The weather was perfect and the horses were great. I rode Jimbo and my son rode Elvis. Elvis was perfect for beginner riders. Very gentle and easy going. Jimbo was cute and had a touch of a teen ager attitude which was fine with me. The two hour ride through the local forest and wetlands protected Forrest. My daughter and I ride, train, and board our horse at Misty Meadows. All horse's are handled gently every day. All are turned out to paddocks carefully grouped or private. All are brought in and have large comfortable box stalls. The barn design is airy and open. The stalls are well maintained. Perennial Peanut is the only hay the horses eat. They are fed twice daily( grain of owners choice). The feeding practices ensure good digestion and no anxiety. Our horse is the happiest he has ever been and really performs!
