My four wisdom teeth were about $180 total. He only accepts PPO insurance, so you better believe I get PPO dental insurance just to keep going to his office. Not sure about other people, but I don't ever pay copay for my 6-month cleanings. There's plenty of parking outside and it's close to the CVS and Albertson's. There's a TV in every room, so no worries about getting bored. Wait times are short and he only cleans teeth on Tuesdays. No complaints here.

I'm guessing it's latter. Just to clarify -I'm not some sensitive Sally. Anyone who fails to floss or go to the dentist is going to bleed when they get a cleaning if their gums are inflamed. (And that's not me,) This guy is so bad, you'll wonder if he's blindfolded himself while working on you. Prepare to leave with less mouth - more gaping bloody maw. I don't normally write negative reviews, but this one warrants a warning because it's your health and rather serious. More concerning than leaving with scabby mouth is the fact that Dr. Lin doesn't have the skill to diagnose you correctly, and that's dangerous. The dentist I went to after him informed me Dr. Lin took bizarrely insufficient x-rays that failed to even reveal my teeth roots. In doing so, he missed the decay below an old filling that would've turned into something more painful and expensive had I continued to patronize Dr. Lin (maybe that is his strategy?). These bizarre X-rays (I saw them) were a clear indication to me that Dr. Lin has no clue what he's doing. The friend who referred me to Dr. Lin in the first place left him for exactly the same reasons of incompetency - he gave her a completely ill-fitted night guard and repeatedly botched her bonding so badly, she had to leave. The dentist we left him for made it more evident just how lacking Dr. Lin was. My new dentist is prevention-focused, qualified, modern and high-tech. (Example: he invested in a machine that actually reduces the number of patients that will need to see him in the future - the gizmo makes Ozonated ice used to kill every bit of bacteria before any cavity is sealed. Without this ice, every cavity eventually becomes a root canal at some point in your life, later.) I floss daily, use a water pic and visit the dentist every 4 months for deep cleaning because I want to keep all of my teeth. I hate to say it, but you may be better off letting your teeth rot out of your head unattended - or poking yourself with the cleaning tools in a DIY fashion than visiting this guy.

This update is way over due. I'm finally done with the Invisalign, and had some much needed bonding…read morework done to my teeth to give them more ' finished look'. I had one tooth that was misaligned, and the same tooth was very short causing it to look even worse. Now that my teeth are straight, Dr. Stein elongated the short tooth and fixed another front tooth which had a small chip. I thought I would be in her chair for at least an hour for this procedure. She was so fast, I was done literally in 20 min or so. You can tell when someone knows what he/she is doing. Dr. Stein clearly knows what she is doing. She made what seemed like a difficult cosmetic work look so easy. Now it was my turn to inspect the results. I almost couldn't believe how natural my new teeth looked. She created completely new shape to the short tooth and the other chipped tooth was also meticulously fixed. She matched the color exactly, and even with close inspection, I could not tell where the synthetic bonding material was. I've attached a pic of my teeth. Take a good look, and see if you can tell which two teeth were the ones she fixed. I had always wanted to fix my teeth but never felt comfortable with my past dentists so I never did anything about it. I had a good feeling that Dr. Stein was the one, and I'm so glad I went through with it. It was a long journey but I would do this all over again. If you are looking for a new dentist to go to or a talented cosmetic dentist who is going to help you obtain the most natural looking teeth you have always wanted, go see Dr. Stein. On my last visit, I was so anxious that before we even got started, Dr. Mostofi took the time to sit with me, talk me through my fears, and make me feel genuinely supported. That alone set him apart. During the procedure, the vibration from the drill became too overwhelming, and I stopped him -- not once, not twice, but eight times. Every single time, without a hint of frustration, he stopped, checked in with me, and waited until I was ready to continue at my own pace. His patience and compassion were extraordinary. By the eighth stop, rather than pushing through, he came up with a thoughtful plan: he rescheduled my appointment, prescribed Valium to help me relax the night before and the morning of the procedure, and suggested I swap my regular AirPods for noise-canceling headphones to block out the sounds that were triggering my anxiety. The difference was night and day. When I came back, we got through the entire procedure smoothly and comfortably. I left that chair feeling proud of myself -- and that's entirely because of the care and creativity Dr. Mostofi brought to my situation. The office staff deserves just as much praise. They are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. I cannot recommend this office highly enough.
