Part of the reason I hired a wedding planner was so that none of the stress fell back on our families, and I have to say it was such a blessing to have her. Our families got to enjoy the process and relax knowing there was someone with great experience handling every detail. I went with most of the vendors Jessica recommended and truly have nothing but great words to say about them as well. That is a perk of having her - she knows great people and works so well with them. As someone who really had no idea about the wedding process, and as a couple who had no "vision" other than great food and a good party, she was the best thing for us! She helped us create a theme that was reflective of us as a couple, and helped us with all of the hundreds of decisions that come along with wedding planning. I knew that I could plan the wedding on my own, but I wanted to ensure that I have a decor/coordination team that I could trust and completely release control to. That's what I found at Twin Perfections! In Sept of 2019 my sister mentioned that she knew some ladies that did wedding decor in the Southern CA area. A few weeks later, my fiancé, mom and I went to meet Candy and Tenny at their office in Torrance. I know when someone is talking a good game. With Candy and Tenny I could tell that behind the talks of making my dreams a reality, they had the skill, creativity, and resources to ensure that this happened. Before we left their office that day, we decided to book them for our wedding decor and month of/day of coordination. Throughout the process, the ladies were very accommodating! They would take images or visions that I had for the decor and elevate them. THEN allll of a sudden, COVID-19 came out of no where! I honestly had no idea what I was going to do about my wedding. Once again, the ladies were accommodating and assured me that they would work with me no matter the decision I decided to go with. About 4 weeks before the wedding, my fiancé and I decided to have a quarantine wedding. I told candy and tenny that if we were having a quarantine wedding, then it was going to be the best one ever!! It was a daunting task because we were planning a whole new celebration (from 650 to 40) in a new space (from a venue to my parents home) BUT these ladies helped me transform my parents home for my Ghanaian Traditional Marriage and my white wedding. I loveddd it and love them! Tenny created my decor scheme and executed it. She worked with me to incorporate pieces of my vision and recommended ways we could elevate it. Candy and Joi were my coordinating team. In the four weeks leading up to the big days, we have several calls to ensure things were in order. Even though I'm a planner, planning my own wedding I forgot stuff so having someone to keep me in line was amazing. Joi was with me in the hotel as I got ready, chatted with my family like she was part of the fam. Candy was at my parents house keeping things in order. Between these two ladies, they kept my African family running almost on time (which is a huge accomplishment lol). We were not the normal three hours late!! Yaaayy!! So happy to have had all three ladies on my team. So do I recommend them, well duhh!! Book Candy, Tenny, Joi and the whole TP team now!

We worked mostly with Ellie, but also had help from Pegah and Elham. They are all wonderful. Ellie always got back to us promptly and had great ideas for making it a special day. They coordinated everything from food, cakes, desserts, decorations, and entertainment. The dessert table was amazing! So many of our guests commented about how great of a party it was, but most importantly, my kids were beyond thrilled with their special day. We would definitely use Rama's Events and Catering again.

By the time we met carlos we had most of our vendors/services, (initially we planned to hire him only for decoration) Carlos was able to communicate and coordinate effectively with all our other vendors, We ended up hiring a photo booth and a bartender from him. Planning a wedding can be very stressful and a daunting task, but when you hire someone with alot of knowledge and experience in the industry you can be sure everything is on the right track. Decided to call Event Suite and I was glad I did. Monique answered and we settled for an appointment to see the venue. I was impressed by the space. The pictures do no justice give the place a look it's much bigger in person. A few days before the event me and Monique planned out a rough draft on how I wanted the set up to be. The day of my event I was happy that it came out exactly how I imagined it to be. I just had to put the last final touches on decorations and it was all set! I enjoyed my party and got many compliments on how nice and clean the venue is. Huge plus was the two bathrooms and how the tables and chairs are already provided. She used some of her own personal items that she had in order to jazz the decorations up a bit. From some balloons, to a balloon garland, a cake stand and even centerpieces. I'm only taking the time to write this review because I would hate for this to happen to anybody…read moreelse... When I decided to do a gender reveal party for my last baby, it was important to me that I would find out what the gender was with my family and friends at the SAME time - which is why I wanted to go with the balloon popping route... Even though it was going to be costly (Melissa quoted me $140), I decided to go with Melissa because she was the only vendor who said that an ivory balloon was doable (all other vendors I asked said they could only do black because the pink or blue confetti/mini balloons inside would be see through). So when I asked Melissa about an ivory balloon and she said that was doable, I trusted her... I even asked her once before I sealed the deal (out of hesitation and my gut from all of the other vendors saying they could only do a black balloon) if the confetti inside would be see-through and she reassured me it wouldn't be. I regret trusting her and should've followed my gut. Melissa comes on the day of my gender reveal party, with the ivory balloon, which is totally see-through. The blue inside couldn't be more obvious. What sucked was as soon as everyone walked through my door, the first comment they made was "we can see the blue inside..." - so to say my gender reveal party, which is supposed to be a special, sweet, and truly once in a lifetime moment was ruined by Melissa and her ignorance.. is an understatement. I am truly disappointed.
