Wow, had a sunrise beach ride scheduled for over a month and because it was so far away we chose to get a hotel the night before our morning ride. We just got settled into our hotel and they called and canceled on us. Totally unprofessional and gave us some lame excuses that it was to dark to get their horses ready for our morning ride. Plenty of other stables to choose from, so don't run the risk. Look at what our sunrise would have been (see attached photo). Side note loved the Port Inn Cottages in Port Saint Joe and all the wonderful restaurants to choose from. Joe Mama (Pizza) was awesome. read more

We stayed on the Cape over Thanksgiving and I wanted to make sure we had a chance to do some riding on the beach since that's such a rare opportunity. I was glad we chose Two-bit! The morning of our planned ride, a front of nasty weather was moving in, so I was worried we wouldn't be able to get the ride in, and the schedule would be full. Well, no need to worry, because she rescheduled with us for later that same day - at a time when they normally don't ride. We ended up with a beautiful mid-afternoon ride on some docile, but fun horses. The horses are very mild-mannered and responsive, which is especially important with those who are inexperienced riders. Because they were so well-trained that it was easy to enjoy the scenery and experience. That's what you're paying for, and although there are a few riding companies on the Cape, I'm glad we chose Two-bit. The experience from booking to paying, etc. was sooo easy. They've done a really good job with the online experience, which is something you don't normally consider with a riding outfit, but the little things add up to a wonderful overall experience! Anytime you're planning an outdoor event like this, especially with animals, both parties have to flexible, and in this case it worked out perfectly for everyone. Highly recommended! We have used this company twice now . Once in 2015 and just last week in November 2021. They are OUTSTANDING! We have had our 5 children ages 9-22 ride. Each time, Cheryl, has made this a great experience! She is concerned with safety. She matches up each rider to the best horse. She goes over all important information thoroughly before the ride begins. She cares so much and takes excellent care of her horses. I would not use any other company. We have had a sunrise ride booked for 2 months now for anniversary and birthday presents for our party of 4. We all took two days off work so we could spend the night and be there at 6 a.m for the ride. Got to port st. Joe today and checked into our $300 hotel and received a text that they cancelled our ride!! We called and their reason was that the horses can't ride in the dark?! Why have an option for sunset rides if the horses can't do it?? You had 2 months to call and let us know they couldn't, and they waited till 12 hours before. Had a great time horseback riding. It was threatening rain but we managed to get the whole ride in and take some great pictures. The horses are very sweet and well trained, no experience necessary. Great experience riding on the beach, you get to see people walking by as well. If someone can't ride they can walk alongside the group as well. Very reasonable price as well! My daughter and I did the sunrise horseback ride on August 21, 2019. Cheryl and the horses did a fabulous job for the ride. We really enjoyed that. However, we paid extra for the photo services. We were told the photographer's camera was broken and would receive a refund for that payment. It is now October and we have not received the refund for that service. read more

I reserved an afternoon ride with Two-bit stable on July 6th. Everything went well and the ride was amazing, no complaints here. The two women working with the horses were kind and helpful. They took our photos throughout and we were anxious and very excited to view them. We were told that these would be ready within two weeks time, so we waited patiently. It is now August 3rd, and after many phone calls and being given the run-around numerous times we have finally received our pictures. The people handling the issue were polite, but it saddens me to say that the pictures were awful and COMPLETELY UNEDITED. We paid money for this service, my husband is in the military so we were told that we would get the military upgrade on the photo editing which sounded excellent, but I repeat: what we received was not the promised package, and the pictures are blurry. I got way better pictures of that day with my iPhone. Again, the people are nice but the photo packages are not. read more

Great place! The horses are well taken care of and really calm. The owners of the place gives you instructions. The beach is beautiful but is pretty windy the day we went. Beware that they said they are on the Eastern time zone but my phone didn't change time when it got there so it could get a bit confusing. read more
