I sent an email inquiry months ago that didn't provide costs for treatment, and a follow-up phone call resulted in a promise of a return call that never happened. Finally, I noticed inconsistencies in clinical protocols. On several visits, I observed that protective barriers on high-touch surfaces, like light handles, were present, while on other visits they were notably missing. I had an appointment scheduled Thursday 09/11 with said hygienist which was booked months in advance on March 13th. O[[HIGHLIGHT]]ne week before the scheduled appointment on Thursday 09/04, I get a call telling me said hygienist has moved out of state AND I can not keep my scheduled appt time of 10:50 am AND the only option for the day is 9:50 am. [[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I moved 35 miles away from their location and I had scheduled a Dr appointment on the same day around the dentist appt time of 10:50. I[[HIGHLIGHT]] asked her why they were just notifying me 1 week in advance and she gave me some lame response about having over 100 patients to reschedule.... [[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I guarantee the hygienist didnt just up and move the day before!!!!! I[[HIGHLIGHT]] told her that I have a job and I do not live near the office anymore so I can't just drop everything to come at 9:50. [[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]I told her I would try to move the Dr appt and would call them back. I was not able to move the Dr appointment, but decided to accept the 9:50 am appt anyway. BUT have a job so I got busy and was not able to call back before the office closed that day. I sent an email about 6pm letting them know I would accept the 9:50 am appt. T[[HIGHLIGHT]]he next day, I get a response stating "That appointment is no longer available because we are not able to hold multiple appointments for one patient."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] WHAT MULTIPLE APPOINTMENTS!??!?!?!? The office is clean and everyone is competent, knowledgeable and nice. I was particularly pleased with how a new crown turned out. The old crown, put in by a previous dentist several year ago, did not fit the area well and needed to be replaced. Dr. Suzman and his staff did an excellent job. I no longer have problems with lots of food getting caught between my teeth. In addition, Dr. Suzman gives painless injections. I have seen Dr Suzman for over 10 years. He's a great and, most importantly, honest dentist. My previous dentist was doing a procedure every 6 months, including refilling old fillings, despite that I was consistent in brushing and flossing my teeth every day. One of the best dentists I've ever had. Dr. Suzman is a great dentist, and has a great team. Everyone I've met here is thorough, clear, direct, and kind. Dr. Suzman is a conservative dentist, and calls out that other dentists try to sell patients on unnecessary dental work. Stonecreek seems to care more about what is actually best for their patients, even if they make less money on each client. Weird Side Note: Colin Suzman has a side hustle, selling "Dr Collins" dental care products. He has boxes of the stuff around his office, and offers free samples to clients. He believes strongly that the teeth care products currently on the market are lacking, and is working to provide something better. PROPS: I can't speak more highly of this office. SLOPS: Long waits between making an appointment, and when open appointments are available. BEWARE ON CHARGES AND PAYMENT YOU MADE NOT APPLIED TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND THEY TRIED TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR IT AGAIN!!!! I been going to Dr. Suzman over 10 years and sadly and now I'm DONE!!!! Maria and Yesenia couldn't really explain on how they screwed up on my account balance...This is the second time they screwed up. For this reason my family and I will stop going to this dentist. I made payment on service perform for my husband crowns and Yesenia said I still have half of the balance due which I already paid for. She didn't care to double check the payment record and was unapologetic about their mistake. They applied it to the wrong account. She pass me in to Maria the office manager, again for some reason they can't seem to find the payment I made until I called it out after checking my HSA account. Dr. Suzman is the best. I've been seeing him for about 12 years now. He's meticulous, friendly, and a master virtuoso of dentistry. I only wish I had found him earlier! I had my last visit ever at Dr. Suzman's office today, and it's a little bittersweet because he is one of the best dentists I've ever had. Since I am moving out of the Irvine area, I want to share my little secret of what a great office this is. Dr. Suzman is one of the most caring and knowledgable dentists that I've ever had the pleasure of working with, and he has helped me regain my gum health. I've never seen a dental office with more passion or care for sensitive gums; at most dental practices, the health of your gums is typically of second-order importance. I had a gum graft done here through one of Dr. Suzman's associates, and it was done so well that no one can even tell that it's a graft. I also received several cleanings from Rachel, who is literally the most detail-oriented hygienist that has worked on my teeth in the 27 years of my life. I have referred all my friends to Dr. Suzman, and I would recommend anyone reading this review to give this dental office a try. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES DURING THIS PANDEMIC I went in recently because it's becoming clear that this pandemic isn't going away anytime soon and we need to maintain our health. Dr Suzman's office has a new filtration system, cleaning protocols, and staff procedures to ensure safety to the client and staff. You'll be called in from your car. You'll also be asked a few questions before your appointment date. There is no more waiting inside. There's plexiglass at the front desk. Everyone is wearing protective suits and face shields and masks. The office is seeing less clients to spend time on cleaning between clients. Overall, I think Dr Suzman and team are doing their best and taking huge steps to continue servicing the community and ensuring our health safety. I really enjoy seeing Staci as my hygienist. Found this dentist through my insurance (Delta Dental) and am pleased to say I'm glad I did. The office is very spacious, up to date and complimented with a very friendly staff. The dentist I frequent causes pain and bleeding when I get my teeth cleaned (that asian brute force) but at this office, there was minimal bleeding and no discomfort at all! All this time, I thought I was just unfortunate to have weak gums that were prone to bleeding. Dr. Collins also mentioned that he noticed some erosion in the lining of my mouth and explained it may be caused by the toothpaste I used (Colgate). He recommended his own toothpaste and said that patients have experienced great results. Whether or not he's trying to sell me a product, for 10 bucks (one restoration and one whitening) I was willing to give it a shot. I googled the toothpaste when I went home and found out this is sold at walgreens and amazon as well. Pretty impressive. All in all, I would recommend this office. At times I do feel like they're trying to sell me on whitening and I've never had a dentist recommend their own line of toothpaste, but I never feel forced into buying anything. What I love most is that the dentist explains everything they're doing so there are no surprises. My receipt had a charge for $195 for a dental cleaning as a first patient visit (included x-ray exam as well), for those who care or don't have insurance. I'm surprised there are such negative reviews for this place because my experience was awesome. read more

The experience I received as a first time client was that of a 4 star hotel. I felt welcomed and was told what was going to happen upon my approval. Paperwork was a bit lengthy and would have preferred to have done this on line but I didn't have time as they accelerated my appointment within 14 hours! Something strange is going on here. The doctor use to be super friendly and cool... But I recently went in for my 6 month and it was SO uncomfortable, I won't be going back. He was fine with me, but super rude to the dental assistant. So much so I actually mentioned something to her when he left the room and she said it was her fault bc she was being forgetful lately. Be aware of Doctor Suzman and his deceptive advertising!!!! He advertise free 2nd opinion for NO FEE or NO FEE second opinion because on how all other dentists are such liars or crooked doctor. Pretty catchy and nifty when you have to do some major dental work. Then when you go there, he asks you during examination his examination: "I am going to use my camera to show you inside of your mouth". And as it goes, that little show costs you $350. He doesn't inform you or tell you that there is a hefty charge for using the camera. He just bills you afterward!!! Now that is what I call deceptive, crooked and unethical doctor. He quoted me also $4,500 for three fillings and cavities and the original doctor that I visited charged me $1,625. To be fair, Suzman diagnosis was in line with other doctor but 3X of the costs. His unexpected charges led me to believe that he is just has shady ethics. read more

I just love this office! From the moment I walked in the very first time, I knew I would be happy with this place. The office has a lovely interior. None of that cold, old school medical feeling at all. The decor is hip, which puts me at ease. Dr. Suzman is a wonderful dentist. He's very friendly and skilled at what he does.
