Had a great time here at PanIQ! Everything was super clean and I loved the ambiance of the whole place. I just wish time wasn't being counted when we had to watch long videos/listen to audios during the experience. It would be cool too if there were multiple puzzles for people to complete so everyone's occupied. Ausdon was super helpful! Definitely want to come back and do the other rooms. Honestly, the rooms don't have much that feels intuitive. The puzzles don't naturally lead to each other. Our group has done many escape rooms, we seek them out and are always looking for new exciting rooms. The panic room was disappointing - felt like re-hash of other puzzles in other rooms you've been in before - but yet unsatisfying in a strange way. We gave it a shot in two different rooms and both times left feeling "meh". I'd check out some of their competition if you are looking for a better time and money spent. read more

I did The Morning After with a group of 9. The website says it can be for a group of up to 10 people. I didn't think there was enough for that many people to do. The puzzles were challenging which was great, but they kind of had to happen in sequence. So you could really only do 1 or 2 puzzles at a time in a pretty small space. There weren't a bunch of smaller puzzles or locks or anything like that to keep everyone occupied. It would probably be really fun for up to 6 people max. The space is fun, and the service was decent. There is a bar/lounge area with arcade games. The bathroom was clean. The cost was about $45 per person. We escaped in 37 minutes with the help of a few hints, but didn't make the leaderboard. I think it's pretty pricey for what this room experience was. It looks like some of the other ones come highly recommended, but this is my honest experience with this particular room. read more

First time doing an escape room! I went with my co workers for our holiday get together. It was a group of ten which is the max capacity for the room. We went on a Monday night. The staff were acoomadting. They sell alcohol as well as other beverages for purchase in the lobby/check in area. The place was clean and spacious. Once our whole group arrived the staff escorted us to the game room and explained rules quickly and efficiently. We completed the game with seconds on the clock. It was so much fun. read more

PanIQ is on to something with their offerings of escape rooms with arcades and a karaoke lounge, shooting range, and an in house bar. I see the potential of this location being a one-stop shop for fun and making its mark in the West Hollywood area. My group made a reservation to do two of their unique rooms: Rogue 51 and Superhero Origins. The puzzles themselves were genuinely enjoyable and I was pleasantly surprised that a location could offer high quality escape rooms with all of the other activities they have going on! Some of the buttons were already showing wear and tear but I think this part is inevitable with the number of people going through these experiences. As for customer service, we were treated with the utmost attention and kindness. Sky made our drinks. Kevin, Jack, Henry, and Harry took us to our rooms. Special shout out to Kevin for being our game master and explaining all the puzzles afterwards! This is a great Friday night activity if you are looking for something different to do with your group. Stopped by this location because we heard they gave a pretty cool experience. We booked a medium level escape room at 11am which was the best thing because no crowds and plenty of parking. The staff/bartender was super friendly, helpful and welcoming. I was surprised to find out they don't sell alcohol at this location, but the butterbeer mocktails we ordered were delicious! Our escape room experience was top tier, we had a lot of hints, which we didn't need but nice to know we had them, the puzzles were fun and not too easy (which we liked) and they snapped our photo afterwards! We did the Wizard Trials escape room as a group of two and everything was great! Ausdon was our game host & gave us a rundown of the rules & backstory of the room, and was super in character for it. Our game master, Henry, was really nice and I liked how he gave us hints in character of the rooms sometimes instead of straight up telling us what to do. He was super attentive and helped us when we were really suck without us having to ask. The room itself was super fun! I liked how it consisted of multiple rooms, and without spoilers, it was super cool to solve for all the ways to get to rooms. The puzzles weren't too hard, but not too easy either--they require you to be attentive to details and your surroundings, but not extremely hidden. Everything was super interactive, with a lot of sound queues, and a lot of things to play around with until you solve the puzzle. Overall, it was really enjoyable, and we solved it with 8 minutes to spare (after using ~5 hints). They also offer other activities as I've heard, and there's a bar with drinks in the front and arcade machines as well. Parking was bad as it was metered street parking, but if you park about 5min away in an apartment street, it's free and safer! read more

We escaped Wizard Trials with 17:25 left! Staff is incredibly nice! Shoutouts: Ozden was an energetic game master and Joey was a nice game host! Doc was very efficient at the bar. There were some parts that just needed you to physically play with objects to figure out how to trigger an event. I'm not the biggest fan of those moments. Production value was so good! It was not super difficult out of the rooms at this location that I've done (Super Hero Quest, Casino Heist). We escaped Casino Heist with 15:25 left! Staff is incredibly nice! Shoutouts: Doc was a great host very efficient at the bar and Jeff was a great game host. There were some parts that just needed you to physically play with objects to figure out how to trigger an event. I'm not the biggest fan of those moments. There should be instructions on how to interact with certain objects, which I suggested to Doc. Like having stickers on an object we have to open (please shout out @BryantCabrera if you do this)! Production value was so good! It was probably the most difficult escape room out of the rooms at this location that I've done (Super Hero Quest, Wizard Trials). read more

I absolutely love escape rooms and have done so many. This location is definitely the coolest one that I have been to. There is a drink station in the center and their drinks are perfection. Everybody that works here is amazing. Ben was our host and his personality is just incredible. We were so lucky to have him to talk to as his energy is so fun and he has also played 600+ escape rooms. Sky made all of our drinks (we had 3 because they are just that good) and she has such a kind heart. She was also very fun to chat with And so sweet. Graham ran our games and we didn't get to talk to him as much, but when we got the chance, he was very nice! Something that really stands out at PanIQ in WeHo is their lounge. There's a bunch of arcade games that you can play before and after your adventure! I highly recommend buying some drinks at the bar, play the games, and enjoy each others company here. Super cool room and super interactive! We did the insane asylum. Lots of parts where we had trouble so it was definitely challenging but the clues are endless, so we were able to succeed without reaching maximum attempts for the leaderboard. The place itself is super cool other than the bar not serving alcohol and the parking being he worst in the city. Other than that, definitely recommend. read more

Really fun experience. Just challenging enough to be fun but not so hard we couldn't make it out. We got 2-3 clues and escaped the "Insane Asylum" rooms with 31 seconds left. The staff were super helpful and had a good sense of humor. We got our tickets on Groupon but they only have two of the many rooms available from there so we will probably go back at full price another time and try other rooms. I did the insane asylum with my family and we loved it! The staff are so friendly and upbeat, the arcade games are sooo cool, and the overall decor is so modern and artistic. I like how good the theming is and how many different types of puzzles and problems there are to figure out. Literally no stone is left unturned! My new favorite escape/game room in Los Angeles! A 10/10! We tried the laser shooting game, quiz room, one escape room, and the karaoke room... ALL WERE SO MUCH FUN! The karaoke room had ample space and a wide selection of updated songs! Sky made us the most delicious drinks at the bar. (We tried several). My favorite was the vanilla soda! This location is one of the more ambitious builds that I've ever seen out of an escape room. The entrance is hollywood-esque and I felt like they rolled the red carpet for me when I walked in. They offer karaoke, a shooting gallery, escape rooms, a bar, lounge area, pinball and even trivia. Our game guide Joshua was very friendly and made us feel at home, and was more than willing to spend time with us to answer questions during our debrief. Would give this place a 6 out of 10 if it was on a 10-point scale but since it's not then 2 it is for the following: Pros: -The location is near many other attractions in LA -Customer service was okay -Place was clean and looked nicely decorated Cons: -No parking space. Street parking only. -Pricey for the room quality -They use the same escape room (casino heist) for another escape experience (The morning after) -The escape room we did (casino heist) was very underwhelming. I have done several escape rooms (probably over 30 by now) and this was wasn't very fun :/ -You have to either share a room with strangers or pay extra for your private room. Most escape rooms don't do that anymore. -the drinks they serve are mock tails as they don't have their liquor license yet -The arcade games they have are about 5 and they each cost money to play (most being $5 for a game) Overall would not recommend this escape room experience and it's definitely overhyped. read more

We got to play some video games while we waited and there's a cool bar with fun drinks and a comfy lounge area to chill out while you wait. Amourissa was our game master for both of the rooms we did and she was amazing! I personally like to really try before asking for a hint and I totally didn't feel like I was fed the answers or anything which I loved. I felt guided through rather than pushed. Best Escape Room in LA! My friends and I are Escape Room fanatics and knew we had to try this location once it opened. It is honestly one of the most beautiful Escape Rooms I've ever been to. The rooms have a perfect balance of puzzles, locks and technology with immerisive theming. We also got to spend some time in the arcade, shooting range, and karaoke room. The arcade & bar area is stunning and the fact that they serve so many creative non-alcoholic drinks was a dream for me considering I do not drink. The karaoke room was also a pleasant surprise, very spacious and fun with its own outdoor balcony. Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back very soon.
