Stayed here last year during ThanksLiving (this is the only proper name I will refer to describe the third week of November) week and we were beyond pleased with Les Cactus! Such a cute and fun vibe, very quiet after hours and overnight, great rooms with clean, spacious layouts, and dog friendly so our sweet pup got to be with us. Location is great as it's close to downtown. We liked it so much that we decided to return this coming Thanksgiving week, just made our reservations for that! This hotel is a dream! It was booked because all the surrounding chain hotels were sold out, but I am so glad I stayed here! The rooms are adorable and like mini condos. Everything is pink. It has a very trendy, "instagrammable" look. Rooms have a kitchen are and a little backyard with some chairs. Overall, the room is so cute. I also arrived to a little bag of snacks on my bed, nice touch. The hotel has a lot of rules (no guests, 21+, pool closed after 9pm, no outside alcohol). They don't have a bar or restaurant. Personally, I loved the rules. It was serene. It was quiet. It felt like a little break from the hustle and bustle of reality. I can understand why some people wouldn't like all the rules, and if you don't want rules and want more of a party experience then this hotel is not for you. We visited Palm Springs for an extended weekend in late June. The property has a very unassuming entrance door, but once inside, you feel instantly comfortable. We had spoken with Daniella and Rich a couple of times prior to arriving to go over the two room categories. Daniella checked us in and was just as delightful in person; she gave us a warm welcome, walked us around the pool area, and led us to our room. The grounds are kept spotless, including the pool and loungers. The decor is super cool with its pink theme, featuring matching accents on the lounge chairs and even the pool towels. We chose a "comfortable" room category, which was clean and a refreshing escape from the desert heat. The bathroom was a bit retro but very functional. The bed was amazing, sturdy and super comfortable, and we crashed hard after a long day of travel. The room itself was spacious, and the kitchenette was perfect for our needs, complete with a full-size refrigerator and a breakfast bar where we could comfortably check emails. For breakfast, the fresh, hot croissants, coffee, oatmeal, and yogurt were excellent. We met Rich on our first night, who works until the registration office closes at 9 PM. He has worked at Les Cactus for many years, and his knowledge of the property and local food suggestions were spot on. The employees are very respectful and always seemed to be cleaning, restocking water and towels, or clearing debris from the pool when they weren't greeting us. While we had heard rumors that the owner wasn't the most pleasant person, we never met him, and he certainly made the right choice in hiring Daniella and Rich. Overall, I highly recommend Les Cactus. This was absolutely the cutest little hotel I've stayed in. I loved all the pink! Pink towels, pink napkins. Everything was well maintained and very clean. Our room (I think I booked just the basic room) was spacious and the bed was super comfy. The property was quiet and not crowded and it was a great place to just sit and relax. Parking is free and they also include a little breakfast basket for you in the morning. Keep in mind this hotel is 21+ only. The area also felt very safe and it's close to the residential area. This gorgeous place is truly perfect in every way. I am so grateful to have found it. I had not been to Palm Springs in 30 years! I realize how subjective any lodging experience can be, so I will share some highlights that would instantly help me make the decision to stay here, were I the one reading this. The standard of cleanliness is very high, which is a BIG deal for me. Details are important at Les Cactus. The rooms are pristine. I was able to be shoes-free and my feet stayed as clean as they do at home. The bedding and towels are cotton, and the detergent is either fragrance-free, or rinses away so well that it might as well be. No fragrances are used in the rooms (THANK YOU!). There is no carpet in the rooms, apart from one rug (under the bed) that is well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, open, bright, well-lit, absolutely lovely, and as air-conditioned as you desire them to be, which is adjustable via remote (in my room the remote was hand-held, but I think the one in my friend's room was located on the wall). You can also turn off the A/C, or merely use it in fan mode if it gets too chilly. The grounds are immaculate. The aesthetic is inviting, delightful, and impeccable. You will find a large pool, hot tub (the jets feel fantastic; you may ask for them to be turned on), a few hammocks, numerous green plants, colorful flowers, trees, cacti, hummingbirds, butterflies, and heart-opening views from the sweet little deck upstairs. Whether rain or shine, I loved every moment. If you are looking for a stay wherein meditative states are possible without even trying, this is one such place. The people who work here are warm, kind, and wonderful: Daniela, Richard, and Andy are all spectacular. I cannot say enough good things about Les Cactus. Everything about this treasure of a place made me want to remain there and never leave. Every day, I extended my stay, "Just one more day." I wish I could have stayed for a month (or a year!). If I move to Palm Springs, it will be largely thanks to the experience of staying here. Thank you so very much for everything. I felt such a natural sense of peace, ease, happiness, and joy, and also got very good rest. I cannot wait to return. What a gift. Thank you, thank you, thank you. * * * ADDITIONAL NOTES * * * There are only two or three items I would change or improve if I could. Given the overwhelmingly (((POSITIVE))) experience I had here (for five nights, split into one and four-night stays), these do NOT warrant a decrease in my overall rating. 1. The water pressure in the shower, which in my room was very low, could be better. This is not uncommon at even the best hotels and Airbnbs. Luckily, I currently have a shaved head, so it was doable. 2. I did at times wish the pool and jacuzzi were open until 10pm. However, 7am to 9pm is not bad, and you can still be outside enjoying the evening after hours. The extra hour or pool and hot tub use at night would be welcome. 3. My friend also stayed here (in another unit), and has back trouble. For her, the bed was much too soft, so she tried to sleep on the floor using the provided yoga mat (another added in-room bonus, by the way), but for her, this one detail was sub-optimal. I, too, at times, find soft mattresses/bedding painful. At home, for the last decade, I have slept on a four-inch trifold pad, placed directly on the floor, and it is the perfect balance between soft and firm (zero pain). For whatever reason, the bed at Les Cactus did NOT cause a problem for me (while the Airbnb I lived in for 31 days prior to arriving there definitely DID, and it was a miserable experience at times). I certainly would not mind a bit more firmness for the mattresses at Les Cactus, but as of August 2025, I had no issue in terms of comfort: my sleep and rest were not disturbed, and I had no pain upon rising. read more

Cute boutique hotel in Palm Springs! I chose Les Cactus over other hotels because of the size- it is a much smaller property perfect for couples or small groups of friends. Location Of course the weekend I went was a HEATWAVE (110+ degrees) so there was no way I was biking around but nice to know they had bikes available. Downtown Palm Springs is definitely bikeable if nicer weather, but also fine to drive around and park easily. There are easily marked spots for Les Cactus around the property and they give you a parking pass when you check in. I read another review that had said they wished the parking was gated however I thought the neighborhood was incredibly safe- there are only other boutique hotels and residential housing. Accommodation The petite room was exactly as described- clean, comfortable bed, with air conditioning that worked really well (not noisy or smelly) and the wifi worked well throughout the property. I wish I had brought an HDMI cord to hook the TV up to my laptop! The shower water pressure is high, had hot water and the toiletries provided were fine. I liked the breakfast that was provided in the morning- one day it was croissants, and the other day bagels with fruit, yogurt etc. The water from the water filter tasted fine too- nice and cold. The pool was definitely refreshing with misters around some of the chair sitting area. They have a cute "hidden" rooftop area for pictures! Service I had late night check in and had no problem getting to the room/entering late. The check-in in the morning was easy, and there seemed to be many staff working even though Les Cactus is a smaller hotel. Overall, I would definitely recommend Les Cactus to others visiting Palm Springs! At $150 a night with taxes/fees, it is a more afforable hotel with a very cute vibe read more

Can't use the pool and Jacuzzi after 9:00 PM, can NOT bring any liquor on the premises, you have to buy theirs, no unregistered guests allowed to visit. Cameras all over the place. Staff very strict. We got permission to get a mobile massage company to give a couples massage for my husband's 76th birthday. When the masseuses arrived, they were asked to leave. I came to the front desk and reminded them that they told me it was ok. Well, they denied it, even though I called twice to clear it. They always said, NO PROBLEM. I lost my deposit and the hotel did NOTHING to compensate me. We're return guests and will NEVER return again unless there is new ownership. BEWARE!! read more

We prefer adults-only boutique hotels like Colony Palms and Sands, but decided to try something new. We were disappointed to see this was basically an updated apt complex with a few cutesy decor touches that attract hordes of influencers. There was actually some kind of sad influencer convention during our stay, and we had to share the pool with 50+ aspiring influencers of all ages/sizes who probably shelled out thousands to learn how to be a tik tok star and learning how to pose in between wilted takeout salads by the pool. The whole thing had a fyre fest vibe to it and the organizers kept trying to pump up the crowd with sorority-type cheers, making it impossible for us to enjoy chill pool time. My biggest complaint was that they didn't bother to update the old musty bathrooms that were filled with flies, and that includes not having HOT WATER. A hot shower is the #1 most important thing when you're paying $400/night. When we asked the guy at the front desk, he shrugged and said it's an old hotel - zero apology and it was clear he was annoyed by this common guest complaint. We ended up having to push out our dinner reservation another hour so we could wait it out and squeeze in 2-min lukewarm showers. I've stayed in many historical hotels and it's not that difficult to upgrade the plumbing. I will give a shout-out to the girl at the front desk who checked us in - she was more friendly than the guy. Overall there are way better places to stay at this price point. read more

I need to start by saying I don't ever leave reviews because I simply do not have time, so if I'm leaving a review, it's for a reason! I've actually stayed at this hotel several times but this time hit different. We live out of state and my husband and I own a home in the area and to make a long story short, we had a leak emergency at the house while my husband was out there visiting it for maintenance and it left him homeless for a night. I immediately called les cactus to see if they could accommodate a last-minute reservation and they over delivered! I spoke with Daniella and she is AMAZING!!! Not only did she have a room available, but she proactively created a door code for my husband, as well as went in the room and turned the AC on to make sure that everything was comfortable for his arrival. This was so appreciated after such a stressful day and as a wife who was out of town and felt helpless, I was so grateful knowing my husband was well taken care of! We will always return to the spot because the customer service is forever top-notch! Aside from the incredible customer service tonight, this location in general is just so beautiful and quiet and relaxing, and I would highly recommend it for your next stay in Palm Springs! read more

The room layout was good and spacious we got the comfortable. The bed was soft good mattress and good size. The restroom was below average, the toilet was hard to flush, the shower was outdated and small. The music was too loud for our room we were really right next to the entrance. Aesthetics were super cute!! Pool: Place comes with Jacuzzi, Pool deck and sun deck. The pool was small and lots of plants near the pool so towards the end of the day it was dirty . Loved the jacuzzi! Sun deck is small but cute. Pool closes at 9pm but wish it was open later. They offer canned alcohol and were good but pricey. Parking: wish they had gated parking. What a dreamy desert getaway this place is! It's now one of my favorite boutique hotels in Palm Springs. My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway during the pandemic, and we were so enamored with the space we decided to return. See below for a full review. PROS: - The property only has 27 rooms and it's adult-only, so it is as intimate and tranquil as you can get in PS. - The design of the common spaces and rooms are cohesively dessert chic and simply perfect *chef's kiss* - They take sanitation seriously. I saw everyone from the receptionist to housekeeping constantly sanitizing surfaces and furniture. - They have standard amenities like a saltwater pool, hot tub, and massage room. My friend swings by for a visit, stays at this secret hotel, and my curiosity radar goes beep, beep. Off I go, and guess what? It's like a magic trick. Ta-da! There's this super-cute place right under my nose. I walk in, and I can't stop smiling. It's all cozy and charming, like a Pinterest dream come to life. Seriously, how did I miss this? And that's when it hits me: I've been sleepwalking through my own town. The pain of not knowing about this gem sooner is REAL. It's like missing out on a secret party that's been going on next door. Life's full of surprises, and this one's a mix of "duh" and "ahhhhhhhhhh!" all rolled into one. Who knew my town had such a sneaky side? My boyfriend and I had an absolutely lovely time during our stay at Les Cactus! I highly recommend this sweet little boutique hotel for anyone visiting the Palm Springs area! It's also very close to the downtown (we were able to bike there using complimentary bikes provided by the hotel in about 10 mins), which was super convenient! We came during the pandemic for a nice, safe little staycation. Les Cactus was perfect. It has a dreamy desert vibe and beautiful little spots around the hotel to hangout and relax. The decor and amenities are so picturesque! I probably spent the first hour of our stay just snapping pictures it was all so CUTE! We stayed in room 22, and wow, what a treat. Casper bed, a cute kitchenette with a kettle and full sized fridge, adorable wicker chairs, and a tv, what more can you ask for during a staycation? I also loved the little snack bag that was in the room when we arrived, and the breakfast baskets every morning. We spend most of our staycation relaxing in a hammock, enjoying the Mountain View from one of the rooftops, and relaxing by the pool. I felt like all the guests were very respectful, and kept their distance. We kept our masks on when we weren't eating or swimming, and everything felt very safe! Although Les Cactus doesn't have any restaurants on site, they provide snacks and little breakfast baskets with yogurt, granola, fruit and coffee in the mornings. The hotel is also very easy to order food delivery service to, and just a few miles from the downtown with lots of restaurants to choose from! I can't wait to come back, I feel like this would be an awesome place for a group of friends to stay together and explore Palm Springs (when everything is open again). Les Cactus literally stole my heart! The pink atmosphere kept a smile on my face the entire time! The theme is pink and green throughout. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff was great and very friendly. You must know that this is a peaceful, relaxing stay. You will not hear speakers or any kind of sounds at the pool. Pure bliss in your thoughts. If you are booking to party, this is definitely not the stay for you. I gave it four stars due to not having hot food and or an actual bar as that would be perfection for the guests and for my liking. All other aspects are met. Furthermore, I would like to repeat that this is a relaxing boutique hotel, I repeat, a BOUTIQUE hotel. let's say it together, Boutique! For those who thrive on boutique hotels you know you are booking for the following Perks: 1. One of a kind experience 2. Attention to detail 3. Unique/Vintage decor 4. Where do I start... the laundry list of rules when you check in was just so ridiculous. Pool and jacuzzi close at 9pm. It's an adults only resort, keep it open until 10pm, no pool floats, no outside alcohol allowed in the room or pool area, it went on and on. Richard, the manager, conveniently had his desk positioned so he could see what was happening poolside at all times, like the baby sitter. We were there for 3 nights and never was asked if we needed cleans towels or extra coffee pods. Not one of the people working there ever greeted us with a smile or a hello. I understand the owners are watching on cameras at all times. One of the most stressful times we've spent in the desert. Oh yah, the alcohol thing-canned cocktails were readily available in the lobby for $10 a pop. read more

The good reviews on this spot are obviously comped and paid influencers, you can tell by the photos they post. This place is cheaply aesthetically pleasing....There is no bar, but they have a rule that no outside alcohol is allowed to be consumed on the premises. Uh.... Okay, mom lol. They do have alcoholic beverages (canned margs with low % alcohol) available for purchase.... Obviously they have some sort of deal with the brands. There's a lot of rules for a boutique hotel. I felt anything other than comfortable or welcomed here. There were empty and broken soap dispensers in the room and when i brought it to the front desks attention (Florence) i was told they had no more toiletries... sounds fake but okay. When i asked to have house keeping come to our room because a drink had spilled on the blanket she told me her cleaning crew leaves at 3 and there was nothing she could or would do.... Not sure how you'll have a successful or even functioning hotel without a crew on deck at least until the office hours close. Pool hours end at 9, pool is centered of the whole hotel, so basically you have to be in your room by 9. There's just a lot of rules here. Very stiff, fake energy all around. On top of that, i was illegally charged resort fees to my card. Illegal meaning patty charged my card before disclosing what i was being charged for. My boyfriends card was also charged an additional $200. His card was NEVER in file. He paid for the canned drinks but somewhere down the line i guess they just wanted to charge us an extra $200. Claiming there was damage to the room....lololololllll. There wasn't they're just stuck up here and looking for any way to charge their paying customers. Honestly probably because they're not making enough money. Whatever, i guess their hustle games strong! AND JUST THE ICING ON THE CAKE * drum role please...* After presenting documentation for my boyfriends service dog, Florence illegally pressed to know what my boyfriends disability was. I think She was just butt hurt that we didn't pay the animal fee :( but sorry love, a service dog gets in everywhere for free. Oh, i also was charged an additional $20 for god knows what lol. But i guess if you're so desperate that you need to find any excuse to scam your paying customers, maybe you need my $20 more than i do Stay bless les cactus, love and light. I'm pretty surprised honestly to see all of the very high reviews...the hotel is cute, but overall I was not impressed with the retro motel type vibe and my husband referred to it actually as "putting lipstick on a pig". When we arrived, the front desk couldn't find our reservation and then stated that they had us in their system as not showing up until the next day. They got us squared away so it was not a big deal, but I was very annoyed when we saw an extra night charge show up on our card the next day as we had already paid in full. When we asked them to drop the charge, the front desk actually pushed back a little and we had to explain and show proof of this again. The rooms are large and spacious, but the bathroom is TINY. Water pressure is strong but drain is too small so I was constantly standing in an inch of water - very gross. The "daily continental breakfast" they offer is the same thing, every day. 1 banana, 2 croissants and a yogurt option. No coffee bar or any bar at all aside from a bar cart with canned beverages is all they have for $10 a piece. Location was great, very central to Downtown and various restaurants. Will not be returning here though and won't be recommending. read more

This is my first time staying at Les Cactus and I was not disappointed. The ambiance is super cute, inside and out. Very retro-vintage-motor court feel. My room was very spacious with plenty of light and thoughtfully curated decor. (Yes, the shower is tiny but the water pressure is excellent. And, plenty of hot water.) It is a small boutique hotel and it feels very peaceful. Check in was easy and the staff was extremely welcoming. Parking space is included and the hotel is tucked away on a street away from the busy roads. The room also includes a small fridge with freezer and kitchen sink area. The grounds are well manicured with cactus and bougevvilla and the pool area is clean with lounge chairs that aren't gross from sunscreen. There are tables with umbrellas scattered around so you can enjoy the free breakfast outside or in your room. The breakfast presentation was equally adorable- a per room basket with two croissants, banana, granola, and optional oatmeal and assorted chobani yogurt flavors with a choice of coffee or tea. Stayed here for 4 glorious nights in room 22 which has a king sized comfy bed, kitchen area and a closet bathroom area. Oh and a sitting area in front of a non working fireplace. Lots of cute details. I only wish our room had a dresser of some sort so you could unpack. Each morning breakfast is served in a cute little basket which you can enjoy on a variety of tables in the courtyard. The courtyard is the hidden gem!! Beautiful area with a pool, hot tub, fire pit, water fountain etc and oh so peaceful. There are hammocks too and bikes to use free of charge. I am really going to miss this place and am so happy my husband and I got to enjoy it. read more

Very cute spot, very comfy bed, deeeeelish croissants (free continental breakfast), I appreciate their commitment to keeping the place quiet with some basic rules (yes more than I've seen before in a hotel personally but honestly, was way into it!), I do wish that the front desk was open overnight (would feel more secure maybe? Or like I had more recourse if something was amiss?) so deducting a star for that. Lastly, the walls are fairly thin BUT the white noise of the super efficient ductless AC drowns things out so no real complaint there, just an observation. Massage was great (they have a little massage room on site). Tips: the hotel is located in Warm Sands which apparently (?) is known for some of PS's rowdier (and in some cases, seedier) hotels. They literally surround this hotel on a small circular street but I experienced no ill effects - I would just say if coming and going late at night be aware of your surroundings. Room 19 was nicely tucked away in back, so pretty quiet but nice view of courtyard. It was a "Cozy" size (they have 4 diff sizes to choose from). I felt it was spacious. All in all, I'd stay here again! Thanks for a great 2 nights. read more
