Two Blokes Brewing has a variety of events every month. For date night, we signed up for sushi making. Two Blokes brought in GringoNinja (Myrtle Beach) to host the class. Didn't know what to expect considering you're making sushi at a brewery.... They did an amazing job! The event was well organized, informative, and quite delicious! I left feeling like a true sushi rolling chef successfully rolling 6 Uramaki and Maki sushi. We stopped in for a flight while visiting Isle of Palms. The brewery is very large and they had a pizza oven outside which smelled delicious but we already ad dinner plans so we didn't eat there. The flights come in 4 tasters which was perfect. They have a variety of beer options. I like light beers and a few of our crew lean more toward IPAs. read more

Stopped by Two Blokes and just grabbed a beer here. They don't serve food, but I believe they have food trucks scheduled some nights. They do have small snacks like chips available for purchase. The bartender was very nice, and it was a huge plus that I was able to bring Luna inside since they don't serve food -- especially appreciated on a hot day. There's outdoor seating available as well. The benches inside weren't the most comfortable, but we specifically chose that area because we needed access to an outlet. read more

This place has great vibes! Two Blokes may be nestled away in mount pleasant, but you need to visit. With tons of different beer options there is something to please everyone, and they sometimes have food trucks that set up outside too! This brewery puts on a ton of events which was actually the reason for my visit. They do comedy nights, which may sound lame, but they're actually so fun because of the small crowd. read more

We had the best time at this little, out-of-the-way brewery. The beer is fantastic. I absolutely loved the IPAs. Their beer names are clever and their label art is so freakin' rad. Time for dinner and since Two Blokes did not have a food truck on tonight's schedule, I stopped at Harris Teeter's salad bar and brought a "salad." Friendly welcome and I found a bench against the wall with a power outlet. Two beers, my salad and a bunch of wifi were my entertainment this evening. It's a comfortable space, the beers were good. I had the Umlaut Kolsch with dinner and tried the First Blood Hefeweizen that was too much orange for my taste so I went back to the Umlaut. It's in an industrial plaza and because they don't serve food, they're usually tolerant of dogs. There are also some picnic tables outside. Really nice little place and the beer was excellent. And my wife as always gets herself a Seltzer and she really loved it. We were there on vacation. We always try to stop at the local breweries and this place did not disappoint. It's hard to always say what beer is better what beer is best, so forth and so on. They've got lots of events going on throughout the week and my families favorite event is their competitive puzzle night. It's a great way to come, spend an evening and try to win some free beer (but you'd better not get too excited if we are there because we are undefeated and hold the record for fastest time). They've got a rotating list of food trucks that show up and have great food most nights. The beer itself is pretty decent and constantly changing. My favorite has been their Blood Orange Hefeweizen. A friend was looking at apartments in this area, so we ventured to Two Blokes for a few beers. It's conveniently located near I-526, so even if you don't live in Mt. Pleasant, it's not a bad drive from other areas. Be careful not to miss the left turn coming from the interstate- it's easy to miss in the dark. I tried the Tart Vader, Two Blokes' signature sour. The beer-tender recommended adding a shot of syrup (they offer several flavors), and I did. I enjoyed my beer, as sours are my favorite. I also tried a small pour of the SourDo-Se, which is a German sour packed with crushed pretzels. As expected, it tasted just like a pretzel- a sweet and salty flavor. Two Blokes has a diverse tap list, and my drinking partner got hoppier, darker beers and enjoyed those. They offer a few snacks, but no in-house food. A seafood truck was parked outside, but we stuck with liquid calories. Several patrons had dogs inside the brewery, so if you have allergies or aren't a dog person, be aware of this before you go. I'm not sure if there's an outdoor area or the dogs were inside because it was a chilly night. Most local breweries are dog-friendly, but I'm not used to seeing dogs indoors. Multiple breweries are nearby if you want to check out several, but we stuck with Two Blokes. It's a solid choice and I would return. read more

If you're in the Mount Pleasant area, put this hidden gem towards the top of your list! This is a cozy little nook that has great beer, service, and atmosphere. They definitely have their main brews, but every time we come they have something new to keep it fresh. Their beer has great quality and flavor. The service is top notch and they make a point to describe the flavors of the beers to help you pick ones you like, and they're so personable. They don't have a kitchen, but they have a good selection of munchies and the often have (amazing) food trucks, or just bring your own food! There's something for everyone here including TV's, an outside patio, and a little play area for little ones- and they're dog friendly. read more

Two Blokes Brewing is an independent brewery, locally owned which is located in Longpoint just beyond the 526 Interstate Intersection on the second right. Plenty of parking available beside this brewery along with a good truck. I don't know if the food truck is resident or if it changes up but a great addition considering the brewery doesn't provide any good in the establishment. Customers can go to the Food Truck and bring it into Two Blokes Brewing, making sure to clean up after yourself as there is no table service here. It's a cute pub, airy and open, with plenty of seating and a nice camaraderie atmosphere. We came for Team Trivia. It was a great night and a packed house. I'm not a beer drinker so cannot attest to their brews but it seems like they have a huge selection for people to choose from. read more

Strangley located in a sort of strip mall/office warehouse area. Really weird location, but don't let that drive you away. Lots of parking, L shaped bar with plenty of seating, soft playing music, and snacks like pretzels, jerky, sodas, and chips for purchase. They are very kid friendly here, so you might see some toddlers and babies and all that. Just be aware. Growler fills are about 20 bucks and crowlers check in at 13. Their merch is super cool and reasonably priced for a microbrewery in the Chucktown vicinity. My favorite beers were the Wicked Throat Chahmah NE IPA at 7.2% ABV and the Fog and Mist NE IPA at 7%. Both priced at $7.25 per. Not a super cheap place to drink homemade beers, but they do taste good to me. They have 2 dart boards, 1 large tv, a comfy leather couch and leather chair as well for your loungin' necessities. Good spot. Go check it out and swill a couple, two, tree. read more

A second stop on a self-made brewery tour our first night in Charleston! So far, they spaces seem so tiny! But I'm so delighted with the insurgance of breweries in the area. When I last visited 8 years ago, there were none! I liked the artwork, especially the Tart Vader, which is the sour selection for me. The kids were milling and screaming and since there was no real outdoor seating area, the floor space was fairly cramped. We snagged 2 bar stools luckily and I finally had something substantial to eat via a tent with (high schoolers) making tacos. So, we settled in to have a pint, but then on the way again for stop #4, the last one for the evening. read more

What a fun place! I went here a few weeks ago with my partner and two friends, and we had such a great time hanging outside at the picnic tables and tasting all the beers by ordering flights. My bf is preparing for a beer certification in which he has to identify different beers based on taste, smell, color, etc. This place was perfect to test his expertise as there were so many styles of beer to choose from. Staff was great, indoors had a cool vibe, and pandemic precautions were great. I highly recommend this place. I love this brewery. When you walk in its small and cozy. They have a few picnic benches to your left, followed by taller tables. The bar is on your right and there is a section of toys by the window for kids to play, which makes it awesome! Keep the kids busy while drinking some brews. Saturday night...good beer and good music. Live music filled the air and the beer was flowing nicely. The staff is friendly and so are all the locals that frequent Two Blokes. They have any style you would want. I tried their NE IPA and their West Coast IPA. Both were excellent and lived up to their namesakes. We had a very nice time at Two Blokes last night. We brought five beach chars and parked ourselves halfway between the live guitar musics, the taps in the bar area, and the Immortal Lobster truck. Amazing beers (I love IPAs and they had several Hoppy Beers-My fav was the Old New England IPA with a close second the Left Coast IPA). Couldn't decide between the Maine or Spicy Lobster roll... the Spicy was amazing with an abundance of succulent lobster chunks. They have a rewards program. Buy five and get one free. I really wanted a second... it was so good. We were there about two hours with a bunch more friends we invited. Only one short break the whole time and the music was just perfect. What a great concept to bring the food truck, live music and the brewery together for an event. Follow Two Blokes on FB and stay tuned. We'll be going back for sure. read more

I was familiar with Two Blokes early on and anticipated their opening for a while. Then they opened, life got in the way, and it took me way to long to step foot inside the actual brewery. I legit had a reminder set on my to do list to go check it out sometime. Finally I decided earlier that day I'd head over. Nobody wants to drink alone, so my brother met me there after work. I saw the raw space before they started bringing in equipment early on. I have to say that they did a phenomenal job putting this place together. Don't get me wrong, I can definitely get down with the likes of a rustic spot like Holy City or Tradesman, but everything in here is squeaky clean and new... like a Westbrook or Cooper River. It's set up like a hallway style, but don't think that this place is small... I just mean it's more long than wide. You walk into a seating area where you can hang out with friends or even bring the kidos to their kid friendly zone. All the barrels and tanks are in the far back and you can get a little tour if you ask nicely. In the middle is a big bar top where you can saddle up for samples of full pints. I started with a flight of IPA's going light to dark which just about covered that style. Afterwards, I started picking off everything else until I'd tried everything on the menu... even one's I wasn't too interested in. Out of everything I tried, there was only one I'd likely pass by and it was a smokey brew which I'm not a fan of. Everything else was great... even the saison which I don't normally go for. Two or three I'd gladly take home more of. The great thing is that you can do that it growlers OR if you forgot your growler, like I almost always do, you can get a crowler instead! Disposable cans that probably hold half of what a growler does. Perfect for bringing craft beer to the beach, pool, or just back to the house. read more

Small, cozy and rustic brewery. But aren't most Charleston brewery's like that? This brewery usually has special events or food trucks that they have brews paired which is pretty cool. I would give this brewery a 5 star, but they ran out of a few brews I wanted to try and didn't have any porters or ales on tap at the time of my visit. Mostly stouts and IPAs available. While my bartender was knowledge he did set me up with a few good brews that I did enjoy. The place seemed rather busy, and had a decent crowd in attendance. I almost wonder if they would benefit from being open later, like till 11 or midnight instead of 10. But other than that, I would deff come back again. read more

Mt Pleasant has a budding brewery business. Awwsome. When i go to an area one of the things i look for is breweries. 2 Blokes was near the hotel, had a nice rating and the menu looked drinkable. The brewery is in a clean industrial area, very accessible, with plenty of parking. When we pulled up after a loooong drive a BBQ guy was setting up and groups were seated out front. Theres seating outside, impromptu perhaps. We went in and found the place appealing, fekt good. The covid hooey was in place and everyone adhered. The menu was read, beers ordered, and enjoyed. They have a nice array from IPAs to stouts, youll find something. Stop in, buy a tee shirt. read more

We really enjoyed our last stop-in at Two Blokes, so figured it was about time to write a review. This is July 2020, during the COVID19. They took all precautions with the virus; staffed was masked up and we were required to be masked up as well, unless seated with a beverage or food in front of us. It's an enjoyable, friendly, comfortable place with a staff to match. There are a number of tables that seat 8, and folks were welcoming at them, making them community type tables. I had the Split Milk-milk stout and a Creamy McBoatface-dry hopped cream ale (yes mainly because of the name). Both were excellent, as expected, and I would have enjoyed a few more, but was being responsible and enjoyed the 2 slowly. They also had a food truck out side that was busy but able to keep up with the crowd. Can't remember the name, or that would be another review, but they had a lot of options, and we opted for s couple of gyros. The had live music cranking up as we were getting ready to leave. The place feels more like a pub than a brewery. Every brewery needs their niche, right? For example, it's great to visit on a tour (since there are 2 other breweries within 1 mile -- Ghost Monkey and Westbrook). Ghost Monkey is an industrial warehouse feel and Westbrook as polished inside and out. Figuratively (and literally) is Two Blokes is in the middle. Food trucks are often parked outside, but you can bring your food inside--of course. They have 32oz To-Go Cans that they can fill for you. Really wish more places did this since I never remember my growler. The beer is a wide variety--which is good for groups of varying tastes. My only critique is that they play it safe with the many beers. That being said, I did recently go there and found their Dark Day Afternoon (Solar eclipse special) and Log Tosser really bold and great. Sidenote: The place is kid and dog friendly. And one more thing, Be sure to check out the artwork in the restrooms. read more

Great place to enjoy a wide variety of beer. Pilsners to Sours and everything in-between. If you don't know what you want, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They often have food trucks. Just did Immortal Lobster there and went well with "the Watcher in the Water". AC works great, and they are dog friendly. read more
