An oasis in the desert! The property is large, beautifully landscaped! There are community pools to the left of the check-in area and reservation pools to the right. On the left are day beds which is a welcome (in addition to hammocks in the palm area). There is a restaurant on site and I was super appreciative that there are vegetarian options. A tennis court, yoga dome, twine area, and small glass house. I've stayed in the Desert and Grove rooms. I relaxed in the pools prior to check-in as the email stated a pre-welcome. Ultra contemporary, spacious bathrooms and even larger bedroom. The toiletries are divine. The only negative was the one cockroach on both my stays. The place is nice but not well run in many regards. The engineers and massage therapists were great but when it came to the restaurant and the front desk staff there were at most two helpful people whereas the rest were very unwelcoming. Between forgotten food orders, being misleading on products, issuing faulty key cards, improper communication with their custodial staff, and overall rudeness on many occasions, our couples getaway was frequently disrupted undoing the very purpose of our 4-day stay. When we 1st checked to the room, we walked in the door and there was a big pile of pistachio shells someone had clearly left in plain sight. So as my girlfriend walked in the door she looked over and immediately said, "gross." Not the reaction I was looking for on a spa getaway. I politely told the staff and again at the front desk two more times. My girlfriend also asked to have the room cleaned. No on came - no towels - no turn down service. Nothing. On checkout the front desk apologized and gave me a complimentary bottle of juice. I guess that makes up for the couple thousand dollars I spent to stay in a dirty room. read more

Like others, I am extremely surprised to read about negative experiences as Two Bunch Palms. My solo stay in March for my birthday was absolutely exceptional in every way. From the grounds, to the amenities, the mineral pools, yoga and spa treatments - I enjoyed all of it! The serenity here is unmatched. My room was a bit small, but clean and frequently refreshed. My synopsis: I went back and forth on whether or not i loved it, but ultimately I would go back. Rooms: I hated the rooms. They were dark, grey concrete and it felt cold and dimly lit. They also didn't feel clean. The showers had rust in the window sill, and you could see caulking. I immediately instacarted slippers and shower shoes from Walmart, that's how uncomfortable I felt in the room and shower. When we got to our room I was realllllly skeptical that this was going to be a good experience because the room made such a bad first impression on me. We stayed in the "springs" portion of the hotel. Very conveniently located to the restaurant, spa, and pool, but I swear the building is made out of old cinder block felt like concrete bunkers. Idk if newer rooms have this vibe. Our room was never serviced. As one other person pointed out, this is crazy for the price point. Service: The service was mostly good but could be improved. Front desk was like kind of bad attitude vibes, 20% of the interactions. I don't think anyone would walk away thinking this is the best service they've ever had, but it was decent and there were a couple of people who stood out. I was only offered Pool service on our last day, and it was a day that the resort was slow. Otherwise no one ever tried to come take an order from me by the tubs. I wish there had been more poolside service. Sometimes plates or bottles of alcohol sat for a while by the pool after being abandoned, before being cleaned up. Food: The food was good and healthy. Nice clean options, which felt great. So happy they have decent complimentary coffee. Drank a ton of matcha lattes. Cocktails were good, speciality drinks were good. Only one restaurant but enough menu options to keep you occupied and satisfied. I felt like some of the flavor combos were odd and I hated the veggie bowl ( a bit out of season for May), but that was my only complain. Everything else was good. Spa: I had a deep tissue massage that I felt was just over priced for the quality but, it's a resort ‍. I had a body scrub that I thought was phenom and left my skin so soft. Overall spa facilities are cute and conveniently located. An important thing, the person I traveled with had experienced sexual trauma in her life. She was u comfortable to get a massage but felt comfortable with a couples, so we called ahead of time to arrange a couples massage so that we were in the room together. When massage time came, the MTs had no idea we were supposed to do a couples and said they couldn't because hot stone had to be in a certain room. The resort not carrying out the request for couples massage as they said they would made put this person in a situation she was not comfortable with. Vibe: The most casual resort I've ever been to. People went everywhere, including dinner, with their robes on. There was no pressure to "dress" or have a resort fashion contest or put on make up. At first I was like why are these people wearing robes in a restaurant, but then I actually ended up loving the relaxed vibe because there was literally no pressure to look any kind of way. Added to the relaxation factor. Also loved the palms and plants everywhere, it made everything feel natural and made you feel connected to the desert / nature in a grounding way. This is 100% part of the appeal and why I'll return. Overall resort: I am obsessed with the grounds. They are beautiful and well maintained. So many interesting plants and flowers to walk around in. Loved all of the textures and finishes chosen for this place, except of course in my room . We spent the vast majority of our time outside and loved it. Something was always lacking. For example, one morning the espresso machine was broken, so no lattes or blended drinks. The next morning the computer was down so no orders in the Twine restaurant (where you go to grab coffee and takeaway breakfast). One morning there were no bagels If you wanted to order one. Just small inconveniences that were kind of ever present. We got dressed and ready to go to a class that we showed up for and no instructor was there. We were given no notice that it had been cancelled, when we went to the front desk, they told us. It was super lame to not get a heads up. I think it's a very casual, good resort experience that is overpriced for the service level, cleanliness, and rooms. Great place to relax, but not the bougiest or nicest feeling place I've been. Minor note, but maybe not minor , I saw a rat coming out of the trash can Area by the restaurant. That was obviously extremely off putting. I'm trying to be not so grossed out about it because everything is outside and it's in the middle of the desert, but I've never seen a rat at a hotel or resort before. read more

We came here for a birthday in August and had a fabulous time! The manager, Jose, was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and genuinely kind! He made our experience very special and we look forward to seeing him whenever we return! Definitely 5 stars for Jose! The only complaint I had was being overcharged for the nuts that were in our room (the menu said they were $14, but they put $18 on the bill). This was not the biggest deal but still was disappointing when the menu says one thing but you are charged more for no reason. The restaurant is also very overpriced so that was a lesson learned. This place has a huge chunk of my heart! The property is beautiful with so much to explore, the staff goes above and beyond (mostly) and the pools are blissful. I went during the off season and it was normal to not see people for hours! The staff was great except when we dined in at the restaurant. Every time they were attentive in the beginning but then they just abandoned us. Every. Time! It was a running joke between my girlfriend and I. So that's why I gotta take a star away. The communication through text was tricky. At times we had to ask multiple questions because nothing is labeled. Not the pools, not the reception, not even the front entrance. Which gives a nice minimal vibe but also is tricky for first timers to navigate. I love being able to take a golf cart ride everywhere. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend the vegan key lime pie and jicama tacos! We couldn't figure out how to order off the pool menu and of course there were no instructions. We loved how there was so much empty space to contemplate life and relax. Our view from the room was gorgeous, very much in the middle of the desert with natural elements having the "right of way". There'a multiple trees this property has built around. It's amazing to see! With the nature taking precedence, that means there's an abundance of wildlife and insects. Yep, wasps and cockroaches. In the daytime, wasps were the enemy. During the night time, the roaches were out. They were more of a nuisance than a vacation ruiner. If we want to spend time in nature, we gotta accept these not so glamorous parts too. The pools were amazing, we always found a beautiful place to soak. We discovered that the grotto is a vortex only after having a blissful night soak. I do agree that the pools should be cleaned at a time other than 6-8 which seems inconvenient for those wanting to get an early soak in. Speaking of pools, we did notice that there were a lot of abandoned alcohol bottles, dirty towels and plates from people that had clearly left. They were never cleaned from what we saw. And remember, it was the slooooow season. I think that's somewhere the resort can improve. I enjoyed the tarot readings and angel messages I received during this stay. Some Change but Still the Same Magic! 2024, Summer, 2 Days, Sunday and Monday. I can't believe Two Bunch has a 3-star general star rating. I guess differing opinions is what makes a market; however, I think the issue is that people don't understand what Two Bunch is. Two Bunch is not a fancy hotel with staff constantly waiting on you. It's got it's own vibe. It's quiet, it's historical, it's minimalist. You go there for the water and the quiet and for the trees. It has changed since our last visit in 2019, which like this visit was in the dead of summer, 110 degrees. They've finished the "private" reservable pools near the swimming pool. They close a couple days a week during the off-season to continue working on the improvements. They've finished the row of massage treatment rooms, about 8 in total that look like fancy modern ADUs. They've done away with the valet parking -- a definite smart move (it was completely contrary to the vibe of the place). The private pool and the hot tubs have been removed from the formerly named, Casa Blanca Suites, another great move, as having chlorine pools like this just seemed odd and not worth the maintenance. The staff was so kind and so helpful. It is shocking to me anybody had a different experience as their attitude and kindness was across-the-board. For instance, our AC was making an odd noise and it bothered my wife, so we mentioned it to a repairman to see if he could adjust. He said their AC guy was on vacation, but immediately had us moved to a new unit. Anything you want, just ask. The restaurant was particularly good this time. The Caesar is amazing. The Indian rice dish was good (kudos for including micro greens! That's going the extra nutritional mile). The acai/granola bowl was top notch. Wow. Serious fruit, kiwi, dragon, blueberries, banana, strawberries. The coffee was great. It's free from 630-1000 in the former registration office by the grotto that has been sharply converted into a little wooded cafe. They've replaced the water dispensers with those filtered water devices you've seen places. it's not as "special" as the fruited-water, but so much better than wasting all those cups. The price is not what it was back in 2010, but I don't imagine they were profitable back then, so I understand. We spent about $1,100 for 2 nights at one of the mid-level rooms. This includes two dinners (a little under $100 each all in), some snacks and breakfast for two. Our rooms came with a one-hour massage, too. Probably the biggest difference was that in all my time going to Two Bunch over the last 15 years, I've never seen so many loud people. It wasn't crowded by any means. There 8 people at the main pool and that is the most I've ever seen, but at one point there was a group of women shouting and whooping it up and a lady with a speaker playing music. My wife saw a women in the bathroom near the pool vomiting, seemingly from over-drinking, and one night there was a drunk women talking loud-mouthing at the grotto, completely ignoring the "Mediation Area: Speak Quietly" sign. I don't blame Two Bunch for this. They don't "police" and have never had to. If it was constant, I'd have reported it and they'd have taken care of it, but it wasn't. It may have just been a rare combination of a couple groups. But if you've read this far, please know Two Bunch is not for partying. Go to the Ace in Palm Springs. It's cheaper and you'll have tons of people to party with. Two Bunch is a different vibe. It's for healing waters, quiet, relaxation, appreciating nature. One last note, I see people complaining because there was a bug or a little dirt. It's a frigging nature sanctuary! The magic of Two Bunch is that it combines nature and our comfortable luxuries in one magnificent package. But you can't kill all the bugs and keep things hermetically sealed like a Four Seasons if you also want the grass, trees, shrubs, raccoons, roadrunners, rabbits, ducks, turtles, birds, etc. Peace and plants. read more

First time I visited was during Mother's Day weekend. Beautiful resort. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. I didn't book any treatments but I really enjoyed the workshops that are included with your stay. We attended some of the spiritual wellness workshops and I left feeling so good! The mineral springs and pool were very refreshing. We took a stroll around the resort and a couple nearby trails and it was relaxing. We had dinner our first night and the food was divine. The cocktails were refreshing. The following day was Mother's Day and I was disappointed to learn the restaurant was ONLY serving a Mother's Day buffet menu at $75 per person. We had intended on eating light that morning/early afternoon while lounging at the pool before heading back home. For a place like this, it seems unreasonable to not have any other options available for guests... a limited snack menu would have sufficed. Aside from this, I look forward to returning and I hope the regular menu is available on a non-holiday Sunday. read more

AWFUL - DISPUTING 4K I booked 3 nights in the Capone suite. Upon arrival, the private soaking tub was at 120 scalding my legs immediately. Heater would not work, and pressure regulator was removed from bathroom faucet and it was backed up leading to a flood. I was given a space heater as the resolution and didn't sleep at all. I was promised an entire room fix and continued mineral tub temperature fix and yet nothing was resolved. The manager finally moved me to another suite, only to knock on my door hours later to inform me he "made an oops" and put me in a suite that had people checking in the next day. His only resolution was to put me back in the room where none of the issues had been fixed. I was left to pack up and leave an entire day early and despite being told I would receive compensation I'm now being charged over 4,000 and am disputing. Stay far away! It is not worth the money and I heard first hand from employees how many rooms were being fixed with issues and it's why they were delayed in addition to guests who were in shock and had been questioning pricing as well for things not working properly. Frequent traveler to luxury resorts and this is just unacceptable. read more

First the pros: The açai bowl is great, so tasty! But only if you get it close to breakfast - get it in the afternoon and it doesn't have the same amount of fruit or toppings and it looks terrible. The pools were not as potent as other hot springs I've been too - hardly ever a "smell" (if you've been somewhere like Ojo Caliente then you know what I mean) water didn't feel any different (sometimes hot spring water feels "silky", or makes your skin tingle etc. and all of the springs were the same (they promote low sulphur, higher levels of lithium). Definitely didn't notice a difference after quick dips, but longer lengths spent in the pools (60-120+) resulted in a relaxing physical exhaustion that felt very nice. This clearly was the highlight of the trip. As for cons, here is the review I sent to the venue upon being solicited for one: Before arriving I requested the mini-bar be emptied as I was travelling with a friend who is sober. They told me it would be $30. I emailed back to inquire why that was the policy, and what happens if one of the guests is sober? I didn't receive a response. The fridge remained full on arrival. Multiple emails went unanswered in the booking stage actually, and I would have to follow up again and again. I felt this was a bad sign of what was to come. The man who checked us in was extremely rude. After checking in, I tried to call and text the front desk and didn't get a response. After about 30 minutes, I went to the desk to speak with him. Politely notified him there were some issues with the room and asked if I could get them addressed. He acted flustered from the very beginning, defensive and rude. My guest and I had arrived at the hotel around 2:30, and we weren't expecting to check in yet but I had been travelling since 6am EST to get there and was hoping to be able to walk around or use the pools as it says pools are available for use after 2pm on day of arrival. He said we were welcome to go for a walk, and didn't offer use of the pools etc. We went for a walk and didn't check in with him again until he texted us that the room was ready. He texted at 3:45pm. Later, when I went back to address the issues in the room, his first response was to BLAME letting us into the room at 3:45pm on why there were no robes in the room, why the toilet seat was falling off, why the beds were saturated with wet spray. There were other guests in the office as he chastised me and said that "this is what happens when you do people favors and let people into the rooms early." I responded "hold on, it was 15 minutes early and we never asked to be let in before 4pm. I have been up since 5am EST and don't care why it happened and no one, including myself, should be blamed, I just want the issues fixed so I can rest and get on with my vacation." And I walked out to avoid further conflict. Someone showed up to fix the toilet within 30 minutes, and took almost 45 minutes to fix it, eventually having to go get a new seat. This was a huge waste of my first night of vacation, time consuming and annoying. He constantly complained that there was barely enough light to see in the bathroom, and I agree - the lighting was one of the WORST parts of the stay. The bedroom lighting was ridiculous (room 6), and the bathroom was even worse. I was so frustrated by the time I went to bed I almost booked a new place to stay in the area and left. Other issues: You have to request. the room be serviced. At around $600 a night, this is insane. We requested twice, and twice it didn't happen and we had to call or text the desk again. It's ridiculous at that price to have to request your bed be made, request fresh towels, and request to have your garbage emptied. Some days, there was no pool service at all. The other days, it didn't start until 10am. People's garbage, dishes, and towels would remain on their long-vacant lawn chairs around the public pools for hours without being removed. The pools are closed from 6-8am? This is terrible for early risers who want to enjoy a warm morning in the water. Why not 4-6 or 5-7? Beer bottles and cans, and other garbage were strewn among the plants/trees and even just on the walkway. The lunch and dinner menu were lacking and no good restaurants close by. Charging $1 for a dribble of oat milk in your coffee is insane. Rooms did NOT reflect the online photos - pictures made them seem much nicer, more colourful, and filled with natural light. They feel like caves. Do NOT travel here with mobility issues - the beds are torture to get in and out of, at least the ones surrounded by a thick wooden ledge. The Springs rooms are so loud, right beside main road. I was told I wasn't allowed to park behind Springs rooms, and found out later that wasn't true as there is a sign PAST the Springs rooms parking lot that says "guest parking ends here". There is no closet. There are no drawers. The lunch and dinner menu is lacking, everything is overpriced. read more

My wife and I went to two bunch palms for our anniversary based on several recommendations. Sadly, the recent increase in 1-star reviews of this place is completely warranted. We stayed specifically at one of the spring king rooms because we didn't want to constantly walk to the main springs area (and it was also close to the self parking - thank goodness, I'll touch on this later). However, there were never any clean towels in the main area, so we had to resort to using the two provided towels from our room. Unfortunately, using our towels from the room was a huge mistake because their communication is a joke. I texted them several times requesting towels and they never followed through. They didn't even acknowledge my first request! They did acknowledge my second request but they never followed through, so I don't know what's worse. You can only communicate with them through text and they are not responsive at all. We had to reuse our towels for our entire stay (both for taking showers and also for the hot springs pools). Don't get me wrong, I'm all for conservation, but I do expect decent communication at a supposedly upscale (at least in terms of money) resort. Either they never restocked the towels or other guests were getting to them before we could - either way, I can only conclude there must be a national towel shortage going on. Getting to the room: the rooms are surprisingly small, but I don't mind that. What I did mind were the several dead bugs in the sheets. There was one dead mosquito and two other insects that I didn't recognize. I understand that it's the desert and the middle of nowhere, so I should expect to find bugs in the room (yes, there were more than several live insects in the room as well), but I don't expect them to be between the sheets sharing the bed with my wife and me. This makes me wonder what kind of attention to detail they lack in other areas. These insects were found immediately upon check-in at 4pm (I wanted to take a nap before dinner) so it definitely wasn't us who let them in. Also, this room does not have a TV. I didn't know that this place was meant to be a "digital detox." This isn't a knock on them - I'm just providing info so others won't be unpleasantly surprised. The self parking - I'm glad that they changed from valet to self parking since we had plans in palm springs for every meal. However, when we arrived back from dinner at 9:10pm, the entire pathway to the parking lot and to our rooms were unlit. When we got out of the car, we were using our phone flashlights and saw two security guards chilling in their golf carts. There are supposed to be non-security employees that shuttle you from the parking lot to your rooms - however, we didn't see them a single time during our stay. Therefore, you have to text the front desk if you need a ride which would be fine except for the nonexistent communication! Anyway, going back to 9:10pm in the parking lot: it's extremely dark and we noticed the pathways aren't lit at all, so we ask one of the security guards if we could get a lift. He responds with "uh... okay" lol. On our way, we notice that they start turning on the lights at 9:12pm. We know the exact time because we were thinking how odd the time was. So if you're walking to your room between sunset and 9:12pm, I hope your phone battery isn't dead because you'd be walking in complete darkness. Sunset was at 7:34 so that seems like a lot of time for people to be walking around in the dark. I think I would be more understanding of the complete lack of customer service if it was during the peak season - however the hot springs pools were empty for the most part and the yoga instructor (there were only two students at the 10am class) mentioned that this was one of the least busy times of the year. I've had more interaction with Airbnb hosts than with the two-bunch-palms employees, and I only speak with Airbnb hosts during check-in and check-out. I will say that the pools were relaxing but unfortunately, the temperature was warm and not at all hot, and I prefer hot springs with higher temperatures as with other hot springs that I've visited. I've stayed at less expensive places with world class customer service, I've stayed at more expensive places with world class customer service, but if I had a nickel for every expensive resort that I've stayed at with worse than motel 6 customer service, I'd have a nickel from two bunch palms. Stay away from this place for special occasions and treat yourself to somewhere that's actually worth it. read more

We have been here a few times prior to the pandemic, last stay was was in 2018. Things have changed since. Honestly, it's not worth the price anymore (we spent over 1k per night). There are too many people talking loudly, no staff around to control the level. The food is over priced for the quality, classes are okay, massages are a negative. Mud bath is a cool experience. Rooms are not worth the price at all; omg no room slippers provided, which is necessary because the room floor is crazy cold. Overall, Really the only great thing is the hot mineral water but, for the price I'm sure you could go to a nice spa for half the price. Oh yea, customer service is great. Two Bunch Palms is sooo heavenly! We stayed here over Valentines weekend this year and had the loveliest most relaxing time. The property is very serene and absolutely gorgeous with hot springs & private hot tubs throughout , towering palms, and olive trees galore. You really feel like you're far far away from the hustle & bustle once you enter the space. Secondly, the staff is so kind and very attentive to your needs. Its a perfect wellness retreat! The restaurant at two bunch palms was also a hit! They're focused on fresh farm to table food options and you can really taste the quality. The brunch and dinner were both great and the mountain views from inside the restaurant made for a gorgeous backdrop. For dinner, we had a cashew hummus appetizer topped with marinated tomatoes & greens which was light and delicious. My entree salmon in green tea broth was also perfectly cooked and very flavorful. However, their octopus chorizo appetizer dish takes the cake. It was so so tasty and perfectly paired with their yummy bread for dipping. We talked about it for days! Overall, it was a really lovely stay and we had a blast. I will definitely be coming back to this place very soon. read more

WELL apparently you must be an overnight guest to use the certificate? This not mentioned in any way when purchased. No one picks up a phone there so I am texting back and forth someone, no clue who. After many heated texts he or she tells me to call outside service they use for gift cards for a refund. I call and they tell me it is non refundable! It was a nice drive up to the desert. We came into the resort they were very welcoming. The resort is well protected with the security in the front. We arrived at 12 and requested an early check-in. They were able to accommodate us to 1 o'clock check-in, which is very nice, we had an amazing lunch. We ordered several dishes. One of my favorites was the green harissa Shakka. Once we checked in which was a little bit tense as they had only one receptionist and several guests coming in, we were able to book our massages for the day and we reserved the mineral water pool for an hour, which was delightful after the massage we relaxed and had an amazing dinner again the chef is really spectacular the next day we got up we had a yoga class and then we had a full wrap treatment which was amazing definitely recommended. I want to love this place. I want to return & be wowed by this place. But I just don't know if that will happen. When you arrive to the property there is a security gate which makes you believe this is going to be over the top glamorous. You drive up to valet & a guy in just normal street clothes greeted us & when we asked which direction was the spa he said " I think it's to the left" That left my hubs & I questioning did we just leave our car with an employee or a rando. We arrive at the "spa" and it is one big cluster. We were given check in forms & told you'll get a tour later. We are standing there with our day bags & in our clothes & my massage therapist comes to get me. I ask if I can be shown a locker room first to change she told me I can just change in the room. When we get to the treatment room I tell her that this was suppose to be a couples massage. So I'm left standing awkwardly in the treatment room, clutching my bag while she checks. Sure enough it was a couples massage so now we are back in the cluster of a lobby. We ask if we can now change & put our bags down. They tell us we can leave our bags behind their desk or just take them with us, we will be shown the locker later. We were shown a small changing room where we changed into robes. The treatment room which we were in could be so beautiful if it had new paint & sheets that looked crisp white. And tables & stools where you don't see the wear & tear of years of use. I should have take a picture of these, it looked like a small wild animal got ahold of the stool. My massage was lovely. My massage therapist though had the most dry hands I've ever felt. It was somewhat like an exfoliation. The property is beautiful- but the bathrooms look like something out of a home built in the 50s or 60s. And not in a classy chic Palm Springs way. And none of them had soap - I sure hope the employees have somewhere to wash with soap. This is what really got me...... they say they are eco friendly make people use reusable water bottles, but then use paper napkins, plastic cups for alcoholic beverages & plastic silverware. And these are not the compostable either. And they also serve drinks with straws. You either are eco friendly or you're not.... otherwise it's just plain confusing. I really hope they get these things figured out because like I said... I want to love this place. And this place truly could be epic! I want to walk away feeling like the expensive spa day I splurged on was worth every single penny. I have high hopes for this place but it needs a lot of help until then. read more

They do not honor their listed specials. We tried to book the February retreat: "Mini Retreat Package We're here to make self care as easy as possible. Stay 3 nights through February on our all inclusive Mini Retreat Package" ....only to be told after booking it would not be honored and was only valid for 1 3 day period in February, despite that not being on the website. We ended up cancelling the reservation. Do you really want to give a dishonest organization your money? read more

Don't walk away - RUN. I'm not even sure where to start. When I arrived and went to the various pools, I noticed that there was a thick, gray layer of slime surrounding the pool on the tiles. Maybe it was a figment of my imagination... NOPE. I ran my finger across it, and sure enough it lifted the disgusting, oily residue. All the pools were slick with grease and built up body oil, which only goes to show how little they clean the pools - the resort was not at capacity, so this had to be an accumulation of days, if not weeks. I was already feeling uneasy about my stay after noticing the pools, and my suspicions were confirmed after I found bugs in my room (even though I only had the door open to enter/exit twice). During my nighttime stroll around the property I discovered the hotel was overrun with roaches, and that's when I made the decision to flee after a mere 6 hours on the property. Getting my money back was a struggle to say the least - I was deemed hysterical (hello, Misogyny!!) for my panic attack, and they tried to fight me every step of the way. After they finally sent a refund, they sent it to the wrong card. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. read more

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was very nice! Relaxing and the private pools were a win because we can take a dip and get out and read or relax! The Rooms were very nice and well equipped and if you go out at night you'll see roadrunners and amazing little critters, We only ate twice at the restaurant and weren't really impressed, it's hotel food so you get overpriced not so good food and downtown is about 30 minutes so plan accordingly Other than that I'd come back it's very peaceful read more

I recently stayed at TBP on Oct 23 +24th in room 317 which had 2 queen beds. The price per night including tax was $445.52. This price was a special 2 night price. I was expecting a luxurious room and was so disappointed. First there was no place to put our stuff. The room had wooden vertical structures where you could hang towels or hooks for robes. I felt like I was at a Hostel. The only flat surface on this side of the room was the small fridge which was covered with food to purchase. On either side of the bed was a very low wooden surface which was very small and was an ergonomic nightmare. I ended up spilling my drink because it was so low. Most of our luggage ended up on the floor. There was no coffeemaker in the room and we were expected to walk 10 minutes to the restaurant for coffee. The blackout curtains did not cover the sliding glass door and there was 18" open on either side which let in the morning sun. There was no chair in the room. The outdoor furniture was dated but at least there was something there. Walking up to our door there was a 1" step where the tile stopped which I tripped over and luckily didn't fall. My friend has bad eyesight so I reminded her of the hazard. The bathroom has a pocket door which didn't close properly and again there was very little counter space in the bathroom. The lampshades were canvas bags which gathered dirt. The safe was in the closet but was put up very high and was difficult to open and close. We ended up dragging an outdoor chair in so we could use the safe. I have been going to TBP for over 50 years. I remember when the rooms were full of beautiful antiques. I also remember the Mid-Century Modern décor which I enjoyed. I brought my friend to experience the grotto and the wonderful waters. I would have done a day pass but $325 a person was a bit pricy. In the past I was able to get spa treatments and the grotto was included. They have redone the spa rooms and they were very nice. The area you wait to be called is outdoors, very little shade and wooden benches. They had a fire pit on and it was 90 degrees out so bottom line not very comfortable. No amenities like tea or waters. It was disappointing. For the money it wasn't worth it and I felt they were nickel and diming you for everything. If you come early they charge $100 to use the facility which is new under the new management. I would drive up from San Diego in the past around 2 and could use the grotto until my room was ready. I'm afraid this will be my last time at TBP. read more

It's sad reading all of the bad reviews. I used to enjoy going to Two Bunch, but it seems like their management has definitely lost the hospitality touch, aside from not maintaining or upgrading parts of the property. Considering how much they charge a night, you'd think they could invest it back into the outdated parts. Aside from that, the security guard I dealt with, after booking reservations for lunch, was nearly hostile, and interrogative. I used to bring my tiny, well behaved dog here and never had a problem. In fact, most of the guests seemed to enjoy seeing/ meeting her. I'm responsible and always keep her on a leash, pick up after her, and keep her in a stroller when inside. They no longer allow pets on the property. There are plenty of pet friendly resorts, hotels, and even restaurants in the Palm Springs area. They've lost the spirit of inclusiveness. I read the reviews and I had some skepticism before booking. While there were very many positive reviews, there were also some negative ones. To be honest, while I could understand some of the negative reviews (spices used in restaurant, some chipped paint in the room, outdoor paths stone and dg), these were minor issues. If you are looking for something to complain about, you'll almost always find it. Anything negative was far outweighed by the fantastic grounds, numerous soaking tubs, very comfortable bedding, and great restaurant. The spa was great too. We each had a balancing massage and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife, who is a massage therapist, had Gabriel work on her. She said it was one of the best massages she has ever had. Quite unexpected for a spa massage. I loved this place. If the soaking tub needed to be a bit warmer, the maintenance staff that was constantly checking on the temperatures, would increase it for you. Everyone was super friendly and professional. We stayed more centrally, near the grotto, which was worth the extra expense. The desert rooms are farther away from most of the tubs, pool, spa and restaurant (six or seven minute walk), which might bother some. The yoga dome is closer to those rooms though. I will definitely be going again. If you are looking for a place where they wait on you hand and foot, this is not the place for you. Everything is there, but you may need to get some things yourself. Two Bunch is a bit pricey, but in my opinion, worth the expense. A very relaxing and pampering retreat. read more

Incredibly disappointed. Shabby, run down uncared for appearance of grounds and room. Staff (who were almost non existent) seemed not to care much about guests. For $500 per night: No in- room coffee, no mini bar, no room service, no housekeeping, invisible ice machines, no comfortable chair in the large but bare room. Extremely limited restaurant hours. Waterless fountains around the property, litter, broken cement in the Grotto, chipped paint, uneven doors. A neglected, over rated property. read more

My friend and I went for a staycation and it was a wonderful experience.4 star because the first night the wall A/C was making noise all night. The team came to repair it at 1:30a right when we called but it wasn't happening. They switched our rooms the next day and we're super nice about it. Now to the good stuff, the mineral baths are phenomenal. We sat around and soaked all day, like in and out for 14 hours, they are open all day and night. They have awesome classes through out the day, we took tarot card and painting and wine. It was so relaxing. We got massages and facials no other amenities come with the massage so just expect to pay 280 with tip for a deep tissue, fancy resort stuff. The restaurant was amazing and fresh, we had the sea bass, hamachi and salad sprouts and seeds. Super relaxing vacation, feeling reset and recharged for life! Treat yo self! read more

I'm actually shocked by the lack of professionalism and hospitality at this place. It's beautiful but it feels like it's the first day of work for every member of the staff. No one knew the answer to any question or were willing to help find it. The restaurant forgot about us and forgot half of our order. The water from our room's sink was cloudy and undrinkable. I was hoping this could be a regular spot to visit in socal but at every turn, we were completely let down. I travel a lot and this was one of the worst experiences in terms of hospitality in quite a while. Desperately in need of new management. read more

My stay at Two Bunch Palms has been all but spectacular. Upon checking in (2.75 hours after the scheduled 4pm check in) our room had just been serviced from the previous guest, and not up to standard either. There was a nest of hair folded up into our bath mat, someone's Juul pod garbage littered along our back patio, a missing Bose speaker which we were then accusatorily questioned about it's whereabouts. This hotel is hidden behind a reputation not the staff nor management wish to uphold. For the price of a room the price of an upgrade and special requests amount at over 2k the hotel should be accommodating, clean, conscious, and respectful. I received not one of these things during my stay with two bunch palms. The spa amenities aren't worth it. It is baffling to me how this "resort" is considered 4 stars. - the one restaurant on site was as loud as a cafeteria with slow and unknowledgeable wait staff - the menu was limited to food that seemed to try to include a minimum of 30 spices in each dish. It was impossible to eat anything simple and healthy. I asked for the salmon on some lettuce so I could try to make a salad, and I received a half-order of salmon on two wilted pieces of lettuce. The first night I had a very small piece of chicken presented on bread plate. - we sat at the "Cool Pool" the majority of one day, and there was never staff around. Dirty cups, napkins and dishes were piled everywhere all day and you could see cockroaches running around - when I did have an opportunity to speak to the server that barely made an appearance, she was straight up rude when asked if they had any smoothies - we could here everything the people in our neighboring guests were saying and playing music way into the night - the spa services were absurdly priced for what was offered - when sitting in the thermal springs, there was no staff nearby as a guest was on her cell phone on speaker and filming others in their tubs, so the guests had to deal with it - no coffee maker in the rooms meant we had to get up and immediately walk 10 min up hill to the "breakfast building", which was a tiny little building with barely any choice in food as well This place was definitely not 4 star, not worth the money and I do not recommend going here if you wish to relax. The Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage or even La Quinta is a million times better read more

I love this place and I go back over & over again. I am not too sure where all the negative reviews coming from... There is something special about this place where I feel renewed after each stay. They have card readings and they are so on point. I had a tarot card reading on my birthday last year and I teared up a little. He knew his stuff. The restaurant here is also amazing. They have hands down the best hummus & pita bread. It's also very vegan friendly. Their margaritas & all their cocktails are delish. I love sitting at the bar and watching the bartender make his magic. The view from the restaurant is beautiful as well -it's one of my favorite things about this property! If you are looking to get away from stress and unplug for the few days, Two Bunch Palms will deliver that. The whole property is filled with incredible cactuses, all kinds of Palm Trees and hammocks! You see roadrunners, baby ducks and bunnies on your morning strolls.. Lastly, the staff here is so great. They sure do get out of their way to make sure your stay is smooth and all your questions are answered. 5 starts to the management! I look forward to my next trip which is in few days :) read more

Beautiful setting, food was very good, staff was friendly and helpful. Gave it four stars and not five stars for a few reasons. First there is no coffee available until 630 am .. I'm an early riser and this was frustrating. The rooms were mediocre for the price point and there is no chair inside the room and only one folding rack to put a suitcase. The light on the air system shined in our face all night with no way to turn it off. I think at this price point more attention should be made to these kinds of details. I also think reservations to the hot tubs should be specific and not pick the one you want. Got yelled at by a crazy woman who apparently put a bathrobe and swim trunks to save one. The staff removed it I am guessing they thought they forgot it . She came back and was screaming at us that we stole the swimsuit to get that spa tub. The staff was fantastic at resolving it but it could have easily been avoided. read more

The most chill. I enjoyed the lack of oversight. It was a resort that thrived on responsible guests. There was attention to detail in all the right places. Having the tarot rewinds and paint/wine experienced in the glass house was so gorgeous and something I'll never forget. The jacuzzis were so comfortable, warm and chill. Loved all of it read more

Very beautiful and relaxing but too loud can hear through walls other room partying all night and also the out door salt baths never get scrubbed . Noticed hair and skin and gross stuff floating bandaid . They don't take care of cleaning general areas even balcony at restaurant had branch part I almost tripped on in heels that the young waitress tripped on with food plates almost falling . Dirt trails and construction everywhere . The customer service at restaurant was good but We ordered two green tea lattes and the only gave us each half a cup ? Not worth over $700 for two nights. Missed events because map was not clear and they closed doors if anyone is late too bad you can't disrupt and go in . I get it but would be great better signs to help find places . Nice environment but not clean or kept up especially with construction. GO ELSEWHERE read more

Such a special place! The energy and the vibes from this place is something else! I felt very calm, happy and enlightened. They also have multiple activities, including tennis court, basketball court (they provide all the equipment) giant Jenga and other stuff. They have activities including sound bath massage, 3 types of yoga classes, wine tasting, tarot reading and angel messages. The whole place has a mysterious natural vibe with corners that have different things to do and look at. My favorite part are the hot baths with natural hot springs and you can go to these baths any time you want during the day and night! I definitely recommend going to this place. read more

Had a relaxing stay at this resort. The resort keeps a good operation wherein we can all relax amidst the Covid pandemic. I have never felt unsafe even once in my stay. Quite refreshing to have found this little resort that comes close to resorts found in more tropical locales i.e. Bali, Tulum of the early to mid 2010s. Special shoutout to the wait staff at the hotel's restaurant who were so accomodating. Each one were so eager to please. The wait staff working between the days of Nov. 22 to 24 has to be commended. One lowpoint i've experienced in this hotel is due to the receptionist working at 8 am on Nov 24. He is an older male receptionist with sparse white hair. I came in to check out. I waited for him for quite some time to emerge from his office. As he emerged from his cave, I had to initiate the conversation as he was so perplexed that a guest had made him come out of his office. There was no warmth shown by this person which is a clear antithesis to the warmth shown by the restaurant wait staff and ground staff. Instead of greeting a guest warmly, the first thing he said to me was "do you have your mask?" despite me standing more than 6 feet away. My point is he could have greeted me with a "good morning" first to establish good rapport and then ask me about the mask. He then proceeded to keep on perusing on his paperwork without so much looking at me. After i've said that I want to check out and that i've just had breakfast at the restaurant, he replied curtly "you don't even need to come in here for that." If this resort was to position itself as a world class resort as oppose to a regional quirky resort, it must do something with this receptionist's incredulous attitude. Most of us have not been in a pandemic before. We go out of our way to relax close to home because of this pandemic. Our stay should not be punctuated by such behaviour shown by this old, white-haired man. This was not a good way to end my trip. I would have given this resort four or five stars but i'll settle for two stars solely because of this old, white haired, male receptionist. read more
