone VR games and a few that look like a helicopter cockpit that spin you around a bit. I didn't play those since I get vertigo easily. I played a group shooter game with machine gun and a headset. They have a really large square area for this. The graphics were very realistic. I was crouching behind a jeep, taking cover against enemy fire. Meanwhile my husband was taking pictures of me looking silly, jumping around at nothing. The staff was really nice, especially Bijan who helped me when my headset needed some adjusting with volume control and fit. When my kids were little I always took them to play laser tag. This seems like the thing the new generation of kids will want to do for their birthday parties. Or grownup kids, for that matter! There is a small parking garage next door or a big one across the street. Garages give you 90 minutes free parking. read more

We celebrated our 11-yr old's birthday party with 9 kids! They did 2 rounds of the cooking game and 1 zombie game and were shrieking in delight, terror and excitement! They also did the 360 ride and the motorcycle ride which were both super fun. Luke was our host and made the process so easy and an overall amazing experience start to finish. They gave us extra tickets for the rides and so the parents got to enjoy some rides as well. The party room was well-decorated - simple and tasteful. I took my niece, and her girlfriend to Player One VR World; it was a BLAST! We found out about Player One because of Groupon, and I could not have been happier to have found this gem. However, there was an issue with the Groupon experience I purchased. To our delight, Dennis did not hesitate to upgrade our experience to be sure we were accommodated. Speaking of Dennis, from the time I made the call to Player One, he was fantastic! Dennis provided exceptional customer service from the phone call to the end of our experience. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of our questions (we had more than a few lol). This place looks "small" on the outside, but don't be deceived. It is large inside, and there's a ton of fun to be had. Also, there's a parking lot right next door that is free for 90 minutes. We did the VR Escape Room, and had an amazing time. I had done two prior escape rooms at other places. However, neither of them were virtual reality. Adding virtual reality to an escape room experience is brilliant. Oh, and we DID escape! Yay! That was the icing on an already pretty sweet cake. We can't wait to go back to Player One for some more VR fun! read more

The 3 of us walked in on a Sunday afternoon and were able to book the Outbreak zombie experience within minutes. The staff were super helpful in explaining the game and the controls and even showed us some videos. The sounds and visuals felt realistic and it was non-stop action the entire time. We'll definitely be coming back next time we're in town! Outbreak was amazing! Not too scary but I definitely screamed a couple of times when the zombies got too close and too many. We had the huge 2000sq ft of space all to ourselves and it made it more fun and safer to run about- yes, this is the legit experience VR where you move about freely. We love escape rooms but had never done a VR escape room before. After we finished the Dragon Tower, we couldn't stop talking about it and are ready to do another adventure! The Dragon Tower was so amazing. We LOVED the activities that we had to do to escape -- so much more variety than "find a lock, find/decode the combination, repeat" that is bread and butter in regular escape rooms. The graphics look like a video game if you find screenshots online but we all felt totally immersed while playing. We were moving around & manipulating virtual objects very intuitively as if it was all real. In a real escape room, we are ready to escape/exit after 60 minutes; in a VR escape room, it felt like we were on a role-playing adventure and we all would have been happy to keep playing. PS: I get easily motion sick, on curvy roads and every ocean cruise. Not bothered by this experience at all. read more
